I am Nikki and am still fairly new to snowboarding (it's my second year) but I love it! 
Greetings my kindred bros, newbie to boarding but pretty stoked with it. I have a cheap board but for practice its totally sweet don't cha' know. I m gettin betta' with each run I make, and the gurly gurl riders are worth the bumps an brusiese lol like totally, keep rippin dudes.
Been snowboarding for about 5 years, on some of the best snow in the U.S. {Grand Targhee} I'm hoping to get flips down this season.
Well, I hope you have fun! I am still waiting for snow...so far only got some flurries, the resorts should be open by the end of November/early Deccmber. You'd think that from living in Canada that you's be getting snow by now, but oh well...
New to this site and glad to find this group. Been riding for about... 14 yrs now...? maybe 15, i dont know. Been teaching and helping others mostly for the past 6 years. Living in So. Cal and mostly go local. Looking for riding partners!
Heavenly this season since I got a season pass to it. The mountain is great! It is so large that you can go exploring in the trees and waste the whole day without doing the same run twice.

I would assume the boarding would be great in Colorado. What places did you get a chance to board at?
Thanks for the welcome! I've mostly just been to Keystone, but it's a great location for all boarders. There is a huge variety of trails there, including easier ones, which is perfect for a beginner like myself.

Awesome Kira! I've never ridden in WA. Where did you spend your time on the mountain last year? This year I plan to get a pass to Heavenly in Tahoe and have trips planned to Colorado and Utah! Snow is already on the ground in Tahoe...woohoo!
