"It has been found that the only people who really fit the simplified mathematical model of self-interested rational behaviour at all times are economists and psychopaths."
Seems to me free market capitalism runs against the entire body of civilized law and public policy. Touted by psychopath fascists like Ronald Reagan, boss of Helena Van Damme.

For how would a nazi like Ronald Reagan act wrapped in an American Flag of military service? Here's how: He'd Crusade For Freedom, that is, bring over thousands of Nazi war criminals to America after World War II.

Why go free market capitalist with all the pschopathic pain it brings to the vast majority of people, when one can improve performance from non-performing mines in Britain and non-performing core industries in Russia. In industrialized Russia one can institute Atlee 1945 Keynesian planning and move towards Scandinavian welfare state socialism(highest standard of living in the world), rather than running with the pack and going Reagan free marketism with all the pain it brought. Just how democracy-loving is Hayek's psychopathic economic theory? Democracy is a nobler spirit of man. The pain of economic psychopathy to the vast majority of people runs counter to civilization, is psychologically and crminally deviant. It is a matter of finding out how the psychopaths are causing inflation and high unemployment at the same time and fixing the problem. The economic abundance of all can be achieved by the machineries of production and quickly in 6 months or so.
Who controls the core industries of society? The government? The wealthy capitalists? How much freedom do merchants have to make profits? How much freedom do people have from want?

An exposé in three parts tying together religion, terrorism and the banking system. Bits and peices are from other publications, but this is a comprehensive and well done job of describing the state of matters in an easily obtainable way. Warmly recommended.
Paul Grignon's 47-minute animated presentation of "Money as Debt" tells in very simple and effective graphic terms what money is and how it is being created. It is an entertaining way to get the message out. The Cowichan Citizens Coalition and its "Duncan Initiative" received high praise from those who previewed it. I recommend it as a painless but hard-hitting educational tool and encourage the widest distribution and use by all groups concerned with the present unsustainable monetary system in Canada and the United States.
In this part John discusses, from a hit mans perspective, the reasons and background to why we are at war in the Middle East.
In this part John discusses, from first hand experience, the globalization efforts of the corporatocracy in Central and South America.
In this part John takes Q & A and discusses actions which can be taken to counter the globalization efforts of the multi-national corporations.
WINNER OF 26 INTERNATIONAL AWARDS! 10 Audience Choice Awards including the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
Provoking, witty, stylish and sweepingly informative, THE CORPORATION (the movielink) explores the nature and spectacular rise of the dominant institution of our time. Part film and part movement, The Corporation is transforming audiences and dazzling critics with its insightful and compelling analysis. Taking its status as a legal "person" to the logical conclusion, the film puts the corporation on the psychiatrist's couch to ask "What kind of person is it?" The Corporation includes interviews with 40 corporate insiders and critics - including Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein, Milton Friedman, Howard Zinn, Vandana Shiva and Michael Moore - plus true confessions, case studies and strategies for change.
Not a movie about economy, but about the legislations that allow and demand from corporations to pillage the Earth and do everything in order to gain proffits.

IN DEBT WE TRUST shows how the mall replaced the factory as America's dominant economic engine and how big banks and credit card companies buy our Congress and drive us into what a former major bank economist calls
modern serfdom. Americans and our government owe trillions in consumer
debt and the national debt, a large amount of it to big banks and
billions to Communist China.ROBIN HOOD OR ROBBING THE HOOD: A real estate expert reports that tens of billions of dollars, are being transferred from the pockets of the poor into the vaults of big banks which use front groups and subsidiaries to camouflage their association with rip-off loans charging exorbitant interest rates.
A CALL TO ACTION: Economics is called "the dismal science," yet this film is anything but; it exposes practices we can all relate to because they effect us all, adds Schechter. The film also talks about how we can fight back.
Life and Debt - Globalization and Jamaica
Utilizing excerpts from the award-winning non-fiction text "A Small Place" by Jamaica Kincaid, Life & Debt is a woven tapestry of sequences focusing on the stories of individual Jamaicans whose strategies for survival and parameters of day-to-day existence are determined by the U.S. and other foreign economic agendas. By combining traditional documentary telling with a stylized narrative framework, the complexity of international lending, structural adjustment policies and free trade will be understood in the context of the day-to-day realities of the people whose lives they impact.
New Rulers of the World
A documentary film by John Pilger
'Global economy' is a modern Orwellian term. On the surface, it is instant financial trading, mobile phones, McDonald's, Starbucks, holidays booked on the net. Beneath this gloss, it is the globalisation of poverty, a world where most human beings never make a phone call and live on less than two dollars a day, where 6,000 children die every day from diarrhea because most have no access to clean water.

A short piece (4 min) of CBS News on the National Debt. The National Debt Clock in New York has not enough digits to last though the Bush era.
Find out why some feel the Federal Reserve System is a "bunch of ... organized crooks" and others feel some of its practices "are in violation of the U.S. Constitution." Discover why experts agree the Fed is a banking cartel that benefits mainly bankers, their clients in need of easy money and a Congress that would rather increase the Gross National Debt than seek funding from its constituents.
This important documentary is inspired by the well-known book, The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin.
<> Produced by William L. Van Alen, Jr., the 1-hour documentary is a co-production between Matrixx Productions and Cornerstone Entertainment and features interviews by not only G. Edward Griffin, but Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas), MOVIEGUIDE Founder, Ted Baehr, and constitutional authority, Edwin Vieira (4 degrees from Harvard). "Debt - government, corporate and household, has reached astronomical proportions.
Where does all this money come from?
How could there BE that much money to lend?
The answer is.... there isn't. Today MONEY IS DEBT.
If there were no debt, there would be no money.
If this is puzzling, you're not alone. Very few people understand, even though all of us are affected.
This fast-paced and highly entertaining animated feature by artist and videographer Paul Grignon, explains today's magically perverse debt-money system in therms that are easy to understand."
This is the "Director's Final Cut" authorized version of Aaron Russo's documentary, America: Freedom To Fascism (AFTF).
