Giving Thanks and The Law of Attraction November 22, 2007 11:53 AM

One of the most important steps in the Law of Attraction is the expression of gratitude. The more we are able to express gratitude for the tiny things we manifest, the more things we are able to manifest.

Too many times, we are so wrapped up in our thoughts about what we haven't manifested that we don't even notice the small things that we do manifest.

You can be concentrating so hard on not having a mate to share your life with that you don't notice the good looking person checking you out with interest at the grocery store. Or, maybe you are worrying so much about not having money that you don't notice the $20 bill laying on the sidewalk.

To successfully use the Law of Attraction, we must learn to show gratitude every moment of every day. When we awaken each morning, we can give thanks that we have been given another day of life. We can give thanks that we are able to get out of bed and stand on our own two feet. As we shower, we can give thanks for the warm water. We can give thanks for our food, for a safe commute to work, etc.

If we go through our day with awareness, we can find many things that we can be grateful for.

We can even be grateful for a confrontation with our boss, because it gave us an opportunity to practice coming from our heart. We can be grateful for a financial crisis because it gave us a chance to practice thriftiness.

If we really look, we can always find something to be grateful for. And this act of being grateful will bring us even more wonderful things to be grateful for.

Giving thanks is not just for Thanksgiving, but for every moment of every day.

Have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!!
