Linton Kwezi Johnson-Reggae's Pioneering Poet February 09, 2007 5:18 PM

This is a link to an interview on NPR of Linton Kwezi Johnson. A few years ago,I had the honor of opening for him. Doing that show, and meeting him,I regard as one of the highlights of my life as a spoken word artist..

Hey, David...Thanks for the treat!  I finally had a chance to listen to the whole interview...LKJ is certainly a living legend & as relevant today as ever...I first heard him years ago on the radio in Washington DC -- more than likely on WPFW (Pacifica Radio) Good to see him on myspace -- hopefully the younguns will be running across him there:  http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=109683833

And hey! Good to see you & Talkin' Roots Crew there, too! http://www.myspace.com/talkinrootscrew

Check'em out y'all!
