Our Big Short-term Goal...  To have millions of people wearing American Revolution 2007 t-shirts and/or hats on the Fourth of July, this year.

In order to achieve this we have to hustle.

by June 5th -- 

     Finish basic designs for t-shirts hats, flyers, and posting to other      care2 groups, and have them available here to our group and visitors to use.

     Expand our group network on Care2

     Draft letters of approach for outside internet groups

June 3rd - 8th

     Finalize a t-shirt design, with the American Revolution 2007, and Impeachment message

     Work on click-able banners and printable flyers, all with the same American Revolution 2007 and Impeachment messages.

     approach locals about ordering shirts and local printers, get first runs of shirts ordered

     Get up a public website, for downloadable t-shirt and hat designs, printable flyers, cards, and postable banner links, also a page or pages for listing links to the companies that are printing shirts, and the websites that are part of the Revolution (have our banners up)

     Brainstorm online and offline groups to approach and finalize the letters to send online ones

June 6th-12th

     Finalize the click-able banners for sites supporting us

     Finalize flyers, cards, etc.

     Make the public site presentable

     Begin approaching outside groups, and blogs about putting up a banner, start conversations on forums, etc.

     Agree on or draft a petition for impeachment

     Draft letters to be sent from a call to action to encourage reluctant, slow sites/groups

     More graphics? if people are inclined and it does not slow the momentum

June 10th  - 20th and beyond

Finalize the impeachment petition and get it up and available for download on the public site, along with a list of, or links to, physical and email addresses for representatives, media groups, etc.

Keep an updated list here of groups we have approached and when, along with their status.

Keep an updated list of sites with our banners, and the Companies that are printing the shirts, and hats, both here and at the public site.

Continue to approach outside groups. Calls to action may be needed at this point, using our united voice to encourage reluctant or slow groups.

 Beyond this point it will be up to the public at large to make this really work, by wearing shirts, hanging flyers, approaching people, and talking to businesses about printing/selling more shirts and hats. Our role will be an ongoing effort to spread the word online and in our own towns.

The thing is: what will be the image/logo?

What is the Primary Agenda to the Revolution, in simple terms? I'm under the assumption that it is to End the War...

Are there images which can be remote-hosted, so that the techies/geeks can download their own images to print to suit to their means, as well as an inexpensive version of Cafe Press to continue promotion of the idea/ideal/goal?

It is now the 8th. Where do we go from here?

Antiwar demonstrations have been butchered to promote worthy causes, but have also created fissures in the original concept - promotion of Peace.

Sidetracked by noble causes, to be sure; FoodNotBombs, NoNukes.org, 9-11 Truth, and others...but sidetracked, nonetheless - thereby displaying diverse messages and intents, rather than focusing the Chorus to the simple concept: End The Occupation, Send Them Home, Append the Constitution to Extend our original rights back to us...

You get the drift.

Yes - I'm aware that there's potential for a crisis bill to come up to allow for the President's continued stay in office, which, of course, fills a lot of peoples' minds with trepidation...

I think we've got to send a singular message, in a united chorus, and send it, prettymuch, NOW.

How? I have no frackin' clue...many of the previous leaders and attenders of the peace rallies local have prettymuch taken a duck-and-cover, returning to their lives and hoping for the best from whatever remains of the Peace Activist movements...

What do we have to do?

I'm open for suggestions, but I can already see that the timeline for this particular project is prettymuch shot.

I am expecting to see some graphics today, from Daniel Luke, and although the group is behind on the timeline, I am not ready to give up yet. We just need people to pitch in. Lauren agreed to work on banners/grapics as well, but I don't know how that is going. James has approached MoveOn, and I think the letter will work for Truth Out and other such groups. I am sooo ready to start getting the word out, I have gathered addresses of groups, and locals, just waiting on graphics. I will let James post later as regarding the goals, although the group as a whole does not seem to have come to a concensus yet, I think most of us agree on the basics. The idea of useing Cafe Press is one that has occured to me as well, and I think that as soon as we get graphics, it should be persued as one of many outlets. Has anyone here looked into it? Bottom line, the opportunity to make news on July 4th is too great to simply give up on, and if I have to use Magic Markers and hand out t-shirts I will, and encourage the rest to do so as well, if it comes to that.   [ send green star]

Don't forget to get some decent graphics online that we, the technophiles, can put to our printers and zap out Tshirts, bumper stickers, tank tops, business cards, webspace background images, banners, desktop wallpaper....yeah, you get the idea.

Figure it would be interesting to actually flip this thing like a visual virus, you know?

Meanwhile: how did the graphics turn out? Let me know...

I wrote this last year, but so far, only 3 of us have signed it.  I wonder if it would get a better response now?

The unanimous Declaration of the fifty united States of America,
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

He has kept among us and abroad, in times of peace, waging war for oil, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
