Donald J. Bradish my sons story Tuesday, 11:47 AM
FREE AN INNOCENT!!

Donald BradishDonald Bradish went to a motel one day to get his girlfriend out of a dangerous situation. The manager at the motel hired teens to steal things for him, and Donald used to work for him. However, after being put on parole for stealing things for this man he refused to allow himself to be sucked into that world again, and he did not want his girlfriend to go through the same things he did.

He arrived at the motel and began to talk to his girlfriend in the motel’s parking lot. There were a lot of kids in and around the motel who also worked for the manager. All of a sudden gunshots were heard from inside the motel. Donald started running. He was on parole and did not want to get into any more trouble. He got a ride to his mother’s house, which was outside of county limits. This was against his parole rules, but he did not know where else to go. He was sick with anxiety.

Eventually his parole officer came to take him to jail for breaking parole. He served an entire 15 months. Right before he was to be released the cops questioned him about the shooting at the motel. Donald did not say anything. The day he finally was allowed to go home, the policemen arrested him and charged him for the crime of murdering the motel manager. He and another boy were charged. A drug dealer gave the D.A. Donald’s name in order to get out of being charged for bomb manufacturing.

During the trial numerous problems arose. At first they were told the trial wouldn’t be held due to “possible bias.” When the family of the manager came forth with the murder weapon, the courts refused their help. They disclaimed their statements because they were “trying to mislead the investigators.” One person on the witness stand, who was in the room at the time the manager was shot, was asked to tell the court if the shooters were either of the two boys being charged. She said she “didn’t know them,” and that the shooters were two light-skinned African Americans. Probably the same two boys who had been threatening the manager of the hotel earlier the day of the shooting and scared away the maid on duty.

Then things became outright unbelievable. One of the jurors was being harassed so much that she became very upset in court during the trial and said she “would rather go to jail than finish out as a juror.” Soon after two more jurors refused to finish for unknown reasons. Here’s where it becomes downright wrong. One of the replacement jurors was the aunt of the victim. When she was selected as juror she sated that she did not know the victim, but the truth was later brought to light. The police department refused to remove the aunt off the jury. They said, “it will be OK.”

Over fourteen of Donald’s rights, according to the local laws, were broken and tossed aside. He did not receive a fair trial. He was clearly guilty until proven innocent, and no one made the attempt to find him innocent. His sentence is to serve 25 years or for the rest of his life.

Please sign the petition to free Donald. By signing the petition you are saying that Donald’s trial was unfair and the ruling should be thrown out. He’s already served 5 years, and he shouldn’t have to stay there one day longer.

tips for writing letters January 22, 2007 12:54 PM

 The Honorable (full name)

(Room #) (Name) Senate Office Building

United States Senate

Washington, DC 20510  Dear Senator:

 Keep It Simple

Your letter should address a single topic or issue. Typed, one-page letters are best. Many PACs (Political Action Committees) recommend a three-paragraph letter structured like this:

Say why you are writing and who you are. List your "credentials." (If you want a response, you must include your name and address, even when using email.)

Provide more detail. Be factual not emotional. Provide specific rather than general information about how the topic affects you and others. If a certain bill is involved, cite the correct title or number whenever possible.

Close by requesting the action you want taken: a vote for or against a bill, or change in general policy.

 The best letters are courteous, to the point, and include specific supporting examples.

To Conclude

Here are some key things you should always and never do in writing to your elected representatives.

Always

Be courteous and respectful without "gushing."

Clearly and simply state the purpose of your letter. If it's about a certain bill, identify it correctly. If you need help in finding the number of a bill, use the Thomas Legislative Information System.

Say who you are. Anonymous letters go nowhere. Even in email, include your correct name, address, phone number and email address. If you don't include at least your name and address, you will not get a response.

State any professional credentials or personal experience you may have, especially those pertaining to the subject of your letter.

Keep your letter short -- one page is best.

Use specific examples or  Use specific examples or evidence to support your position.

State what it is you want done or recommend a course of action.

Thank the member for taking the time to read your letter.

Never

Use vulgarity, profanity, or threats. The first two are just plain rude and the third one can get you a visit from the Secret Service. Simply stated, don't let your passion get in the way of making your point,

Fail to include your name and address, even in email letters.

Demand a response. This is how to write to people for Donalds Thanks so much,please let me no if you are writing letters and to whom so I can see how many letters are going out for him. God bless.

EXAMPLES to use if needed? March 09, 2007 3:51 AM

Todays Date....

To Whom it Concerns;

My name is Tamme R. Williams, a friend of the Bradish family.  This letter is written on behalf of Donald J. Bradish an inmate at the Pleasant Valley State Prison, and the loving family who have supported Donald's innocence and fought for his freedom for six long years!  I've decided to join them in their plight for Donald's rightful freedom.

This case is in serious need of re-opening.  Not only do you have an innocent young man wrongly accussed, convicted & incarcerated, but you have at least two actual murderers still roaming the streets of society.  There is no justice in that!

My request is that you please look at Donald Bradish's case, he is a victim of wrongful imprisonment, there was no real defense in his trial, witnesses who saw the actual killers were disregarded, the family of the victim came forward with evidence and they too were ignored.  Three juror's quit during the trial, one of the replacements was indeed the aunt of the murdered victim, there are many more reasons to believe that the D.A. in this case had a strong, vendetta against the Bradish family and he did what he had to do to get a conviction on Donald.

The entire criminal procedings for this case, investigation to conviction was handled with misconduct, bias, prejudice and disregard to any defense showing innocence.  Donald would never hurt anyone, he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.  There was proof of his innocence, yet it was either tampered with or neglected.  There was plenty of "reasonable doubt" that Donald committed this crime, however the jury never got to see or hear any of that, so he now sits 25 years to life, while the truely guilty murderers still roam the streets of society.

I ask you to please assist all of us who are outraged by this injustice and misconduct of the law regarding Donald J. Bradish, this intelligent, compassionate young man has so much good to offer the world, yet his life has been behind prison bars for over six years already.  Six years of an innocent man's life is too much to ask for, when it comes to severe misconduct and abuse of his Constitutional rights for a fair trial.

Thank you very much for your time in reading this letter, I hope that you find it in your power and in your heart to do the right thing for Donald and his family who are pained every day by this betrayal of of justice system.

Sincerely;

Tamme R. Williams

EXAMPLES to use if needed? March 09, 2007 4:43 AM

Todays Date.....

To Whom it Concerns;

My name is Tamme R. Williams, a friend of the Bradish family.  I'm very concerned with the Justice System in our country and Donald J. Bradish is one reason for this concern.  His story goes back over six years, Donald was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time helping a friend who was in trouble.  Donald did not kill anyone, there was no motive, there was no real proof... however there was indeed numerous violation's to Donald's rights and the court procedings were surrounded by misconduct of the prosecution, defense and judicial system.

The following are just a few of the serious misconduct that was allowed during Donald Bradish's trial...

  • A drug dealer gave the D.A. Donald’s name in order to get out of being charged for bomb manufacturing.
  • At first they were told the trial wouldn’t be held due to “possible bias.”
  • It was over 15 months before Donald was even questioned regarding the crime in question.
  • The family of the murder victim came forth with the murder weapon, the courts refused their help.  (claiming their statements  were “trying to mislead the investigators.”
  • One person, who was in the room at the time the manager was shot, was asked to tell the court if the shooters were either of the two boys being charged. She said she didn’t know them,” that the shooters were two light-skinned African Americans. Probably the same two boys who had been threatening the manager of the hotel earlier the day of the shooting and scared away the maid on duty.
  • One of the jurors was being harassed so much that she became very upset in court during the trial and said she “would rather go to jail than finish out as a juror.”
  • Then two more jurors refused to finish for unknown reasons.
  • One replacement juror was the aunt of the victim. When selected she stated, she did not know the victim, the truth was later discovered and questioned, however, they refused to remove the aunt off the jury. They said, “it will be OK.”
  • Over fourteen of Donald’s rights, according to the local laws, rules and the Constitution of the United States were violated and completely ignored.
  • He did not receive a fair trial, he was clearly guilty until proven innocent, no one made the attempt to find him innocent.
  • Tampering of evidence
  • Sentenced 25 years to life.
  • No motive, no previous like offenses.
  • Mike Ramsey D.A. has brought a lot of heartache to the Bradish family prior to this case, obviously there is "bad blood" between them. (showing prejudice, bias, vendetta's, revenge etc.,)
  • Two individuals were seen at the scene of the crime, but they were never investigated or questioned.
  • Donald is being used and the real killers get away with murder, still out in our society free to commit even more crimes.
  • and more....

It is all of our responsibility to do the right things in life, some don't of course, but the public elected officials have a duty to the people to make sure justice is served.  I still believe in our country and the judicial system, but American citizens are becoming fed up with the corruption, misconduct, abuse and injustice of the few "BAD APPLES" that continues to make headlines across the country.

Someone needs to be aware and stop this misconduct and abuse of the law!  Someone must start caring about the many innocent individuals serving prison time for crimes they didn't commit!  I'm hoping you will begin with Donald J. Bradish, please investigate his case, maybe the trust, faith and belief in our justice system will return to so many of us, if the wrong done to Donald and his family is made right??  Don't let misconduct take any more time away from this precious life, Donald deserves his rights, he deserves to be free!

Thank you for reading this letter, it is greatly appreciated.  I end this with hopes that you will find it in your power and in your heart to help all of us who believe in Donald J. Bradish's innocence, hope for his freedom and the wrong doers punished.

Sincerely;

Tamme R. Williams

I found this beautiful angel and thought of Donald... so I dedicate this graphic to Donald...

This angel needs to be here, right now in this post!!  Just to urge you, touch your heart and encourage you to write support letters for Donald...  Joann has been fighting for her son's freedom for way too long, she needs our help now and so does Donald!

Please, PLEASE write letters  on Donald's behalf.. there is another topic called CONTACT CA GOV. letters 4 Donald (I think that's right?)

Type up a letter, don't worry about spelling, grammer or being "politically correct"  none of that really matters, what does matter is that we are concerned and disturbed about Donald's story that has tormented him, his beloved mother and family for over 6 yrs.  Don't be fake, just be yourself and voice your thoughts and/or opinions.  Leave the fronting and faking to the politicians and such  lol....

The main point to make is that Donald is innocent and denied several of his rights during his trial, not to mention all the tampering, corruption, misconduct, lying and fabrication of truth.  Donald has been falsely imprisoned for over 6 yrs. while the actual murderer's are still free among us to cause more damage in our society.  That my friend's is NOT justice!

I will stand beside Joann with her fight for her son's freedom, simply because it is the RIGHT thing to do!  (and because she is so very special and means so much to this group & me).

So people PLEASE take a minute or two, concentrate on Donald and the painful, disappointing, frustrating journey that this family has gone through for so long now... let us try to help now, don't leave it up to someone else because it may not get done... take a stand, fight our system, let them know how you feel, think and what you want to be done to change the wrong's that have been done to not just Donald, but to numerous individual's in the U.S.

Let's begin to notify our public leader's that a serious change is needed in our nation, we don't like how they have been controlling the Justice system etc.,  it is your right as a citizen to do so and it is your duty as a human being, a child of God to take action to help make things better for us and for our future.

Dear Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger;

For several years you have been faced with over-crowding in your prison's.  As you bring attention to this while you work on solution's to the problem, may I ask that you please investigate the cases of questionable "innocence" "questionable misconduct" or "false imprisonment"?

Since news demonstrates how often corruption, misconduct and abuse is active inside law enforcement departments and within the District Attorney's all the way up to the courts and/or higher.  American citizen's are giving up on our national security, law enforcement or the entire justice system, the one's we are taught to TRUST, people are realizing we cannot trust them.  It is the one's who are corrupt, abusive and repeatedly behave with gross misconduct towards citizen's with intimidation, coercing etc.

Please pay particular attention to a case involving an inmate named Donald Bradish.  This young man is innocent of the crime he has been convicted of and doing 25 yrs to life for.  The D.A. in this case, should never have been allowed to be involved due to a history with the Bradish family and very "bad blood" between them.  From what I've learned about this D.A. he is a man with no conscience, no morals. He shows abuse of his authority to an excessive amount causing great harm to the innocent.

Donald's case reveals numerous Constitutional Rights, as well as many California Statutes, Rules ad Laws neglected, ignored and dismissed.  From jury selection, jury member's who quit and jury members who replaced them, one in particular who was the aunt of the victim in this case.  Family members of the victim came to court with the murder weapon, but they and the evidence were dismissed and thrown out!  How can this happen and be called "justice"??  Donald Bradish's defense was of no use at all, there was no justice in Mr. Bradish's trial, there really was no real defense!  This boy was "rail road ed" maybe as a "escape goat" or something for the D.A. but bottom line is that Donald is innocent!

You sir, are in a position of power to call for investigation's, you could simply take a look at Donald Bradish's case, I'm sure you would also see the injustice that was involved 6 yrs ago and remain still.  There were witness's who claimed there were 2 suspects of African American decent, (a testimony also ignored) which means that not only is it devastating enough to know this young man is wasting away, wanting death verses what he is living inside prison walls as an innocent man, but there are two individuals at large in our society who are cruel, cold blooded killers!!  So where is the justice in that?

I ask you Governor Schwarzenegger to please take time and investigate this case of Donald Bradish?  Already 6 yrs have been taken from this young man and the family who loves him deeply, they've pained for all these yrs., struggling to find anyone to help them.  Beings a D.A. and law is involved, rarely will anyone volunteer to help, the "Code of Silence" upheld in law enforcement is strong and threatening to citizen's who are innocent, or to those who fight their corruption and misconduct.

Something has to be done about our nation's D.O.C. and Justice System, the few "Bad Apples" must be located, picked and discarded... As long as there are Bad cops, Bad D.A's., attorney's etc., etc. there will be very little trust... So no respect on either side?  Is it any wonder why there is so much crime?  so many inmates to house?  I do believe in some cases people will retaliate, they will fight when they have been done wrong to, abused by a "rouge cop".  Seems to me it has become a vicious circle in many cases.

Bad cops, D.A's etc., harass with gross misconduct, threaten, coerce and greatly abuse their power of the law to whoever they "think" may be guilty.  The justice system is allowed to "LIE" to us, yet we cannot do so with them?  Therefore, we have a problem.  With bad cops causing so much distrust and disrespect towards them and the whole system, because of the ill behavior of a few, you will get retaliation, more crimes and possibly more physical harm?  The bad cops etc., are creating a war between them and the citizen's of the U.S.  They treat suspects terrible with hurtful LIES and abuse trying to get confessions, when this is done to so many innocent lives the mistrust and damage is done.

Either people sit and never want to know anything, they don't want to get involved etc., there are other's like me who won't let intimidation or brutality scare me from voicing my opinions, my opinion is that the justice system needs to clean house, before they want U.S. citizen's to begin to trust them again, as long as their is evil and so much of it running rampant within the judicial system, we cannot trust the one's who are supposedly there to "serve and protect", so the war on crime will continue if not worsen in time.

Justice is needed, honest truth in justice is what is demanded within our Constitution, if anyone should uphold the constitution, the statutes etc., it should be the historical "Peace Officer's" and the court system should return to "Innocent until proven guilty"  instead of what so many individual's, including Donald Bradish was blantenly denied, I know in Donald's case this young precious life had no chance for a fair trial, he was definitely "Guilty until proved innocent" and without a defense that actually did his job, Donald now 6 yrs of his life gone, sit's incarcerated in fear and depression because the system sure didn't work for him and he is beginning to give up hope that there is any justice for him?

Thank you for your time in reading this, I anxiously hope a reply or a response for Donald?  God Bless.

Sincerely;

and a nice morning it is too!  Hope this finds all who read it happy & healthy!

I just thought I'd try to bump this thread up, hoping more of you will add a letter to the Gov. on Donald's behalf...  I have emailed the one I wrote AND printed it to send via snail mail

OR our dearheart Joann could also print our letters that we post here to file along with her numerous documentations concerning her son.  I've never met Joann, never met Donald... however, my heart has found love for them and their plight.

WE NEED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, no matter how small, we must all take some action to change the wrong's of our nation, and sitting on your butts don't get anything accomplished (I know, you should see my house when I spend all day on the 'puter  lol ).

Please do not be one of those people who sympathize, yet just don't want to get personally involved or whatever???  Stand up, join Joann and her family in their fight to free Donald and give him the justice he was denied 6 yrs. ago.

I think that it would be good for Joann to have a file of support for Donald, like letters in his defense from us and all the other evidence she may have demonstrating the sincerely good in her son, his innocence from this awful crime that took him and 6 yrs of his life away so far... Let's all concentrate, type up a letter of support for Donald, post it here so Joann can print them out... while we send our letter's to CA Gov. through email, snail mail or both!

To all that are helping with letters, etc., Thanks Glitter Graphics
