The destiny of these dogs continues with us beeig there for them as much as we can. We have found a new location where we have moved a part of them but we still have dogs left to be moved. Obstacles are to be found every day. When things will settle down i will write their journal. So many times they have been in tremendously great danger and still they are so obedient even though they are a heterogeneous group, and they always support each other. Also, they are able to even calm down the one who dreams itself beeing a dictator even if sometimes figths might burst. Even so, they are still little innocent angels and they wait.. they are waiting so much

We have moved most of the dogs from Glina in their new house, we have only 50 left to be moved. The others, about another 50 dogs will be taken by the other girls into another location.

We also intend to take all the existing dogs at the flaying house’ bearings, since they’re definetelly not safe waiting for the yes or no verdict for euthanasy. They are captured without any legall base and some of them are even someone’s dogs that got lost and caught. The conditions there are horrible, they are crammed, splashed with water, and they are bearing the lack of food that exists only written on papers.. everything is so dreadfull in there.. please pray for them.

We would like to thank with all our heart mr Engin Gursoy that gave us 100 kg of dry food for the dogs.

About the 6 dogs that we thaught to be shut with bullets, the authopsy report showed that they were actually slaughtered with knives, that’s why we found so much blood. Seems that there were 2 people with an expensive car enjoying themselves by slaughtering the dogs. What do you think about this?

i am sorry to give you bad news, but unfortunatelly the situation in glina, romania doesn't look very good. Glina shelter is closing up soon unless by a miracle we could find the money to buy the land. Zdreanta association pays the rent now and most of the dogs there belong to zdreanta. We have found a new shelter to move the dogs but unfortunatelly more and more useless quarrels started by the other associations there burst every day, and this will only harm the dogs. that's why we have decided to make everything public, since we don't have anything to hide. the other associations try not to let us move the dogs and they even threat us that they could send the dogs to be killed at the flaying house. this is why i'm gonna post here some of the messages we have received from them. also, starting next week, pro tv television will monitorize the move of the dogs, so we hope we wouldn't find so many problems.

i would like to thank Monika for help and ask her to continue keeping her eyes on the subject.

Sorina Hanea from "Nu mai esti singur"(No more alone) association in one of the mails she gave us she recognizez that the dogs belong to Zdreanta association altough publicly she denies that.

next are passages from another mail we've received from Anda Murgu(written in blue):

Maybe you know that since December 1st 2007, Glina's dogs (about 400) have helped by "Nu Mai Esti Singur" and "Lamento Rumeno" associations that since November 1st 2007 has assured food for all dogs, doghouses for 130 dogs, a hut to lodge dog food and refuge for the workers, has assured us for free medical services and neuterings by veterinary clinic "Ortovet", money to carry food, bowls, buckets, straw for the dogs, food for the horse that has assured us water, etc.

We would like to say that all of these came by Zdreanta association, the people there are payed by zdreanta. also we brought food(bread, milk, cheese, meat), bones brought in snow storm conditions. also we brought straws for all the dogs there including theirs, not only for the dogs that belong to Zdreanta

"Lamento Rumeno" has given help at all dogs from Glina' shelter,through the building of a modern kennel, with permission, with all the necessary equipments, in Dor Marunt, at 80km from Bucharest. In the beginning this idea has appreciated by the majority of people that has dogs there, with the exception of Mrs. Dorojan and Mrs. Lazar Gabriela.

As far as we now a shelter in Dor Marunt does not exist yet, they only have intentions to buy the land there, and indeed, once bought Lamento rumeno will help build a shelter. Meanwhile, we have an alternative, we have found another shelter where we are moving the dogs.

Last Sunday we have had the unpleasant surprise to see Elena Dorojan and Iulia Capatana come and take somedogs. They did not want to tell us where they would have brought them,but at last we have got to know where they have brought the dogs.
Personally does not annoy me that people that brought dogs in Glina has found other locations with necessary conditions to grow these dogs. But Elena Dorojan has embezzled my dogs, dogs that I brought in Glina from another shelter for which I paid for one year a tax, and from the moment that I brought them in Glina I paid monthly the workmen and also the taxes. This thing is called THEFT and I'll act in consequently.
Elena Dorojan has in Glina at most 10 dogs and Iulia Capatana 25  they have taken from the shelter approximately 80 dogs.

no such monthly pay was made so there's certainly not a theft, since the girls who took the dogs even have papers for them. Iulia's dogs come from flaying house Giurgiu and Elena's from flaying house Chiajna. From the 80 dogs they've tooked, a part were Gabriela Lazar's and they took them with her agreement.

I have a big doubt. I know that you sent money to Elena Dorojan and with this money it has bought netting for enclosures. Did you give this money to make enclosures for all Glina's dogs or only for Elena Dorojan's dogs? I ask you because Elena Dorojan wants dismantle all enclosures, take the nettings bought by her and leave the dogs free. Do you think that this is a normal thing? I've offered her similar value for these nettings but she has refused. I want to make clear that in those enclosures there are dogs and if they will be free, they will tear to pieces between them. Elena Dorojan and Lazar Gabriela have taken their own dogs and they will not take other
dog from Glina' shelter, if not with one accord with the owner of those dogs, while the dog that have been abandoned will be held by "Nu Mai Esti Singur". I have health-books for half of neutered female by me through "Ortovet" clinic (approximately 50 female dogs), and for approximately 40 female dogs the health-books are by Ioana Diaconu.

The nettings were given to zdreanta association, but not also taken by zdreanta since they don't leave us take them along with the dogs. altough glina shelter is closing down, they bring more and more dogs so we couldn't take the nets, because that woud mean letting the dogs out where they could fight each other or even be killed by hunters.
 also, Zdreanta takes care of the abandonned dogs.   We are wonderring why they took our dogs and neutered them, writing their names on their health-books even though those dogs belong to Zdreanta not to them.                  

I hope that should not to come to the point to call police or DSV, since this goes against dogs' interest.

We hope that too, that it's still possible to solve thing peacefully. We have all the papers to prove the origin of the dogs and also that we pay the rent there, but police and DSV(The Sanitary-Veterinarian Guard) that they are using as a threat will definetely harm the dogs. so that's why we hope that we will all be able to remember our main purpose here. To take care, save and fight for these innocent animals, and definetelly not to have power struggles between us.

The next text written in blue is a mail from Sorina Hanea, the owner of "Nu mai esti singur" association.

Taking into consideration the last events that took place in the location where we all take care of so many dogs, i seriously ask you to be able now, at least, when things are taking a disadvantageous trend for the animals there and also for all of us to surpass the empathetically barriers and to act as a real team for them. so i have to remind you these :

1. The association Lamento rumeno from Italy finances us for all the stray dogs in the field

2. we have specialized medical assistance from Ortovet veterinarian clinic-bucharest

we've been to Ortovet clinic with a female dog to be neutered but they refused us for the reason we've missed the appointment since we were gone to pay a fine to DSV in the same time. And, as a result, they only made the surgery for money.

But, Zdreanta association has indeed free medical assistance now from The Veterinarian Medicine University of Bucharest

3. we have administrative and executive staff for rationally and legally managing all the animals that are now in the field from the association "Nu mai esti singur"(No more alone)-Bucharest

Zdreanta association had received "Nu mai esti singur" association on their land, letting them take care of the dogs, since Zdreanta believed that the best way to help the animals is cooperation. Unfortunately not everyone believes the same thing. "Nu mai esti singur" association was closed for inactivity, and now opens up to receive the funds destined to Zdreanta association. Also, Zdreanta is the only association which pays the rent there and the other associations stay there for free.

4. We have legally, financially and accounting assistance from the trading company Datuso-Lex Bucharest

The Datuso-Lex company and also the "Nu mai esti singur" association bolth belong to Sorina Hanea

5. a certain location exists, of 3000 square meters, licenceable, for building a modern shelter, in the locality Dor Marunt, in the farm which is a property of Dumitru Tcaciuc, vicepresident of the association Laila-Bucharest, which would move there in spring the 600 dogs they take care of

we have 400 dogs living on 3000 square meters so we are really wondering how they could keep 600 dogs on the same teritory. but besides those 600 they are talking about they also wanna take the 400 dogs of Zdreanta. so.. 1000 dogs on 3000 square meters?

6. there is a project that's beeing worked at for this shelter

a project is not a shelter yet

7. We could bring more money by sustained campains, proving the eficiency and legal alocation of the obtained funds for and in favour of the project they've been allocated for from the beginning

I consider that this way of taking care of animals by periodically moving them from one improper place to another, not having a clear evidence of all the dogs taken care of, giving them innapropiate food, lacking them of the most elementary hygiene, and of the necessary medical assistance in a colectivity, by continuing the fights and animosities on varied forums, mostly anonimously, continuing to collect varied goods and funds in a way that lacks transparency and legality, can only bring more suffering to the animals we pretend we love and implicitly we forever stigmatize the charity activity which we continue to believe we're making it efficientely, but all we obtain are the opposite results : lost animals, killed, sick, and rightfull punishments from authorities.
Unless we'll be able to find a common denominator in a few days i'm afraid that the fate of these animals is already decided : euthanasy in the flaying house.

Nice words, Sorina, but the final shows that you don't really care for dogs but for the funds they can bring, since you are thinking on euthanasy of 400 healthy dogs.

All of these being said, I think we should all go back fighting for animals and not between us. Makes you wonder about the difference between humans and animals.

Gabriela recently sent Veronica a letter,and we wanted you to be able to read it too...so you can see the situation she and her 400 dogs are:

,,I have moved the dogs to a tempoary location on a field.I haven't finished all the kennels,there still are 100,150 free dogs...This would't be a serious problem if hunting season wouldn't start.We are doing our best to finish the enclosing,as well as the acces road for the cars,the land beind a 200 meters agriculural one...We bring water once every three days with a tank(cistern),we need dwelling spaces for the care takers we don't have due to this lack of space...I have to connect to the light(energy) provider,to bring straws for the cages, build more cages,make a temporary kitchen,and all this for just a few months...I have to find something more stable,a land with a construction...something...I don't know...For now they are saved,but I can't do this any more...I carry everyday food to them, I clean the kennels as much as I can...florin,elena,anda,carmen and oana...supported by some other voices(by telepnone) and some other people would come but they can reach realy hard the field where we are...the last mean of transportation stops at about 2 and a half km from our shelter...so...as you can see...I cannot brag...

i am sorry i couldn't write more often and even now i can only write a few words, but i promise that i'll write more these days when i would have more time.

we have 150 dogs at the new location jilava and are trying to get 600 more from the flaying house where they live in horrible conditions, waiting to be euthanasied.

unfortunatelly i have another bad news. all the money for the rent and for nets were stolen a few days ago from Gabi Lazar, so we can't even pay the rent for this month now.

there's no more room on the flaying houses, and legally they are not aloud to kill the dogs but still they are capturing more so we are wondering where they could keep so many.. unless they illegally kill some of them.

it's so unfortunate that mrs lazar has been robbed exactly in these hard moments, when she was trying to get the dogs from the flaying houses( about 600 dogs) but for that she needs a lot of nets, but now that there's no more money for nets and more urgent for the rent.. our situation is very hard.

inca...de 2 luni e asa bine si liniste la mine la jilava...ciinii sunt super sanatosi si am o multime de puiuti bineinteles adunati de prin canale  tuburi  foste santiere...am si o masina primita cadou prin bunavointa unui mare iubitor de animale...e ea mai vechisoara dar imi  pot face treburile...diverse transporturi care ma costau zeci de milioane iar daca nu aveam banii  nu era mancare nu era castrare nu era tratament ..sunt super fericita..dar sa vad cu ce mai platesc luna viitoare chiria...mai am restante la plase la transport...sa ma bucur acum repede ca cine stie.....
