Her hair fell
long and golden
its tips floating
at the edge of
the dark green pool.

No one could
see her, so
silent she sat
Her green eyes
falling across the empty expanse.

Part of a whole
never to be
Long yearned for
Slyly taken
away.

She moved slightly
her green eyes
drown
in their own
dark pool.
