Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my lovely Friends!

All my Friends, I go to my husband.

We meet with him in Moscow. He fly to Russia tommorow.

a little time in Moscow, leter a little time in Kazan (he want ro see this city) and go to Cheboksary. It's our plans ha ha ha

Good holidays everything, my dear)))

Dana and we are glad to a frost. At last, a snow, a frost))) it is good!)))

Bye my Friends

I will see to all in next year!)))

Oh, not cold to me, Gala; my home is warm and cozy.  I have a fireplace and excellent furnace.  It is outside temperature that is cold.  So many people here not used to such low temperatures but where I grew up gets cold like Russia so does not bother me.  Thank you for second fireplace, and deer outside window, and guns (well, maybe not guns) and dog on hearth.  After beginning of year, I plan to get a dog, a Maltese like I had before.  I love those little guys; they have such big hearts.

Good holiday Dana.
Why it is cold to you? Do you not have heating?
Dana find me on facebook please
And all friends who has there pages, I ask find me there.

My special thanks to Lidiya, Mila, and Gala for the lovely birthday comments and wishes. Спасибо, мои прекрасные подруги   I love you all dearly.  Also thanks to Pavel for his so nice greeting, too.

So MiG is one day older than I am!  Are they celebrating as I do? LOL

I think it was Margaret, too, Mila.  Why she posts as anonymous now?  She is on Facebook and there she wished me a happy birthday.

On the 18th of December I am taking the train up north for eleven days and will be with my daughter and her family.  I will also see my son briefly as he passes through on his way to Taiwan to be with his wife and her family.  He just returned from playing in France during Thanksgiving time.

Today my aunt will buy a birthday day lunch for me.  On Sunday, I got together with several of my cousins and their families and we had a very nice time of celebrating.  Two of my cousins are twins.  They are five years older than I but we share the same birthday.

It is cold here last several days; only minus 7 celsius at the moment, or plus 20 farenheit.  I rather like it but so many people are suffering from cold who do not have proper shelter.  That is sad.

Everyone, please have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Yes Lida, cat would die in any case

Thanks Ken and Dana.)))

I love both of you  XOXOXOXO

Listen:

Margaret Thatcher 'Not Dead'

LONDON -- It was meant to be a somber message about John Baird's beloved cat: "Thatcher has died," the Canadian transport minister wrote in a recent text. The feline had been named 16 years ago in honor of his political heroine, former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.

Unfortunately someone, somewhere, misunderstood.

Before long, news had reached Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper that the Iron Lady herself had died, according to the BBC.

Cue a flurry of calls to London's Downing Street--where the current Prime Minister Gordon Brown takes up residence--and the embarrassing revelation that Margaret Thatcher was in fact alive and well. She had just attended a Remembrance Day service in London earlier in the week.

By then, whispers of her passing had already spread through a black-tie gala in Toronto, where Harper was in attendance along with another 1,700 people to commemorate the armed forces.

Harper's aide Dimitri Soudas had also reportedly started preparing an official statement to eulogize the Iron Lady. "If the cat wasn't dead, I'd have killed it by now," he was quoted as saying later.

Ha ha ha Dana Get a star from the sky and present!

Good morning, my dearest Friends!

gm

Have a beautiful day my friends!

animation11or1.gif

You cannot currently send a star to Lidiya because you have done so within the last week.

Here are some stars, anyway, just for you, Lidiya Спасибо очин болшой.

I was born and raised in the US Lidiya so I am very used to the behaviors here. One of my interests in Russia is your government. To me that's a relationship and probably both our countries struggle with relating and relationships. In an interview Putin probably brought across a major point that Russia is a patriarchal government. I see that as the same as a complete family which I grew up in. If I behaved the same as our youth does today I definitely would've of seen a lot of discipline. Actually by age seventeen my father gave me a choice of which branch of service I wanted to go into. So today in our country we have lost sight of family and that shows. It shows in our presidents both past and present ones, One can go around to different groups just here in Care2 and see where there never was any father's discipline in the disrespectful post cutting down others with their words.

I think with the economy and people losing their homes in the US and the wars are losing their strength more countries are possibly thinking twice about being allies in the US in those wars. So to me government might make war with Russia and other countries but the people in the US need Russia. The people need the example in leadership Russia inspires to others. It's frightening what's happened in the world but all humanity can't keep living this way and our country has no one to change government's behavior. I think your country does.

Our president is in China right now telling them they need to be more open to critisim and China is censoring news of this in their own country. Our country is losing credibility so I don't think your government is that concerned about war now.

Hello! Have a great day, sweet friends!

Hello! Preevet! Ah, well, a frost, a snow, day is wonderful!

Hello group! Have a nice day!

My reply for Ken in threed "News and discussion#11"

Yes Ken, unfortunately politicians of it do not understand. They play lives of people, as figures on a chessboard. My heart fades with horror when (that surprisingly women) with such ease speak American policies about war with Russia, that the frost runs on my leather. It seems to me they not absolutely understand, that is such Russia. Also, that this war about which they so easily speak, will not bring a victory to anybody. We cried with Gala when looked video "Remember me". How many lives it is necessary to throw down on an altar of the ambitions that to understand, that each life is important. To me it is thought, that all the countries (you forgive me for it!) see threat not there where it exists really. It not Russia. It is ECOLOGY! It is not necessary to declare war. War will declare itself. People will start to be at war for each drop of water and meal!!!

Hello friends

greatandhappy-1.jpg picture by bellevue30

We have wet snow today...Enjoy your weekend!

Hello! Preevet!

ïðèâåò

Dana, it so.A lot of fine and surprising it is possible to see living in Russia.
You can go from city in city and see improbable distinction, surprising beauty not only architecture, but traditions, crafts...
Each area has the history, the surprising historical crafts.
Here we have shown, only a small part of that is in Russia.

Mila's husband when veins in Moscow before wedding has been surprised, that Russian militia speaks in English. )))
He has come home and became delightfully to speak, that when they with the friend have lost the way in Moscow, many Russian and even militiamen began to explain to them how correctly to reach to the necessary historical place.

Many people speak in Russia well in several languages. Not all certainly. There are such lazy people, as I are for example!)))

Dovubreh ootrah, moi tovarishii, kak dila? Good morning, my comrades, what's happening?

A cloudy and mild morning here; we have had a lot or wind and rain and a few sun breaks lately; more rain will come for the next several days while the snow is already getting deep in the mountains a short distance up the road.  There was even a small tornado that damaged several homes at the town where my mom last lived on the coast.  That was late Friday evening.  So weather here is being wild.

Pam, Russia is cold during winter but Iowa is usually colder than either Moscow or St. Petersburg, and Moscow can often be stifling in the summer with temperatures soaring into the 90s and maybe 100 or so, farenheit.  In the south near the Black Sea where Pavel lives in Sochi and Rostov-na-Donu, they grow oranges and other citrus fruit, and there are places where they raise cotton.  So, like time zones and ethnicity, climate varies greatly from region to region.  If you get the chance to go sometime, seize it.  There is one trip that I hope to take yet, and that is ride the Trans-Siberian Express all the way from Vladivostok on the Pacific Ocean to St. Petersburg on the Baltic; a trip of 21 days and 22 nights, and for only about $2200 US per person.  It is the best way that I know to experience the beauty and variety of all Russia.  But to truly know Russia, one must live there and experience life as the Russians do.  I was confined to Moscow and did not have the opportunity to travel as I wished, but even so, there was so much to see and do that I was never bored; I even found the militia (police) to be congenial hosts.

Good morning World!!!)))

hello

Hello Friends! Have a great day!)))

No, Flo, I am here.

I am sorry, I study now! It is madly busy!
Ken, by the way Lida has got on it, without assistance. )))

This post was modified from its original form on 10 Nov, 22:16

Wow Dana, did you see that? Lidiya is part of a monument in Madrid. LOL

It looks like a enjoyable time and I'll bet quite an experience.

5Russia must be an amazing country. I know it is so full of beautiful culture and scenery. I have never yearned to visit because I like warm places and I have always thought of Russia as a cold temperature place. My goodness 11 time zones! That is an amazing fact! I have known a few wonderful friends with family born in Russia and loved to listen to their stories about their Russia and could hear the yearning in their voices of how much they treausred and wanted to go see it. Hope you all have a good Tuesday.

Thanks, Dana! Yes all was magnificent. I have found this monument in Madrid at last

Ha ha ha)))

Hello, my Friends! It's me and monument of Servantes in Madrid

hello

Amen to that, Brother; amen.

This group has been a place that might not be active constantly yet it always has been one that most would not like to see end. It's like sooner or later there'll always be an old friend dropping in to say "Hi." I don't think that will change.

Peace

Thanks Ken; your words mean a lot to me.  I agree; Russia is a land of beauty and tremendous ethnic cultures. Did you know that Russia spans eleven time zones?  I miss being there so much.  When I was in Moscow walking the streets my ancestors walked, I had this unshakeble feeling that I was home.  Well, I guess that is true for me where I am now, also; walking the streets where the ancestors on my mother's side once walked.   They don't go back as far in time as they did on my dad's side in Russia but, the mid-1800s is a back a bit and is connected to a lot of good ol' pioneer history.  My family first arrived in the Oregon territory in 1846, so my connection with Oregon is as strong as the tie to Russia, and my personal DNA is in both of those histories.  Even where I live now, if members of the Russian-American Fur Company had beat John Jacob Astor to where Astoria, Oregon now stands and if Russia had not sold Alaska to the United States in 1867, I might well be living in Russian territory today.  Wouldn't that be a hoot if Russia actually shared a border with the States as do Canada and Mexico?  I wonder how many other flukes of history have changed the face of the world as we know it.  It is kind of fun to ponder.

I'd sure feel kind of lost with you or others leaving this group Dana. It's those "hello's" every now and then that offer a little sunshine in life. This group has been a great connection with another part of the world leaving me feel like it's more like a close neighborhood that I've connected with. I do appreciate the news and views from Russia plus I'm amazed at Russia's beauty. Russia's history interests me also as I see shows on Public TV that are interesting.

So I'm glad nobody's leaving and hope everybody is doing well.

Cheer Dana and Gala,Russia. I am so glad you are staying.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone!

Privet, Lidiya!  Welcome home; how was Spain and the tour?  I missed you.

Lady F, Gala is not leaving Care2...it was me, and I'm not.  I love this group and all of you too much, it seems.  Besides, my personal page is way too cool to have it deleted LOL.  No, I will stay, and Gala will stay.  We will all stay

Today is very pretty and nice morning after heavy rain yesterday and through the night.  Brilliant sunshine right now and balmy temperature. Waves along the coast were over 8 meters (27 feet) high and crashing high upon the shore. winds were reported at near 144 klm (90 mph) but surprisingly little damage except for many trees and power lines down and a balcony on a hotel collapsed and six people fell into the sea; miraculously none were injured.

Now I must have my breakfast of tea and toasted bagel. Poka, moi tovarishii.

Have a good Friday evening

Well Gala, you  leave Care2,right,I'll miss you darling...I understand you...Take care my friend..HugsJust_saying_hi.jpg picture by bellevue30

Hello, my Friends!

Happy halloween!
hello

I'm sure it does Dana but I would like to hear about it from others in different countries than the U.S. My reason for this is that the news today tells about all kind of deaths in other countries our U.S. government is trying to occupy along with our own Hillary Clinton being in Pakistan making a statement like the terrorist think they have all the answers. I know Russia along with other countries have paid a big price for our denial of being responsible and accountable for managing our own country so personally thought it might be better to bring something like this up with hopes that it could force our U.S. to wake up to the damage we're doing to others in the world just like the damage we've done to ourselves by avoiding dealing with things like this before they go so out of hand.

You are a host so maybe you and the other hosts could discuss this with each other and if you think this is not a good idea just delete my posts. I can handle your decisions about doing what hosts think is right for the group.

It's cool here this morning along with strong winds. It's not a gym day for me so with riding a bicycle for transportation that'll make this a good stay at home day.

Hope everybody is doing well.

Good morning all!

Stuff like that happens all the time all over the world.  This one just happened to catch the national medias eye.

A chilly morning here; 37 F/3 C.  Will be sunny and partly cloudy throughout the day.  Yesterday not too bad but heavy rain at times.  Tomorrow will be rain again.  Hope it is a nice day where you all are.

Good Evening here,
That's a cool picture of the Harley Lady F. The woman reminds me of an artist who used to paint nudes. His name was Vargus and his art was suggestive without looking obscene. I duplicated a couple of his paintings on motorcycle tanks.

Hey I'm wondering if you have any trouble like this in Russia or other countries. A 15 year old girl was gang raped after a school dance on he school grounds for 2 1/2 hours. One news article tells how more than two dozen people stood around watching this and nobody did anything to stop it. It's really disgusting to see stuff like that happen and it seems like there's more like this happening a lot now days.

Are other countries having troubles with things this disgusting?

Cooling off here along with lots of wind. Sure hope Pavel shows up pretty soon so I can see the latest model fireplaces he handles. LOL

Hope everybody is doing well.

Hello Gala,Mila,Dana,Ken...enjoy your time!

Wishing my Russian friends much love and happiness. I appreciate that you share your culture - I am so much richer for being a member.

Russia-St Petersburg-Catherine Palace (inside view)

Oh, yes, I understand Gala!
Cold war has ended, but around of Russia the new wall has grown from military bases, rocket installations and radars. What has changed as a matter of fact? I think anything!

Gala, but we have got used and were already in a similar situation.

We shall sustain, the truth?!)))
Russia was and is now and will be the Great country and whatever spoke, as though did not wish to change it is cannot be changed!)))

Hello, my Friends! Hello Flo, Ken, Gala!))) Hello group...

hello

Many of us living in the US are used to comments like those used in the video. I didn't watch it because it's a waste of time to get upset about stuff like that. It's just a part of everyday life in this country. I mean I've had my own daughter make remarks that were deep cutting in the same way. People do this stuff to pull other's strings. It simply control and manipulation. There are some in these Care2 groups that have been doing this for years and they have never changed. I watch other's think they're going to change them but all they end up doing is getting suckered in to a worthless argument. mean our last president did this sort of thing constantly and the people enabled him to be president not just once but twice. Surely other countries have to be able to see through that!

Gala I like you

fr47.jpg picture by bellevue30

Don't be so upset,we know everything and take easy and time to you...your group is open...We know the truth....Have a relaxed weekend Russia! We need all.

...informational pool pollute Russia to a lesser degree, than any other country beginning from the old Europe and finishing America.
Russia is more than year tried to explain, that our country protected people of Ossetia instead of attacked. Russia protected those who has got under destructive fire - children, women and men. But neither the European mass-media, nor American did not hear and did not wish to listen to a voice of Russia.
However the Eurocommission spent investigation has proved fault of Georgia.
But any country, any mass-media has not brought an apology for groundless charge to address of Russia.
We rescueed the Europe from hitlerite destruction. Now our victory try to select. Our country try to present an aggressor.
The country which has lost in war more than 40 million.
The country which named barbarous! People of this country burnt in furnaces and gas chambers, both in the West, and in the east!!!
Us name barbarians and now!

Moreover we have pigs of the faces...

You speak propagation?
Why?
Why I ask to myself a question, the information of the western mass-media is the information, and the information of the Russian mass-media is a propagation?
Why?
Why?
Why Yugoslavia this rescue?
And Ossetia is aggression?

Yes, the communistic government wanted, that we (simple people) did not know the western way of life, their culture, tradition and customs.
Us learned to hate the West and America. But...
We loved the world, America and the West!!! We simple people knew all songs, musical groups, writers and scientists of the world.
You learned to hate Russia also. Your fear till now flows in your veins!
For this reason such attitude to Russia!!!

Check up the knowledge of Russia?
Name even one group in Russia 70-80 years! And you are surprised!
Then that it as not propagation approved to your government?

In Russia exists hundreds clubs devoted to group Gearg Ots, Joe Dassin,

Paul Mauriat, Eagles, Abba, Pink Fouid, Michael Jackson....

When Michael has died we experienced its death as own to mountain...

We knew all Hollywood actors, actors of France, India, Germany, we looked films on 100 times, we quoted films...

Check up, what you know about Russia?
How it is possible to judge people and the country not know it?

Hello.  Havn't been on line much the last many days; busy buying antiques from the Victorian era and converting one spare bedroom into my prayer sanctuary.  Adding nice molding and shelves for icons, etc.  It is a big project.

I looked at the RT video report and was not surprised by the comments.  As far as I could tell, none were by Americans, not that it matters. Hatred is hatred, no matter who spouts it.  There will always be those who will not see reason.  I have given up on trying to change the world.  Instead, I will look inward to the desert of my heart and it is there that the healing fountains will start and it is there, through inner prayer, that I will find serenity.  In the world, I will always be disappointed.

God bless Russia; God bless America; God bless Serbia, Ukraine, and Georgia.  God bless us all.  And may there be peace in our life times.

It's sad and sick. I can completely understand how you feel Gala. Our US is so full of this type of behavior that it's over ridden any chance of common sense ever entering in to the minds of the citizens here. I posted on another group after the previous poster let me know the he disagreed with me, "That's all we ever do in the US is disagree. I seriously doubt where you or others in this group could show me where we agree on anything in the US and to think we want the rest of the world to adapt to our culture is sickening." Needless to say there has been no reply in three days on that post.
Our last president clearly had a dysfunctional behavior which I related to his past drinking and drug use. The problem is that our society in the US enables these dysfunctional behaviors to lead this country. They use nothing more then deceit and deception constantly but our population doesn't know the difference between that and the truth. That's one of the reasons I've always admired Putin. The more I read about him, the more I realized that this man was for the good of your country and its people. That can not be said for the US.
The crazy part of my life is that from the top to the bottom I think I've associated with all kinds of people in the US. At one time I did custom painting and eventually this led to doing work for Outlaw bikers. One of the first set of tanks I did were for a guy I never seen. Then once at a show a guy comes up to me to thank me for painting his tanks. I couldn't figure it out cause he was clean shaven and had a haircut, yet he wore the 'Outlaw' colors. When I asked about his appearance I was told he looked that way because he was on trial for murder. These guys were murders, drug dealers, pimps and just about everything terrible in society. The strange part about them though is I could always trust them. It's the people like the ones who wrote that stuff written to you that can't be trusted. I remember my family was being badly harassed and these bikers could see what it was doing to me. They asked for a list of names as there were about seven people involved. Because I could trust and respect these bad ass bikers I couldn't give them the names because just as they didn't want anything to happen to me I didn't want anything to happen to them.
It would be easy enough to go after those that wrote those words but is it worth stooping down to their level? I know I'm used to fighting and have gone after quite a few people just in these groups. Lately I can't see where they're worth it anymore. It's like their childish behavior is their problem so why make it ours. It's like a sign in the zoo, "Don't feed the animals!"
You've been a special friend Gala and I wish this would've never happened. Be thankful for your Russia as I haven't ever seen people from there doing this sort of thing. This reminds me of a show where a boy in Russia said something like, "I don't think the US democracy is for Russia." He makes a good point. I know one thing, I've grown found of your country from the sharing you've done with us so I'm sorry to see our US character had to show its ugly hand this way.

Amazing how political propaganda and cinematography intertwined in any country in any elite establishment, U.S. and Russia both use their film establishment to pollute the informational pool.

Hello all!
After this comment on youtube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItbXfYr7NLA&feature=channel
"usafya (44 min. ago)
I too say %#&!*% YOU RUSSIA!!!))) Stop panicking Russkis, the whole world knows you are savage barbaric nation that is good only for invading neighboring countries, this movie will show your pig face to the world one more time))))"

And it after the Eurocommission has completely recognized fault of Georgia in war with Ossetia!

I do not see sense more to speak about Russia.
I do not see sense more to tell about history and culture of my country.
If people wish to see white as black all of them will equally see black.
Farewell, my friends!

I am proud of my "barbarous" country and I love my Great Russia madly!
I shall not exchange it for one state of the world, never!

Hi all,
So far I feel good but our news reported two pregnant women died here with the swine flu. I'm pretty active riding a bicycle and going to a gym every other day which I think helps a lot.

Sorry to hear about Dana being sick. Tell him we wish him the best on his road to getting better. Of course our football team wasn't to nice to his so I would guess if he was better he'd have a thing or two to say to me about that. LOL

Mila, that dress color really looks nice on you. I sort of thought Paul dropped out when he left as host and some of the others did also. Care2 groups don't seem to last very long but I seen other places on the Internet do the same thing. Pam, you can send some of that rain to Arizona if you got to much where you're at. We always have a shortage of rain here.

We go down to about 18c at night here and around 30c during the day so it's a nice time of the year for us.

Politics is getting to depressing as our US keeps playing the same deceitful games over and over again and again. Todays news told about our vice president was in Poland assuring them about a the missile defense system again. It wasn't to long ago there wasn't going to be one so that's what I find depressing about our government. They don't give anybody anything to trust or respect.

Here's hoping everybody is doing well and stays healthy,
Peace

Hello, my Friends!

Hello Pam, my darling! As it is much closed schools...

Yes, this virus very heavy. Interestingly Dana is ill? He was not in group for a long time already...
Ken you hurted also?(((

hello

8

It's raining this morning and today was suppose to be 70 degree's. I hope the rain stops so the yard can be mowed one last time this year. It sure needs it. There are more then 25 schools currently closed for the rest of the week around me because of the flu! The hospitals are standing room only in emergency! So far all the children in my family are not sick with it. They say it's not the H1N1 virus but another that is affecting the area.

Hope you all have a nice day today.

Hello, my Friends! Hello Flo, Ken, Gala!))) Hello group...

gd

Yes Ken you are right. Politicians and people are engaged in strange things. They do not see priorities. We cannot give to drink the children and grandsons in 17 years. We shall not know, than to feed them. We shall be ready to give everything, that we have for a drop of water and a crumb of bread. It is sad actually.

Weather cold in Russia already a minus 1 on Celsius.

Where is Dana, Pavel, Tom, Margaret and other members of group. I miss...

Somebody writes Paul? How he lives interestingly?

I wrote Margaret, but she does not answer.....

Good day, my lovely Friends!

gday

Good Morning Gala and everybody,
We got warm weather here again but this is probably the last of it. Fortunately I got some painting done before it cools off so I was thankful for the weather.
Gees, world news is depressing. There's nothing but fighting going on all over the world. I don't know about others living in the US but for me I grew up seeing my mother and father fighting. It seems life would get to a point where people would want to get along, not only in their personal relationships but in their worldly ones also. I guess we're so programed to fight that's all we humans know now. It's sure disgusting to me but at least it makes me appreciate my dog and cat more. Maybe it's time to let them lead for a while.
It's time to go get some things done as I've been pretty lax lately with accomplishing things I'd like to get done. Hope everybody is doing well.

Pam, Florika hello!)))
Where are you all??? MISSSSSSSSS

Good morning, good day, good night, my Friends!#29
