Hey, good to see theres an interest in this group, i hope it flourishes, poetry, be it beat, spoken, romantic, surreal or childrens or whatever, is a wonderful tool for men and women, and spoken word, slam, performance, is really the epitomy of it for me. Embraced in the leaves of the Standing Trees, you send out a message of this love; to the birds, to the bees, to me. Oh, where would I be without this love? out of darkness, behind, with claiming reassurance. I am here with a teardrop of history- can I say that I know you? Sometimes an unrequited love is more powerful than the present one, because it still carries all of the power of fantasy found in one's psyche. The vivid nature of one's own imagination, can often be far more arresting than the truth of reality born out into one's experience.

Hello,

 I'm Mayla. I noticed this group in the active group section and it sounded interesting, so......here I am. LOL

 I joined Care 2 in May. Shortly after I joined, I became very ill and was unable to participate until recently. Consequently, my network is very small.

I realize people don't become 'best, or even 'close' friends' overnight, but if any of you find from my profile that we may share some things in common, please feel free to message me. I'm also wanting to expand for the purpose of having more contacts for causes I'm interested in.
