Ugandan Literacy Program - Give your advice October 31, 2007 5:04 AM Help implement a literacy awareness campaign To show the benefits that literacy will bring to youth and their families, the local Parents & Teachers Association wishes to carry out a literacy awareness campaign. This should result in 300 students being able to read and write and join vocational training in 2010, thereby improving these youth’s chances in life. We want to raise the awareness among the youth in Kamwezi. The campaign should focus on having the youth from 13-19 years of age to have the capacity to read, write and interpret any information given to them. The community looks forward to having about 300 students who will be able to join a vocational school by 2010 as the community has in its plans to have a vocational school to impart skills to the youth so that they can earn a living and be able to have a better standard of living  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
