Our planet has had enough! Or hadn't you noticed? Too many people are still only concerned with themselves. They don't realize they are not separate from the world. We are all part of the world. And we can all be shown a way towards World Peace. Reading and participating in this petition, WILL bring about Positive results!

Peter Russell M.A., D.C.S., F.S.P. and Revolutionary Futurist, put it best when he said, "The many crises that we see around us -- global warming, desertification, holes in the ozone layer, disappearing rainforest's, polluted rivers, acid rain, dying dolphins, large-scale famine, a widening gap between the "haves" and the "have nots", nuclear proliferation, over-exploitation, and a host of other dangers - all stem in one way or another from human self-centeredness. Time and again we find decisions being made not according to the merits of the situation at hand, but according to the needs of the individual or special interest groups. Governments strive to hold on to power, businesses seek to maximize profit, leaders want to retain their status, and consumers around the world try to satisfy their own needs for identity and security. In the final analysis, it is our need to protect and reinforce an ever-faltering sense of self that leads us to consume more than we need, pollute the world around, abuse other peoples, and show a careless disregard for the many other species sharing our planetary home." So what can we do as a world group? "If we are not at peace, then it just may be that it is our way of seeing that is the culprit. We may not realize that we have become stuck in our perception. We may not realize there is another way of looking at things. But deep down we know. Our innate wisdom, the quiet inner voice of the unconditioned self, knows. We have only to open to it, with an attitude of innocent curiosity, and ask: Could there perhaps be an other way of seeing this? In doing so we are praying to our inner self for guidance. We are praying for peace. But we are not praying to be given peace. We are praying to be shown the way to peace."

'Willful Conscious Intent' is the new definition of prayer. A term coined by members at the Science and Spirituality Conference at Drake University in 2000. Dannion Brinkley, has been to the other side of the veil and knows there is no such thing as death. He tells us that we are all very Powerful Spiritual Beings and that LOVE is the answer. In his book, "The Secrets of the Light", co-written with his wife Kathryn, he writes: "Willful: the ability to influence through mental power; Conscious: a knowledgeable stream of awareness; Intent: concentrated attention to a specific purpose." They also write, "Through prayer we talk to spirit; through meditation we listen; and through affirmation we create a means by which we can more easily receive higher energies of inspiration and beauty." Dannion's book also includes 'The Seven Truths'. Truth #2 states in part: We choose to come here as a 'Force Of One' in order to make changes for the betterment of humanity, knowing that we are capable of making a real difference.

A Course In Miracles tells us, "There is only one of us here".

Affirmations spoken aloud become what Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet speak about in their books as Decrees. A prayer spoken aloud, with emotion, felt in the heart, repeated as many times as you like. According to Elizabeth Clare Prophet, in her book, "The Creative Power Of Sound," "Decrees are the most powerful and effective form of spoken prayer." They also speak of the 'Violet Flame'. Use of the Violet Flame transmutes negative energy.

Studies were done on prayer and the effects they had on people and neighborhoods. A formula was developed and the findings were interesting. "The minimum number of people required to "jump-start" a change in consciousness is less than 1% of a population.", stated by Gregg Braden in his book, "The Divine Matrix". Gregg also states, "This calculation represents only the minimum needed to begin the process. The more people are involved, the faster the effect is created." This book also goes on extensively showing us how we are all connected and how "we have a direct line to the same force that creates everything from atoms and stars to the DNA of life...with a small shift in perception we can tap the most powerful force in the universe in order to address even seemingly impossible situations. This happens when we allow ourselves a new way of seeing our role in the world."

To summarize: Repetitive, verbal, willful-conscious-intent is very effective, and less than 1% of any given group need to participate for positive effects to take place. We are all Powerful Spiritual Beings who can tap the most Powerful Force in the Universe. With over 6,650,000,000 residing on our beautiful planet Earth today, I know we can come together as a World Family and have more than 1% of the world population change their perceptions and ask to be shown the way to World Peace.
