Sam is lost - Leighs accident

On Friday, the 25th, Leigh (one of our hosts here as well as a beloved to many) was involved in a bad car accident (they had to cut her out of the car)  She suffered a broken collar bone as well as right wrist.....problems with her left arm.  Sam, her furrkid, was with her and ran from the accident.  We are looking for her.....I will just add a link to my group (the thread) so that ya'll can follow what is going on....maybe add some suggestions and prayers.

Sam was found on the side of the road~ hit by a car.  The damage was extensive so Leigh made the hardest decision of her life and she passed onto Rainbow Bridge Monday evening.

I just spoke with Leigh....she is having Sam cremated and is trying to pick out what box......she's holding on....better than I thought she would.    At least she was with Sam....telling her she'll see her  at Rainbow Bridge.......I've let her know the love and caring everyone has shown and she feels so blessed to have so many that cared.  Thank you all~~~Dusty

Its hard for me to put into words sometimes.......what I'm thinking or feeling.  So many people touch our lives.....some remain forever and others only take what they need and move on.   Leigh is a true friend and a Blessed human being....the love and compassion she shows to , not only  her friends but the time and money she puts forth to save animals (lion esp.)  I feel her lose as though its my own.....I guess we really can become friends thru a social site like Care2...............talking with one another via phone and sharing our tears and frustrations when no one else understands.  I hope everyone here has "someone  special" that has made a difference or touched their lives.......and never take it for granted.  Please continue to pray for Leigh as she heals emotionally as well as physically  from this.  Bless you all!!!!Dusty
