September 21, 2007 8:40 AM Hi Geoff, Thanks for the invitation and hello to all the other members, I watched a documentary in the UK which was showing many endangered species and the Albatros was one of these. Simple measures were shown to fisherman, like dyeing the bait blue, which put them off, and also attaching coloured ribbons on the longlines, this really seemed to deter them. It was terrible seeing them caught and dying, and leaving their mates and chicks on the nest to suffer and often die to...heartbreaking.. I will help in any way that i can....
