TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord's return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen."
(James 5:7, NLT)
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
God has put dreams and desires in every person's heart. But most of the time, there's a season of waiting involved. Maybe you're waiting for a relationship to improve; waiting to get married; waiting for a promotion; or waiting to overcome an illness. Much of life is spent waiting. But there's a right way to wait, and there's a wrong way to wait. Too often, when things don't happen on our timetable, we get down and discouraged or anxious and fretful. That's because were not waiting the right way.
Notice that today's verse doesn't say if you wait, it says as you wait. The fact is we're all going to wait. It goes on to say that we should consider how the farmer waits
atiently and eagerly. We're not supposed to sit around discouraged; we're supposed to be hopeful, positive, and full of expectancy!
Today, no matter what you are believing for, expect things to change in your favor. Today could be the day that God turns it all around. As you wait with patience and expectancy, you'll open the door for God to move. He'll fight your battles, and you'll see that abundant harvest He's promised in every area of your life.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, today I choose to wait expectantly for You. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I put my trust and hope in You knowing that You have good things in store for my future. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name"
(Hebrews 13:15, NLT)
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Praise is a powerful weapon. Many times in the Old Testament when God's people would go into battle, they would send the worshipers out first. That's because praise precedes the victory. When you live a life that offers Him continual praise, you are setting yourself up to see continual victory.
Praise is more than just singing songs in church on Sunday. In fact, praise isn't even about singing songs. Praise is a heart attitude. Praise in your heart will prompt singing, but it can also manifest in many different ways. You can give Him praise in your words, your actions, and the way you live your daily life. Every time you obey His Word, when you continually follow His commandseven when it's uncomfortable, even when we don't feel like it, even when we are tired that's offering a sacrifice of praise to Him.
As you go throughout your day, take time to acknowledge Him. Remember to put Him first and continually offer Him praise. As your praise goes up, His blessings come down. His peace comes down. His joy, His strength, and His victory will overtake every area of your life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father in heaven, today I choose to offer You continual praise. I choose to follow Your Word so that You may be glorified through me. Let everything within me honor and glorify You. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit"
(Galatians 6:9, the Message)
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
God has put dreams and desires in every person's heart. We all have goals we want to accomplish and situations we are believing will be turned around. Sometimes it seems to take longer than we thought. Sometimes things don't work out the way we planned, and it's easy to lose enthusiasm. Negative thoughts come to us that say, "It's never going to change." "You're never going to get well." "You're never going to get out of debt." If we're not careful, we'll get discouraged and end up just settling where we are. Many times, people miss out on God's best simply because they give up too soon. They don't realize how close they are to their victory.
Friend, don't let that be you today! Don't give up just because things seem hard. You are closer than you think! You've invested so much and you never know, just another few more days of believing, another few weeks of doing the right thing, another few months of staying in faith, and you could see that situation turn around. Remember, God is on your side! Keep standing and keep believing because you are closer than you think to fulfilling every desire He's placed inside of you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, today I come to You again, believing that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your strength to keep moving forward into the place of victory You have for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"And I will make My covenant (solemn pledge) between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly"
(Genesis 17:2, AMP)
God is in the multiplication business. It doesn't matter what your need is today, God wants to increase you.
One time in the Old Testament, God simply multiplied the sound of four men's footsteps and caused them to sound like a mighty army. When their enemies heard them coming, they took off running. Thousands of people, thousands of troops running for their lives, scared to death, thinking they were being attacked by a massive army, when in fact, it was just four people.
Friend, God can make you seem bigger than you really are. He can make you look more powerful. He knows how to multiply your influence, your strength, your talent. He can multiply your income or whatever else you need! You don't have to figure it all out. All you have to do is believe. If you will release your faith and get up every day expecting God's far and beyond favor, then you're going to see God show up and do amazing things. Hell bless you beyond your wildest dreams and multiply you in every area of your life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Thank You for Your promise to bless and multiply me. Direct my steps and keep me close to You as I stand in faith for the good things You have in store for me. In Jesus Name. Amen."
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe"
(Proverbs 29:25, NIV)
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Fear is one of the enemy's favorite tools to keep us from going forward in our lives. As soon as we make a decision to step out in faith and do what God is telling us to do, immediately the enemy will bring fear. He'll put thoughts in your mind like, "What if I fail? What will others think? Maybe I don't have what it takes." He'll do his best to use fear to try to convince you to shrink back and just stay right where you are.
The Bible tells us that fear is a spirit. It affects your emotions. But when you choose to put your trust in the Lord, no matter how you are feeling, you are combating fear.
Today, I encourage you, don't allow fear to trap you and hold you back. Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, I choose to put my trust in You. I choose to press forward and overcome fear. I believe You have my best interest at heart and know that You are leading me in the paths of righteousness all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run; hurry and scurry puts you further behind"
(Proverbs 21:5, Message)
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
One thing I've learned is that success is not accidental. You're not going to accidentally accomplish your dreams. You don't accidentally have good relationships. You won't accidentally lose twenty pounds. You have to have a plan. If you're going to get to the right destination, you've got to know where youre going and how you are going to get there.
If you've ever been at the beach just floating in the water and relaxing, you'll notice that after a while, the current will take you far away. That's how it is in life, too. If you don't have clear-cut goals with a plan in place to accomplish those goals, you're not going to end up at the right place. You'll just float around in life easily distracted not knowing where you're headed.
Today, I encourage you to examine where you are in life. What are your goals? What is your plan? Maybe your first goal needs to be to make a plan. Do some research. Talk to people who have been successful at what you are trying to do. Ask the Lord to guide your steps and connect you with the right people. As you step in faith to accomplish your goals, I believe God will pour out His favor so that you can experience His supernatural blessing on everything you set your hand to.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father in heaven, I commit everything I am to You today. Direct my steps. Order my destiny. Give me the plan to accomplish every dream and desire You've placed within me. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. "
(Hebrews 11:1, NKJVT)
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Are you expecting your dreams to come true? It's important to look beyond present circumstances and believe for God's best. Someone battling sickness may say, "I could never be healthy." Or, "This report from the doctor says too many things are wrong with me." What they don't realize is their lack of faith is holding them back from receiving God's best. They allow adversities to keep them from moving forward. And that's just what the enemy wants, to keep your dreams from taking root and being fulfilled.
Our God-given dreams are like seeds planted deep within our hearts. For those dreams to grow, they must take root. Having faith for your dream means you believe it on the inside before it takes place on the outside. In other words, you've got to see those dreams coming to pass no matter what's going on around you.
Get a vision on the inside of what God wants for you. He wants you to accomplish the plans He's put in your heart. Look out through eyes of faith and see your dreams coming to pass. See yourself walking in abundance in every area of life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, I know what you've put on the inside of me. By faith I see the dreams you've given me coming to pass, no matter what my circumstances are. I am full of Your power and I'm ready to become everything you created me to be. In Jesus' Name. Amen"
Your Appointed Time TODAY'S SCRIPTURE "For the vision is yet for an appointed time though it tarry, wait for it" (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV) TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria God has an appointed time to fulfill the visions, dreams, and desires in your heart. Just because it has taken a long time or because you've tried and failed, doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Don't give up on those dreams! Don't be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. Our God is a faithful God. No matter how long it's been, no matter how impossible things looks, if you'll stay in faith, your appointed time is coming. Remember, every dream that's in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God put it in there. And not only that, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass. Hold on to that vision today by declaring, "My time is coming. God is working behind the scenes on my behalf. I will fulfill my destiny!" As you continue to hold on to that vision and speak life over your dreams, you'll see them begin to take shape. You'll see your faith grow, you'll see your hope strengthen, and you'll see yourself step into the destiny God has prepared for you! A PRAYER FOR TODAY "Father in heaven, I receive Your truth today. I receive Your promises today. I ask that You ignite my heart with Your holy fire so that I can pursue Your perfect plan for my life. Make my thoughts and words agreeable to Your will. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
