Books June 10, 2010 10:42 AM

We recently moved. We sold most of our books about a thousand or so, we still have a few hundred. We do miss our books though.

We have a ton of books in our house! I used to go out and spend a lot of money on new books, only to find that I didn't like the book. Such a waste of money and a disappointment to spend your hard-earned money on books you don't want to read more than once. So, I have a strategy; I love Barnes and Noble, so I visit often. If I see a book that looks interesting, I'll write down the title and see if my local library has it. Some books are very popular (especially if they are new), so I don't mind if I'm on a long waiting list for them. Eventually I'll get to read it. If I really like the book (enough to read it more than once), I'll buy it at a used bookstore; or sometimes I'll buy a new copy. Better yet, our local library has a huge collection of books for sale. One branch is selling them for a quarter a piece and the other is selling them for 50 cents a piece. I'm anxious to go to the library again and check out their selection to see if there are any books that would be good to add to my collection. For that price, I can afford to buy a whole bunch of books!

Hi guys! How are you all doing? How many books do you guys have in your book shelves now? Me, i only have a few. I sold most of my books in a garage sale a few years back. Now that i have my own house, i plan to have a nice bookshelf for the books i presently have.  [ send green star]
