hi, Just joined... April 26, 2004 12:26 PM

Hi... I am a Wiccan Priestess. My specialties are Kitchen witchery, herbology, natural healing and Chakral healing. It works, it really, really works. People are so skepticle, even in my Anatomy and Physiology class, and I say, we have electrical currents that are what makes us move. Our heart alone runs off of it's own intrinsic electrical system. It can continue to beat even after we are "dead." Why wouldn't anyone believe that we can manipulate those electrical currents then? Glad to be here, Crystal  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

chakra healing? April 29, 2004 9:08 AM

What technique do you use for chakra healing?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

uh, technique? Um, I guess I don't know techniques. I can just see where the work needs to be done and I fix it. Often times I "pull" it (the problem) out and then replace it with the appropriate energy as to not create a hole or "vaccuum" of sorts.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Chakra Healing Techniques May 19, 2004 1:15 PM

Dear Crystal K., The human heart and the entire chakra system is powered by both the Source of all light, the sun and the Source of all gravity in the core of the earth. Chakra healing techniques involve a healer opening to the light of the sun, while connecting to the gravity in the core of the earth - also called grounding. As the healer makes these connections, he or she can then safely and powerfully transmit healing energy to another person, to restore a chakra or the entire chakra syatem. Chakras function by opening and calling in energy in response to the needs of an individuals spirit. As the spirit needs energy to help heal or fuel the body, the chakra opens and pulls in the required amount of energy, then the corresponding gland secretes and the corresponding organ has more fuel to work.  [ send green star]

Hi, just joined also June 16, 2004 7:54 AM

I want to learn more about Reiki and healing. I hope you don't mind if I listen in here. I did take three degrees in Reiki but still feel like a new born.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Learning about healing June 20, 2004 11:50 AM

Dear Sugar 150 D., You ask a beautiful question, that potentially has an infinite number of answers. I have a suggestion that is personal to my experience, but may open some windows in your mind and/or soul. If you go to my web site - OneLightHealingTouch.com and click on the heading 'Articals,' there is a selcetion of stories and interviews that may jog or focus your direction a bit. Healing is so vast a subject, only life itself can compare to its limitlessness. Best of Luck, Ron. L  [ send green star]

Hi, I just joined as well. I don't really know anything about hands on healing, but I am very interested in learning more. I took some belly dancing classes where they talked about some of this stuff, but I really am a blank slate.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

could anyone suggest where I should start looking for information?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

research the ones you know/hear about June 21, 2004 10:18 PM

Alyssa - I would suggest Ron's OneLightHealingTouch website. Also, do searches on Reiki, Quantum Touch, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reflexology and Acupressure to start with. Initial searches on the net should give you enough basic information to decide which style you might like. Just remember, not all purveyors of one style or other will suit you, but the actual method might. Does anyone else have other methods to suggest? Thanks - Amy  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Reading and Experience June 22, 2004 4:42 AM

Hi Alyssa, There are several massage magazines out now. You can probably pick one up at a health food store. Check at the library for books that give overviews of various techniques. And treat yourself to some healing work. Check out some of the practitioners in your area and see what the work feels like.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
