Anyone that has a petition or a link to a petition can post it here for quicker access. That way it won't get lost within the other threads. Here is our first one from June. Thank you, June.
Saw this petition but didn't know were to put it? Sorry if I have the wrong thread.
Sponsored by: National Wildlife Federation
For America's wild bison to recover, the majestic species needs safe lands to roam. A new series of extreme bills in Montana threaten native safe habitat; some dangerous anti-bison bills would allow people to kill any that stray off protected lands. The bills could be passed by the Montana state legislature any day now.
Goal: 50,000 • Progress: 27,950
thanks for caring so much,Junee
and for all your help and concern, Vicky
Vicky, looked at the other threads + couldn't figure were to put it
June, that is perfectly okay. It can stay there and I only reposted here because you gave me an idea to open a petition thread and people might come here when they see 'petition'. thank you!
The Fish and Wildlife Service recently recommended that the Agricultural Research Service close high altitude pastures to domestic sheep grazing in order to protect grizzly bears from unnecessary mortality.
Please ask Secretary Vilsack to take the Fish and Wildlife Service’s advice and close these areas to protect Greater Yellowstone's last remaining grizzly bears.
Yellowstone National Park is home to the last remaining, continuously wild American plains bison herd in the world. Yellowstone’s bison are a living representation of America’s heritage and are an icon--not only of Yellowstone but of the entire National Park System. Today we have an opportunity to assure these living treasures are better managed for future generations.
got that room to roam email, and was happy that you posted it.
am without a working pc at the moment.
Thanks, signed all I could.
Thanks so much June for posting the petitions. I haven't signed yet but I will definitely come back and do so!

...wierd,for some reason I want to call you Vivien. You look like a Vivien I guess.Never mind,I get odd thoughts in my mind all the time.Have a good day, every one.
My bad.in my exuberance to post this good news, I put it in the wrong place.
Sorry, kk no petition.
Thanks for signing June & Kaya. Kaya my real name is Vivian!! I was named after Vivien Leigh only it's spelled different! I guess you are a psychic.
WOW, JUST WOW!
I have some new bison news to post and darn Care2 is screwing up AGAIN! Most of the article won't post! When will they ever get their act together and fix what needs to be fixed and quit 'upgrading'! Sigh
More like down grading, care 2 is a pain in the a$$ at times.
Vicky,I am sorry.I thought it is just a mistake with the name. Not a phycic.....
Why do people have to hurt and kill things?????
I do not get it.
I hope that hhese petitions help.
Hugs to every one!
I'm sorry June, but when I went back to sign the petitions you posted, they were finished. I guess I was a day late and a dollar short. :(
For many years, wild bison in Montana have been unnecessarily attacked and killed by ranchers and have received no support from state and federal government agencies. The bison that reside in Yellowstone National Park are the only wild population left due to the mass slaughter of these creatures, and though they are a protected species in the park, any bison that roam outside the Yellowstone borders are continually killed. Urge the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks (MFWP) to expand the habitat for these bison and make it illegal to hunt and kill them outside of Yellowstone National Park.
Signed June! It's pathetic that these ancient creatures are limited to a small area of Yellowstone Park.
Signed petition and thanks. I like the Force Change petitions the best, they are easy and quick to complete.
Shutdown is affecting the parks..Yosemite is closed, wonder what will happen to the bison?
Time will tell you tas
Siuxze, there is a petition on here for keep the parks open. You may be able to search and find it,better to do some thing than no thing.
Yellowstone's iconic buffalo population numbers about 3,000 animals, and it is the only continuously wild, free-roaming population that remains in the United States. And while almost all of the buffalo in America have some cattle genes, the buffalo in Yellowstone do not. As such, they are critically important for the long-term conservation of the species.

I was signer #500, didn't have the time to post earlier
signed it june....thank you.
Took action today. Such a disturbing picture to see them herded like that. Now #857 signers. Thanks June.
Thanks Carlene for taking action. I'm glad there are more signers....it is so cruel to see the buffs hazed...especially newborn babies that are run til they drop. Some are only an hour old. Shameful!
Signed. Did you see the article about the seismic activity being seen in Yellowstone? They say there hasn't been this kind of activity in many years. If it blows, it will devastate the US, a 1,000 times more powerful than Mt. Helens. Let's hope it takes many many more years before it does, but one never knows. I lived in WA when Helens blew. It was a couple months after I had returned to my then home town from Vancouver, after being in Vancouver because a boyfriend at the time was working with the company putting up fence around the Red Zone area of St. Helens before she blew. That ash still spread for miles and miles. I can imagine Yellowstone going!
Mount Helens affected areas far away, I was in Maine at the time, and it didn't snow for three years, it was blamed on st.Helens¿
Join me in praying that nothing blows in Yellowstone. The results will be beyond comprehension with so much loss of life (both human and animal) and also forests.
A full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano would dump a 10 foot deep layer of volcanic ash up to 1,000 miles away, and it would render much of the United States uninhabitable. When most Americans think of Yellowstone, they tend to conjure up images of Yogi Bear and “Old Faithful”, but the truth is that sleeping underneath Yellowstone is a volcanic beast that could destroy our nation in a single day and now that beast is starting to wake up.
thanks for sharing Vicky
Scary isn't it June?
Agree Vicky, mother nature is a zillion times stronger than any man made weapons of mass destruction could be.

Help protect Greater Yellowstone's grizzly bears!
You have already taken action on this alert.
Thanks buffs for signing (I love the name you gave us TAS/Souixz). Marie, just in case you didn't understand TAS's directions of cutting and pasting, here is the link which I've made clickable for you. Ooops, when I clicked it said it is no longer available. However, there are other petitions on that site you can sign. Thanks Gabra for sharing the link with us.
Thank you,Tasunka.I did them all, glad to have the opportunity.
It just drives me crazy to see what is being done to the bison. That poor baby, you could see something was wrong with his leg, and he was limping. It's uncalled for. Don't those cowboys have something better to do with their time?!
NO,Sherry, they have no useful purpose. That is why they are bullying these animals.BABYLONIANS!!!!!!!!!
Siouxze,I did those things you posted, but am not comprehending the last one?
Just to let you know that I am on the email list for Buffalo Field and sign all the petitions I can. It is sad to know the animals are being harrassed like they are and we must do all we can to stop it.
I also wrote our SA editor. I think I got them all, except one of Junes that says it's no longer available.
we've got 3,161signatures, help us get to 5,000

Signed! There are now 310 signatures. I shared it on Facebook and Twitter.
SIGNED, adorable pic
I signed it,June.Thank you.
Just signed, #506
Signed for the grizzlies too. Even though that big Papa grizzly did reach in and claw the top of our car seat when we were sitting in it at Yellowstone, when I was young. True story. Don't feed the bears. They're swift. I and my Mom were lucky to still have a face when he wanted a fast other piece of bread. I'm sure if that's what he wanted, instead of the bread, he'd a had one of ours. Lucky for us.
THANK YOU JUNE.
TAS, on the CNN one it gave me problems trying to sign up so that I could vote. I love the second article...very, very informative! Does it appear to you that bison are making headway? I pray so. I love that November 4, 2013 is Nat'l Bison Day! BUT isn't Wyoming a state that doesn't want the free range bison? Was November 4th or 8th the day of this year the day that the Black Rhino became extinct? So sad.
Oh, thanks TAS for all the links you posted! I think I'll borrow them to post in another group....we can never spread the word too much.

Those stupid POS's, excuse me, but they get their sick thrills out of killing those beautiful animals. I wish they could round up each and every killer and take their guns away!
I know how you feel,Carlene, but we are doing what we can to help them,by signing the petitions, and taking any actions that we are able to do.Do not get upset, let us all just do what we can to help....I feel the same as you about any one kills for no reason.
I agree, carlene.i am not for taking guns away from level headed, law abiding citizens, but i am for taking guns away from jerks like this.
Here is an animal petition, not sure if it is ok for this thread? If not,go ahead andd move or delete it,i will not be offended,ok.
How can Bugs Bunny object to saving poor wittle wabbits?
thanks Gabra,already signed!
Signed there also, Gabra. I don't wear wool anyway, but this is just crazy how people can kill without a purpose. Yes, I have southern relatives who do hunt, only in deer hunt season though, live out in the woods, but once their fridge is taken care of, they give to places who do give it to those in need. It's not wasted. I wish guns could be taken away from criminals, gangs, nut jobs, but that's something that has never been done, and won't be. Soon as they did, they'd have them right back in their hands. The law abiding are the ones gone after, and trying to be gone after, unfortunately. It's the law abiding, people need with guns, but the thing being fought against, because they know criminals and gangs will never be without, and that they are the ones who love to especially target gun free zones.

Beautiful pix Tas. I hope everyone here has signed up to receive the Buffalo Field Campaign news letters. There is lots of information and ususally a new petition or two to sign. It's a great organization, IMO.
Gabra, I signed the agreement not to purchase anything containing angora and I will never wear a rabbit coat either. I shared the link on FB and Twitter. Thank you for posting the link for us.
TAS, thank you for link, too. If you see me posting the actual story don't feel bad...I've always done it (well I usually do it) because if people outside the group stop in they may not see your link. But we will so thanks for posting them.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!?!?!? HOW IN THE WORLD CAN ANY ONE DO THIS?!?!?!?!?!?!?THIS MADE ME CRY!!!!!!
I know,Kaya,it made me cry too. There is a special place in hell for people who do stuff like this. Thanks to you who sign and foreward it. I do not overstand why this is even legal in the first place.
Love you,all of you Buffs!!!!!!!
Do you know what is sad, too? Those stupid patrols haze not only adult buffs but babies that are only a few hours old. Just to imagine the poor things trying their best to keep up with their mothers..running as fast as their little legs will carry them. For miles and withut water. Makes me cry....such cruely and hatred is so uncalled for!
will sign any petitions you have....
I think if any petition needs to be signed in a hurry (if time is of the essence) that we should create an independent thread so that it will be noticed right away and can get immediate signatures. What do you think ladies?
Yes Vicky, I think that would be a good idea. Those crazy gun totting idiots ought to be shot at and chased themselves!
OF COURSE,YOU ARE SO DIPLOMATIC!!!
SORRY I MISSED YOU BEFORE KAYA, HUGS TO YOU AND ALL BUFFS!
Thanks for your input everybody. I agree Carlene....let's turn the tables and chase the 'hunters' and shoot them and see how THEY like it!
So, we'll continue to post our petitions here except if we need one signed in a hurry. We'll post it separate and put HURRY in the title, too.
It is a good idea to have a thread for the petitions, because that is the actual reason I am in this group,to help with this cause. When I look for petitions,it would be nice to know where can I look for them.
I'm so glad you're in the group to sign petitions, Kaya. Thank you!
