Bono to get RFK Center Award

Bono and his old friend Wyclef Jean are recipients of the 2009 Ripple
of Hope Award, which is presented by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for
Justice and Human Rights. They'll get the award at the Center's annual
dinner on November 18 at Chelsea Piers in New York City. The Center
says Bono is being honored "for his efforts in the fight against
extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa."
