I ask you because when we are connected on care2, the petition looks opened, but when pêople are logged out, the petition is closed.

I know there are troubles with petitions, so as I'm refreshing the big list on myspace i would like to know if it is closed or not?

I'm sad too, to see everyday many petitions with only few signatures
As i often click on many ones, i see old petitions which have only 500 or 700 signatures by one year
But i wil lnever understand why 50000 people sign by one week (for example) petitions for baby seals , but for others animals they don't care...

It makes me remeber when some people (non animal activists lovers) told us, that we are sad watching killing of baby seals but they think we don't care for animals who are killed for meat or fur!!! It makes me angry hearing this !!

For me, there's no difference bewteen a seal, a pig, a cow a dog...
All animals are important and we care for all of them!

So, i think many people who are no animal lovers sign for baby seals, but they don't care for other animals...

But it will not discourage me, and i still spread and do all to help animals.

However some time ago I reported a glitch on thepetition site - when I was logged on all closed petitions were marked as open. To find out if a petition was closed or not I had to log out to check.
Care2 staff said it was fixed.

Veronica-I agree. Last week there were six thousand clicks for seals but only two thousand for tigers, which are much more endangered. We have a long way to go educating people. And the poor humane society has to beg for clicks. You are making a differnce even if its only to make us aware.

and this make me so very sad that sometimes i wonder why all this work?

Some of us spend all our time before the computer and try to do all our best for the poor animals, and thank you for this, feel so much appreciation for all your great work,

but the others,,,,seems to sleep....sorry, but i really dont understand...

As you see a petition which is so old has about 700 signatures for our neglected zoo animals and i assure you i never closed any petition,

may it be it's automatically closes after a time...? i dont know, i dont know the rules,how does it work,

it makes me so sad...i invited so many friends from FB to Care 2 and after seeng so slowly "moving' here, so "aslept "one....they left,,,,..... and this is a sad reality,

i find CARE 2 a wonderful site, really, i love it, b ut something doesnt work with the members....too passive in a world where we have to be active ones, in a cause which needs so much work as an animal cause...we are too, toooooo few,

again, all my thanks and appreciation and love to all the members of Animcord who are active members, maybe the passive ones will be upset on me,

i will never be a hypocrite, but they really deluse me, sorry, that is my reality,

i know there is needed much work, efforts, but animals have their little lives....good souls and we HAVE TO BE INVOLVED, much more INVOLVED...

it makes me disappointed when i see somany signatures or clicks for seals by a week and so few people signinf for other animals...
I think there's so much work yet to spread the world about animal cruelty..
There are too many people who don't know what happens in the world to animals, or maybe they don't want to care for other animals..
