Look to your left...that is my one and only pet...or am I "his" one and only human?...hard to tell sometimes. He came to my house as a stray one cold Feb. night. He was chilled, 1/2 starved, and crying his eyes out. He has been here for 8 years now and is a strictly indoor fellow, and doesn't seem to mind at all. He lives a life of luxury and is well protected and loved. We have traveled over 17,000K miles together over the last few years. I would rather take him with me than leave him at home. WEll, until lately, as his age is catching up with him and now he gets car sick. By the way, he is a Manx !

This is Rascal; he came to us September 25 2004. We found him running out of the woods near the road in front of our house. I searched the area for his owner and called our vet down the road asking if anyone reported loosing a dog. Since no one ever claimed him we figured he must have been a dump dog. Why anyone who dump a dog because they didn’t want it is beyond me, especially this little cutie. Anyway we feel in love with him and he is the gentlest, sweetest natured dog I have ever had. He gets along with our other two dogs great and constantly wants to be petted and loved. We weren’t looking for another dog but I am sure glad he found us.

This is Sammie…She is Half Akita and Golden Retriever
Sammie sitting pretty she makes a really big gopher at 50 lbs.
We got Sammie when we were living in Divide Colorado. She was born on Labor Day 2001. My husband wanted a dog so he could have a companion to take with him when he worked outside doing construction work. As soon as she was old enough he began taking her to the job sights with him. Needless to say she is very well socialized. Now that we live in Missouri and my husband no longer works construction she enjoys life running and playing with Gypsea and Rascal on our 3 acres.
This is my Gypsea girl…Taken when we lived in Colorado at 9400 ft.
She is half Springer Spaniel & Australian Sheppard. She is around 11 yrs old now. I got her when I was living in Grand Prairie. Texas for 6 years with my now ex-husband (all my ex’s live in Texas, but I just have one ex…LOL). We were doing a stained glass repair job in WaxahachieTX and in the back yard were five bouncing puppies. The lady said she had to find homes for them soon and did I want one. Well….I already had 2 dogs but after taking a weekend to think about it I just couldn’t get the puppies out of my head. So when we went back to install the repaired stained glass one of the puppies had to come home with us. I picked one of the females that was the most attentive and called her Gypsea (sounds just like Gypsy just spelled it different). Little did I know when I name her Gypsea how suited it was for her. She has now lived in 3 states with me and has traveled through at least 9 on our many travels.
