I'm so sorry to hear about your little mousy. Sounds like he has something wrong with his nervous system, maybe a brain tumor or even something in his inner ears.
I hope you know he loves you and thanks you for taking care of him for so long. Our little sweeties never live as long as we wish they would. Give him as much love for as long as you can and then let him go to the Rainbow Bridge where there is no stumbling or pain.
Thanks. But the thing is he's very very old and he's a wild mouse. We kept him at first because he was very ill as a kitten (my dad found him on the street) then we couldn't let him go because he hadn't learnt the basics of living in the wild on his own. But then because he was so wild we still couldn't handle him. Now two years later he's ill again and extremely old for a mouse who had such a dramatic change of lifestyle, and I don't even know if he knows I did look after him! Anyway, I used a book by Margrit Coates which is about holistic animal healing and strangely enough I think it's actually worked.
