Molecules of Emotion- Book Suggestion April 11, 2005 11:43 AM
Molecules of Emotion is one of the most influencing books I've read on the how your emotions and your body are connected. It provides scientific explanations on how your brain releases certain chemicals to induce certain moods. It presents the science in a smart, fun and understandable way. Plus I found Pert's journey to find out about these chemicals so interesting.
*flower4*Here are so quotes off the book cover:*flower4*
"Candace B. Pert, Ph.D., is the author of Molecules of Emotion. She is a Research Professor in the Dept of Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where she also conducts AIDS research."*flower1*
"Molecules of Emotion is a highly inspiring story of the search for the biochemical links between consciousness, mind, and body that also weaves in Pert's deeply personal search for truth. Highly recommended!" - Dean Ornish, M.D., author of Eat More, Weigh Less.
