I'm boring. January 24, 2007 4:15 PM

I'm reading "Essential Manners for Couples." It's interesting, though. And a book called "Instant Karma." Also a personal finances book. Whew. I need to get OUT of the self-help section!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

that book sounds amazing. Is it anything like 'Animals in Translation' by Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson? I haven't read it yet, and I stress yet, but a good friend has. It's about a woman with autism and how she connects with animals through the disease, well, basically anyway. You've peaked my interest, nonetheless, another one to add to my 'to read' list. Thanks!!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I am almost finished reading 'Animals in Translation' by Temple Grandin It is a very good book about how animals think. It has a ton of good information, I recommend this book to any animal owner, She talks alot about farm animals but there is also a lot about dogs and cats. And I also learned a lot about autistic people!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Yeah, embarassingly, I'm still reading 'The Historian.' I had to put pleasure reading on hold of a few months and devote my life to studying. I've finally got some 'free' time so, I'll be able to catch up and knock out of few in my must read pile. Abi, I got to see Bobby's grave and Greyfriars church on a recent trip to Scotland. It's the cutest statue I've ever seen and apparently one of the most photographed in all of Scotland!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Just finished 'The Historian' and it was a bit of a let down. The vampire lore, legend and history was great but the ending a but anticlimatic to say the least. I've now started my long awaited 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawkins. I absolutely love it so far. The choice on what to read next is going to be a hard one.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

What I'm reading August 24, 2007 10:50 AM

I'm currently reading "Unpeople" by Mark Curtis. It is a fascinating look at how the British government has aided repressive regimes around the world. A must for any British person interested in politics.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
