Brainstorming! Ideas to help get the word out. March 26, 2007 6:39 AM

I would post all articles relating to your case, and a rebuttal at the bottom correcting anything that was not factual in the article.  [ send green star]

Paul, i know this is going to sound scary, but i think you should consider writing to the F.B.I. about this case. I posted a template on the 'Other petitions' thread. Something to consider.  [ send green star]

Paul... April 18, 2007 8:32 PM

Suggestions-

Since you have the world wide web at your finger tips... Gathering as much legal documentation as possible, create a website  (you can use a free website host) Then place it on hundreds of search engines. Paul should write/blog on the site about the case, his conviction, time served, and his plight for justice. Keep it as factual as possible. Ofcourse put your petition on it.

You could also take the petition and link to the website and post it on other activist networks on the internet.

Once you've created a good website and spread the word around the activist circuit online, contacting newspapers, tv stations, radio stations, anyone who you know will discuss controversal injustices.

I am not sure about contacting the FBI but contacting the Department of Justice would also be a good idea.

Good suggestions Barb P! Paul is working on a petition for the Att. General as well, since he's considering meeting with Paul in the future.

Just a note: The FBI is under the Department of Justice, same thing.

lol   You are correct they are under the Department of Justice, but the FBI really does not have a department that would be able to assist him.

If he would like the contact info for who to contact at the Department of Justice, he can let me know and I will get it to him as soon as I can.

Good night

Oh..... well this case involves corruption why wouldn't they handle it?   http://www.fbi.gov/hq.htm

There's a petition/letter on another thread asking the FBI investigate all accusations of corruption, please stop by and take a look.

A contact sounds fabulous..please send to Paul when you can.

I really believe in petitions and letters and phone calls.  The website idea sounds fantastic too.   Sorry to hear that they were not responsive Paul.  Maybe a petition that is pages long will get their attention!  [report anonymous abuse]

OOPPSS April 20, 2007 6:23 AM

I just answered my own question...sorry.  Paul, I did sign your petition a few weeks back.  NOTHING ABOUT THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM SURPRISES ME.  I was an administration of justice major (psych minor) in college.  I wanted to work in corrections and help people change their lives.  However, my life took an ugly turn and I got into drugs.  Long story short, is I got on the other side of the fence...jail a few times, etc.  I was appalled by the stuff that happens in institutions across the United States, particularly to women.

Anyways, if I can help in any way, please let me know.  I will try to do some research.  But I do know one thing...don't give up.  That's what they are counting on!!!  They want you to shut up and go away, because the court system doesn't make mistakes (hahaha!)

Goodmorning April 20, 2007 6:28 AM

Goodmorning my friends,

Great idea Barb.  A website will reach millions of people.  And that is whom the government doesnt want to have to deal with....millions.  So I would say a website with both petitions on them would be an excellent idea.  I have recruited a cold case detective to help me with this also.  He is an expert in solving or trying to solve murders where no one has ever been arrested and charged.  His avenues of information is a great one, so maybe he will be able to come up with a few ideas for us to follow.

My weekend started yesterday evening about 2pm and I am off for another long 15 plus hour day.  Weekends are horrendous because groups think we cops take those days off and they have free rein.  Well, I guess they are wrong.  LOL  So I will be off and on for then next couple of days and will update you on anything I find out.

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend...be careful out there.

Love & Hugs... Allie
