Hello Everyone!! We are in the middle of a winter storm!!
It started last night and is supposed to continue through
Sunday! Of course Rachel works today so I have already
been out driving and sliding! Wishing you a wonderful

yet!! I did some yesterday but I still have a few things to

The children are happy this morning as we had a couple inches of snow over night.  Fresh snowfall is so beautiful. 

Do you have all of your shopping done?  I still have a few more things to try to find, in our family  there is usually one child who asks for the ever elusive gift.

Good Morning to all! It is another frigid day..BRR!
Today I have to do  laundry and run a few errands..
it was nice to nothing much yesterday! Hope you

Tomorrow is Rachel's last day of school before her

settled down. Today we are to get snow mixed with rain!

It's the freezin' season here it MI. 

We had quite a storm with high winds and blowing snow.

  It is bitter cold here.  Not the kind of weather for outdoor

activities unless your a child and they do not seem to mind.

Sweet Dreams Everyone! It has been so cold and windy
the past 2 days. 10 degrees this morning with snow and
icy roads. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed again!!
It will take me another day or two to get my house back
in order. There is too much running around to do and not

We did get some snow last evening.  Not the amount that they were predicting.  Weatherman says high winds today, up to 50 mph.  I have to go out so I will be doing so with great caution.  I hope you are all having a great week.  Sending hugs.

It looks as though winter will arrive with a flourish over the next few days.  We are under a winter storm advisory.  Some places in lower MI will get up to 2 feet of snow.

Good Monday to everyone.  It has been a very busy week-end for us as we had friends from Care2 in our home for lunch yesterday and it was awesome to finally put a face on these these wonderful folks.  I wish we could all get together at some central location and really get to know each other.

Conni my daughter has a herd of deer who come into her yard all the time and they have gotten so familiar with people they are not spooked at all they just look up and keep on eating.  She also has a bunch of wild turkeys and they are huge.  I love to go there and just watch them.

Hello to everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a good start!!
This morning it snowed for about an hour but it didn't stick! I
 got an e-mail from brother who has been in Peru for the past
 2 days. They have seen beautiful scenery and birds, whales
 & other animals. Of course it is nice and warm but they are
 headed for colder weather. There have been an abundance
 of deer here in the yard..the neighbor lady puts out corn and
I put out apples for them. They are so beautiful! Hope you

Hello to all! Wishing you a happy Friday the 13th!
It is another nice day! I need to run to the store to
 get some eggs so I can start baking cupcakes for
 Rachel's  Bday party tomorrow! I am still getting her
a cake but I thought the teenagers could devour the
 cupcakes and the cake is more of a family thing. The
 party is outdoors and there are 2 shelters ...I am sure
 the kids will hang out in one while the adults will be
 in the other one..a little  further away from the music!!

Hello Conni and Jean and all who stop by. Conni my daughter received a 100.00 ticket for going 2 miles over the speed limit and she was going downhill! These states and cities are really throwing their weight around. My 6 year old grandson kept telling the police man to be nice to his mom! My daugher was so mad. She paid it and it was hard for her too. It was right at school time when things needed to be bought. Jean how's Lansing today? The sun is shining here and the sunset last night was so pretty. Jean, good to see you! It seems like those
bills never go away do they! Today I got a
ticket for going 8 miles over the speed limit.
It is the first offense I have ever had and he
fined me $100.00!!! I have no idea where that
money is going to come from! If I go to court
hen I will have to pay court fees too. He gave
me until Dec 3rd to pay it...guess that will cut

I hope your weekend has been good one! Yesterday
I cut grass, I did some  clean up around the house & 
spent time on the computer. I did go to the store to
get some decorations for Rachel's birthday party. All
in all it was a stress free day! I really  needed one!!
Two weeks from today I go back to my brother's for
another month to dog sit and run the  trucking biz.
Yes they are going on another cruise!! This time to
Central & South America! They will get back  late in
the evening on 12/23. Guess I won't have to put  up
Christmas decorations this year!
