HELLO September 15, 2007 5:32 AM

We ALL know someone who has died or is suffering from cancer. If you have any personal stories feel free to start a thread but this group isn't necessarily about finding cures. They are already out there. I will endeavour to post as much info on that as I can given time. This group is about stopping the fraudulent charities fleecing us for more money with scare tactics (like the recent HPV scare) and emotional blackmail. Its about stopping all the fraudulent animal experiments being done in our name and with our money!
Rant over..
Say hello.........

Hi I'm Helen September 15, 2007 2:30 PM

Hi, I am Helen and I live in Brisbane, Australia.Jacqueline O sent me an invite here. It seems Jo knows when I am down as I have just come online and have not told anyone until now. I lost an Aunt yesterday to 2 Brain Tumors. Its still seems unbelievable to me that she has gone. I got the call at 9.30am yesterday Saturday here, just as we were on our way out the door to an nephews engagement. So yesterday my mind was occupied with that. Now I have to accept that she is gone, and that is going to be hard as she was like a second Mum to me. Her name is Grace.

Anyone who has any info they think is worth sharing (even if they think its trivial it might not be to someone else) please please post it! The more info we get the better for everyone.

HIYA September 16, 2007 11:37 AM

Hi Everyone - Alf thanx for the invite.  I feel not only do they experiment on animals but also on humans - when the Doctors know that it is impossible to help any further - they still give that patient options - ie: colostromy etc. when they know for a fact that once a patient is opened up the cancer spreads like wild fire - my cousin was one of those unfortunate to be put in such a position - and these people they will grasp at any straw to get better- stay here for just that much longer - and after all it is their choice - so you remain silent - and after these operations - what happens the dis-ease is worse and whatever quality of life they had - has been taken away from them completely - and it is ever so quickly downhill after that.

Well after that diatribe - hello all - love, light and healing surround you all.  jos

Hi, I joined a few days back but haven't had a lot of time online.  I lost my husband to Hodgkin's disease 8 years ago, they said it was curable but it killed him all the same.   [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi Jaqueline September 16, 2007 1:31 PM

You are so right. Ultimately as we all know animal experiments are not there to protect OUR safety but for the pharmaceautical companies to protect their backs. Once they have tried something on the animals the first people to get that treatment are indeed the guinea pigs and they have no idea how the treatment will react on humans.  [ send green star]

Hey Chris September 16, 2007 1:34 PM

So sorry to hear about your husband! I often wonder if I could have helped my mum if I knew then what I know now? I'll never know and we do what we can with what we have.  [ send green star]

 September 16, 2007 1:52 PM

Hi Alf, I wanted my husband to try alternative treatments, at least alongside what he was doing, but he trusted the hospital...and that was after he had been given an overdose of chemo drugs in the early stages too!  It wasn't until he had 2 weeks left that he agreed to try Essiac, but it was too late then.

I always said they should use murderers and rapists to test the drugs on.

[ send green star]  [ accepted]

Alf September 16, 2007 6:29 PM

I wonder about that too.

My mother got lung cancer when cancer was almost unknown.

After they opened her up, her health rapidly declined as the cancer went everywhere.

I too wonder if I could have saved her knowing what I know now. Alas alternative natural treatment was unheard of then.

[ send green star]  [ accepted]

P.S. to Chris September 16, 2007 6:31 PM

Drugs shouldn't be tested on anyone because drugs are crap.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

 September 16, 2007 8:06 PM

Hi alf , thanks for the invite m'love. I will probably not post much here but i will be reading and learning. My mother died of cancer and i was her caretaker. i got to keep a happy positive face on for her, as i watched her fade away. I don't have much doubt of what you say about them being able to find a cure, just not wanting to, in order to keep the gravey train rolling. i believe it immoral to put a price on ones living or dying.

and i do believe drugs can help, and i don't mind them testing them on animals or humans ( death row inmates, maybe) ... my point is just find cures already !

[ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi Tony September 17, 2007 4:34 AM

Wow thanx for joining.

If you check out some of the threads you'll find that cures and successful treatments have indeed already been discovered but the cancer business have done a great job of covering them up along with the FDA.
There's Essiac, B17, Intravenous VitC, Ozone, Oxygen etc etc all being used successfully. Sad thing is though most people don't actually go to a natural treatment centre until they have been pumped full of chemicals and are on their last legs.
When my mum was dying I had heard all the fuss about the Bristol cancer centre as they were trying to blacklist it but she just didn't believe in natural cures.

 September 17, 2007 4:49 AM

Good morning my friends... Thank you so much Alf for the invite, and for this group... Yes, cancer has been pretty well known throughout my life... I had thyroid cancer in 1979, my kids dad had Malenoma (sp?) which is very scarey!!  Just this past summer we buried a dear friend 2 weeks younger than me, after she struggled & lost her life to cancer.  It is an ugly thing indeed... very sad, very difficult to see, and so hard on the person who has it & the family & friends who love them... The dreaded "C" word... has become fairly well-known & heard of over the past several years, too many individuals seem to be getting some form or another of it...  I know there are some cures for certain types, I'm sure there are even more helpful medicines & new technologies that are available as well, however the expense of health for many is outrageous & impossible for many to afford.

This is a wonderful group, with a terrific host... we are all intelligent ppl, so let's put our hearts & heads together and try to make this a better world as we show & voice our concerns & thoughts of hopeful changes for the future?

Peace & Blessings to all...

Thanx TW September 18, 2007 5:03 AM

Nice words.
One thing tho, you said there are treatments for 'some' cancers. I beg to differ. Some natural therapies will work on all cancers as they heal the whole body not just the symptoms. Modern medicine is hooked on specific cancers and tumours and they forget about the whole body and person. That is why they don't 'cure'. Read the intro to alternative therapies in the list of links. That is quite thorough.

Thanks Foxy for the invite.

My father died of lung cancer, cortisone gave him so much pain than the relief was less than it.. and finally the so "nice" dotors let him 17 hours bleeding to death trough an arthery although I was asking them that I was willing to stop his suffering.. they almost calld the police and my family was mad at me..

I hate drugs, and I hate pharmaceutic ompanies killing animals and people just for money

Montse nice that you joined us. I am sorry about your father. I had no idea *bighug* I lost my aunt and my grandfather because of cancer. She was very stressful and leading an unhappy life, with bad diet and my granpa had it bad with all the chemicals they used in the farm he was working at. both of them suffered very much because of chemotherapy & drugs. I can't even think about it.

I really believe that the cure is out there - in the way we live, the way we eat, the way we act as personalities. Not in the pharmaceutical companies hands. They suck.

Hi! October 23, 2007 9:33 AM

Thanks for the invite, Foxy!

I seem to remember reading a few years ago (sorry, can't remember where), that many doctors treating breast cancer patients were advising them to become vegans, and that the practice was spreading to other doctors. Milk (even the organic stuff) is naturally full of growth hormones - it does have to get a small calf to fully-grown cow in just a couple of years after all. The growth hormones have little effect on a fully grown animal, i.e. us, but cancerous cells just can't get enough of them.
[ send green star]  [ accepted]

It's not the natural growth hormones we have to worry about..... October 23, 2007 9:45 AM

The problem with "growth hormones" is they are injected into the cows to make them give milk even when they have not given birth to a calf. This way the Corporate farmers get 24/7 milk production.

These added growth hormones are why younger and younger girls have breasts and probably one of the reasons (but not the only one) for the breast cancer increase.

Hello Alf, and thank you for the invite. I've lost my Mom to lung cancer almost 2 yrs ago...Being the oldest child and taking on the caretaker role was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Her Dr diagnosed her with pnemonia for months and months until finally I took her to a different Dr in a different state even. It was only 6 months from the day she felt ill until her depart..She was 61 when she left...It was something I will never ever forget and Mom will always be with me...I know that Dr. knew it was something more after she allready screwed up. I was escourted out of the Dr's office after I told her exactly what I thought of her and her MIS-diagnosis...I am sure she will never forget me even if she returns to India, her homeland!!

Thanks again, With Love, Kim K

Kim October 28, 2007 4:46 PM

Thats very sad but don't hold a grudge. Doctors are fallible, very much so. That anger, if you hold it in will also make you ill.
I was also angry with my mums doctors but now I realise they only did what they believed was right. Ignorance is rife in the medical proffession.......

Re: [Cancer Research Research] HELLO October 28, 2007 7:07 PM

I had to think back to remember losing someone to cancer, and my extra dad from my childhood died of lung cancer, but it was a forgone conclusion: he smoke 3 packs a day of non-filter cigarettes for 55 years. Well -- do the math, he survived to about 70, and he had a very social life, Ole Don Meisner. He was a naval architect that specialized in old ships in this day of diesel. I am a health nazi, myself, and I try as hard as I can to get people around me to drink juice and go hiking. I have made a religion out of blood circulation, and I come from a very competitive region: Manhattan in NYC. I think our collective health may be one-up-manship, and in fact, I don't like most of "my people" that much anymore. I like the animals in the forests. The single truth about cancer is that it is something new. They say victims are often genetically predisposed, but that is BS. Industry is poisoning us, and real estate interests are removing any chance of sidewalks are safe bike paths. In defense of modern civilization, people point out that our life spans are 20 years longer than they were in the pre-cancer days, and imply that we should accept the good with the bad. That is of course more BS, because if we go back to more traditional ways, we do not have to throw away modern medicine, which is about to have another revolution using what is called bio-molecular modeling, or testing in computers, which will also be the end to animal cruelty in testing. Interestingly enough, it is computer mogul Bill Gates who stands in the way of computer modeling for medicine. This may sound odd, but the reason he blocks the use of computers, is that his Microsoft systems, or the XP operating system, is in no way capable of serious computing; that is done by the Linux system in Google, for instance, or the weather service. Today's super computers are rooms full of cheap PCs pulled together in what are called Linux cluster networks. Since Gates is the richest man in the world, and hence the biggest philanthropist, he is in the best position to prolong disease, and he does not miss any opportunity to do so, he is no different from Ronald McDonald who laughs at those who die from heart attacks as their loved ones stay in his "houses." There was a lot of Microsoft advertising on Care2 through their MSN click to donate program, more of what is called "false charity." I fought MSN on Care2 singlehandedly, and got suspended from Care2, as a result, I believe. When I was reinstated, Michon said that I had not broken any rules, and that she did not know why I was suspended, but I believe that my resistance to Microsoft's false charity was the reason. Microsoft and its chairman Bill Gates represent the biggest threats to humanity, and not only through the prolonging of disease because of poor software quality in the hands of the controlling information monopoly which is also the richest corporation. For reasons I cannot explain, no one, but no one can grasp the simple fact that he who controls technology controls humanity. Not even you as you read this -- your eyes will just gloss over it. In ancient times it was the Egyptians with their monument building system, later it is the Romans with their empire building system. In recent times it was between the USSR and the US with bomb building systems, and now we are back at empire building with globalism, where Microsoft computers provided the information management and control systems: Microsoft is in control of control. Despite these specific issues, along with many centrally controlling associated issues, especially in the area of economics and taxes; despite my efforts to create easy to understand writing along with suggestions for bringing change to government -- changes which have been acknowledged as probably effective by lawmakers I have presented with the ideas -- no one in this group, in Care2, or anywhere in the nation or in the world that I can find will help move forward in these few proved ways that can fundamentally improve life. We're f*ked. People will keep getting cancer, and each by personal choice. And I will continue to be ignored if I present these ideas, or insulted if I try to push them in to the forethought. I can be any amount of money, literally, that event this plea will be ignored, ANY AMOUNT. Like I say, we're f*ked Empathy thinman.com/empathy Photography thinman.com/photography Technology thinman.com  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Thanks for the invite, Sandy! December 09, 2007 12:21 AM

and to you, too, Alf!

This really is great idea for a group.  All that money for cancer research over all these years, and no cure?!  I agree, that's something that needs to be closely examined.  Could it be there's too much money in people having cancer,  and no money in curing them?

I've been sayng for awhile now, that that's the problem with doctors and Big Pharma in general......all the money is in keeping people sick,  no money in seeing them get well!

Did you know?.......A German University recently discovered a compound in Marijuana smoke that kills lung cancer cells?.......it does NOT "slow the growth",  but actually kills the cancer cells. Did we hear anything in the mainstream American press about that?   No, we did not,  and we never will,  for all the reasons listed above.

Anyway, thanks again, Sandy, for the invite, and it's great to be part of such an important group as this.   Brightest Blessings to all here!

Hello December 09, 2007 12:28 PM

To all these new people. Sorry I can't say it personally to each of you. Am bit tired this eve. We all have our own personal stories and I hope each of you will find some answers here or if you have some please post them.
The only way we're all gonna find out about how to deal with cancer is through word of mouth because the media are not going to tell us.
I recently saw a documentary about Phage. Not a cure for cancer but for these superbugs that are killing hospital patients. Its completely natural and been known since 1930 in Russia. Why don't we know about it? Because the pharmaceuticals can't patent it!!!!

Well my mother was dignosed with colon cancer Oct 2004. She had  the ilostomy procedure and had 3/4 of her colon removed.  The doctors still could not remove all the  cancer in her.  On Dec 23 2005 she passed away..

Now i have a next question that i will post a new thread &  would like to see responses as the docter gave me this paper for this blood test and how you feel about it.

Thanks Hans for inviting me. I have re-occerant kidney cancer and have fought this battle with cancer for 11yrs now and still going strong. I lost my right kidney and had my IVC cut and scraped in 1996, also had a tumor cut out of my left lung in Dec.2003 . No chemo as Kidney cancer is resistant to most chemo drugs.  All I have done is meditation and positive thinking with a few supplements thrown in. I still have small tumors in the lungs but they are stable and Atypical cells showing up in my urine samples which have to be investigated but I'm grateful for being alive and I'm enjoying life.     [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi Bergstromjoy February 01, 2008 8:44 AM

There ARE cures for cancer, take a look at the links on the main page. There is plenty people can do to help themselves if they do their own research. The doctors don't even know about the alternatives only what they have been taught.

Thank you for inviting me to this group Hans, forgive me for taking some time to accept, the first invite you sent just happened to be on the same day my mother called to say that she is having a biopsy on a lump that has been found during a mammography. I did not even peek at this group,I was afraid to,yes I know that makes little sense but I just left the invite sitting there because I was afraid what I would find,I have not had many losses in my life but the loss of my grandmother, who was my everything since the day I was born, died of cancer and I do believe that the chemo only progressed her depart from this mundane world and it took a long time for me to stop blaming her children who pursuaded her that she should have the chemo of taking her from me.before the chemo my grandmother was in good spirits and had a fighting spirit and I so believed she would be with me for more time that when only a week after chemo My father called to say she was gone,my reply was "No she is not, she said she is going to fight the cancer,I'm going to her house in the morning" I went from not accepting what he was telling me to blaming him and his siblings and I know it was painful for him, especially when our relationship, for many reasons, has been a complicated one for many years

I have been reading the posts here and am glad I finally came and I am now struggling with telling my mother that a biopsy may not be the best choice of action and at the same time I am telling myself that my mother is correct in feeling it is just precautionary or otherwise wouldn't her doctor had wanted a biopsy right away and not weeks after the lump was found?

 February 10, 2008 9:57 AM

Hi. I'm Karen. Thankfully there is no cancer in my family history going way back. But I lost my best friend to a very aggressive cancer and she never made it to her 45th birthday. I can't remember the name of the cancer but it started out as a tiny, pea-sized bump on her upper thigh. In 3-months it had grown to the size of small grapefruit. She endured chemo, radiation and 2 surgeries before it took her life. The chemo was some new conconction and extremely powerful. She lost her beautiful, long red hair and no treatment even touched the cancer. The day she would have the chemo she would be sick for 4 or 5 days, then perhaps have a day or two of feeling O.K. and it was time for chemo again. The radiation gave her such a burn on her skin and she developed a nasty infection, twice, because of that treatment. When she was first diagnosed she asked and I promised to be at her side, and I was, for all of it. I couldn't make her better but I held her hand and listened to everything she had to say. She had a hectic lifestyle; 3 teenagers, a 3-year-old, a husband and she was a nurse who worked the night shift. Near the end I took her away from it all for 4 days to a condo high in the mountains in Jackson, NH. It was fabulous ~~ jacuzzi, hot tub, heated swimming pools outside (we went in the winter, she loved it). She was the best. I wish she didn't have to go through what she did. Well that's it for now.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hello February 17, 2008 7:06 PM

Thank you Hans for the invitation to this special group! I hope I can help at least as much as it's expected of me. Maybe my "line of work" can be useful here (library & information science plus communication and information technologies). The "but" is that I'm from Portugal, and I'm not familiar with the practices and social environments of the countries envolved (those where the pharmaceutical factories and labs are, those where they have the main offices, the countries where they send covert ops for tests in unsuspecting humans, as well as those where they dump what they don't want near them - should I be writing this here? Wont I be abducted in the middle of the night never to be seen again? just joking...). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I'll do my best. If you want me to do some research, fill me in on the details you have, and give me an objective. I do this on spare time, so I can't tell you I'll deliver the next day. But I'll try my best.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Thats very noble of you. ANY information will be gratefully accepted. Any info on natural cures that work or fraudulent pharmaceuticals that don't, any cover-up's or info of that nature too. Anything you have would be appreciated.
Thanx for joining.

something to think about February 19, 2008 8:05 PM

Like Tim said, we should think about the possibility that cures appear when the desease is no longer proffitable. I don't like that thought when it comes to cancer, but my conscience is just mine and I don't really trust the great pharmaceutical labs. One thing that could get them out of the job as it is right now, is something I don't know if you have already discussed, but testes are being made (reliable as far as I know! ) that are on the way to prove that a micro algae called spirulina (which in itself is a super food, vitamins, iron, minerals source) can, when taken in the right amount, boost the immune system of the body in a way that can eliminate several diseases, and some nasties like, minimum, stabilize AIDS (they hadn´t yet the full results of the receding of the condition when I read the article). I stopped by the "main page" to get the link (http://www.spirulina.com/ for you to read about it and they were featuring two articles:
"Spirulina Found to Increase Natural Cancer Fighting Substances in the Body" - http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/02-20-2001/0001431911&EDATE=
and
"
UC DAVIS STUDY SHOWS SPIRULINA BOOSTS IMMUNE SYSTEM"
http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/news/spirulina_study.html

Read about it, everyone, and tell us what you think!

You are definately on my wavelength when it comes to big pharma.
I have moved your spirulina post to a new thread. OK?

Hi all! March 23, 2008 11:13 PM

I have been touched by cancer in many ways in my life.  It has never touched my person, thank God, but I have so much respect for those suffering from the robber of life we know as cancer.  I look forward to discussing topics here.  Each cancer sufferer and survivor is always on my prayer list.

Peace,  Marie    (aka   Ree)

Hi Marie March 24, 2008 2:54 PM

It doesn't seem to be a discussion group so much but rather a mine of information. It would be nice to have some disscussions going on tho. maybe when we get more members it will happen?

This is a link to the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine , they are completely against animal testing, says that they do not feel that the research is reliable.. they have been put up for votes at www.vote4cause.com and are struggleing to get to first place, so if you get a chance, go there and vote. There are many care2 people there, as well as many new faces as well. You can vote every 5 minutes, so, while waiting for your next vote, click on some of their links, as there is lots of very interesting information there. The link to their voting page is http://www.vote4cause.org/Physicians-Committee-for-Responsible-Medicine/chat_vote , and like I said, if you read about them, I think you will like what you read. (this round of voting is over in 2 days 23 hours... but if they don't win, we will be trying again for the next round!)

Hello April 12, 2008 6:28 PM

Hi to everyone and a special thanks to Hans for the invite. I am new to this group and I will try to participate as much as I can. It looks like a great group to be a part of. I hope we can rid the world of catastrophic diseases like cancer in our lifetime so people don't have to suffer anymore. I believe just about everyone has been affected by this disease. My Aunt was in her forties when she died from ovarian cancer. The chemo did more harm than good and she suffered horribly. My regret is that I didn't have the knowledge back then to help her as I have now. I think about that alot. No one should have to endure such suffering. I hope I can help out as much as I can. Trying to make ends meet is stressful enough without having to deal with the corruption and greed of the big pharmacuetical companies, corrupted politicians/governments who are self serving and the worst economy that the U.S. has seen since the great depression. I believe we need to get back to the basics and heal our planet because I feel that these diseases are caused by our polluted air, water and soil. We need drastic measures to reverse the problems we have today. We need to stop the manufacture and use of all pesticides, herbicides or poisons that are not natural. Synthetic fertilizers are also not good to use on our crops. Organic farming is the only solution for a healthy world. We need to treat the land as mother nature intended so that she can heal and only then will we be able to rid the world of these horrific diseases. People need to choose what they are willing to give up. I would rather have aphids on lettuce than to have lettuce that was grown on sterile soil with no life in it. Has anyone ever heard of companion planting? It does work and it's part of organic farming practices. We have to make logical choices so that our children and other life forms on this Earth have a chance for a better and healthier future. We need to take back the control of our country that the big corporations have taken away from us. We need small mom and pop farms and businesses again and not the mega-conglomerates we have today! Why does our government let corporations like Monsanto buy up all the patents for vegetable seeds? Everyone has a right to grow their own! Our government has committed crimes against the people and we need to hold them responsible! I still believe that the more people voice their dissatisfaction with the problems we are having in this country that eventually things will start to change for the betterment of everyone and the world. Thanks to all who have voiced their opinions. I believe one voice does make a difference! Peace and love to all, L.T.

Well said L.T. April 13, 2008 6:29 AM

I agree with all you said. Everyone should start their own vegetable patch in their garden. Even a windowsill can be used to grow things. We have to take back the power from these evil corporations.

Wow, in reviewing this thread, I am truly shocked at just how cancer has touched the lives of so many.

Goddess bless all - with the strength, love and joy necessary to withstand this "dis-ease."

Forgive me for not really being here, but life has been very busy.  Bear with me!  Smile.

Much love to all!  Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done April 15, 2008 2:51 AM

Good for you for starting this group Alf. You're doing great work and I look forward to seeing this group grow and prosper.

This is the only way that cancer will ever be beaten, by people empowering themselves with knowledge - about natural remedies for cancer and about cancer prevention.

Between 1970 and 1990 in the USA alone, the Cancer Industry was worth an estimated ONE TRILLION DOLLARS (Source: the Guardian newspaper)...What it is worth presently is anybody's guess, but with such enormous sums of  money involved no wonder they don't want people to know about the numerous, wonderful free/low cost natural treatments that are available!

And the biggest irony is that despite all the billions spent on cancer research, at present rates,  ONE IN FOUR PEOPLE WILL DIE OF CANCER...

anonymous HELLO! June 24, 2008 9:59 AM

Thank you Hans for the invitation. I'm ready to go where no man has gone before!  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]

Hi Cheryl June 24, 2008 10:04 AM

Yes I have seen that and think it is not much more than a smokescreen. DCA has been around for longer than this report claims and is not the miracle drug they make it out to be. But (big but) it is cheap and unpatentable so all the negative hype could be just that.
Read for yourself:
http://www.healthdirect.co.uk/2008/05/labour-warned-on-diy-cancer-treatments.html

As you will learn from all the links and info on this site there is NO miracle drug that cures cancer and never will be. It is a combination of emergency compounds and lifestyle changes plus healthy fresh and raw food which gets rid of cancer.

Thanks for the invite........... June 24, 2008 11:00 AM

I'm Susan and so far I've been lucky.  My mom had breast cancer twice and had mastectomies.  Luckily, it never returned.  My Dad had colon cancer.  I have a sister who's had breast cancer 3 times.  Numerous aunts and cousins have had breast cancer, too. I have an aunt with colon cancer and lost a dear friend recently to breast cancer.

As I said, I've been lucky so far.  Cancer is on both sides of my family and my daughter needs to be careful as it is runs in his family, too.

Anyway, good to be here.  A little about  myself........I'm an EMT part-time and was a substitute teacher recently.  I am a retired teacher.  I keep plenty busy with my cat Mae-Li.  My husband keeps me busy also.

Hi Alf, everyone :-) June 25, 2008 3:26 AM

And Hans, thank you for the invitation!

Just joined. Cancer gallops in my family- and has impacted so many of my friends. My best friend, Inger, is a survivor of chemotherapy and is experiencing cancer fatigue.

A couple of years ago I came across a video by Jerry Brunneti (spelling?) called Food is Medicine.  In it he shared a great many valuable things... and some of the things that struck me is that, in "modern" medicine,  people are being fed with IV's of glucose (which feeds the cancer tumor/s)  and given morphine, which is NOT the thing to give because it suppresses the immune system.
Incredible!

Hiya Susan and Harmony June 25, 2008 3:48 AM

Welcome to the group. Do not worry about cancer being in the familly it is not a genetic disease that has been disproven time and again. It is more a lifestyle which also tends to run in the familly.
Please take a look at the info on the front page, there's lots of it and you'll find ways to help your loved ones.
Harmony. You are so right about the glucose thing (ridiculous). Modern medicine huh?!

Glad to be back, and I have some info I can share. But that will wait until next week. I want to finish the book I am reading first. Title: Evil Medicine. Wooo Who! It's juicy and it's true and it's heart wrenching all at the same time. But more importantly it is a gold mine of Education!

Hello August 23, 2008 4:39 AM

I put off so long in coming to this site though I was sent an invite some time ago. I suppose with my own issues of health I am feeling overwhelmed and having a lot of trouble now just meeting day to day issues. But however I am feeling, I am very appreciative of the invite.

I've been more or less walking around numb in regard to the news of my associate and friend who has been diagnosed with throat cancer. I suppose it is a strong reminder of the struggle of my late dear uncle's fight with lung cancer, my late father's with lip and throat cancer, my father in law's colon and stomach cancer, and my late mother in law's demise last year with ovarian cancer. Of course it echoes the lives of so many others i have known through the years with cancer and whom have also died from cancer.

I took the time to read all of the posts here and marvel at all of your stories and strength to address this subject matter. It is more than time of course for us as a society to really become involved in what is TRUTH, who are NOT reliable and trustworthy in terms of giving us valid information. The greed in research, medicine, for the pharmasecutical companies is a billion dollar business. So much corruptness and so strangulated in making sure the medical 'industry' responds to what their wishes are, instead of the public, that by now I am sure each of us really want a thorough investigation.

One can see why 'industries' remain lucrative as they are, which is by their continued stealing from those whom are the peoples suffering the most. I have seen the ineffectiveness of those being filled with endless drugs (research for the industry) only to die.

I think with a website as this and ongoing support from all of you it can grow into a very positive advocacy to fight back against the unscrupulous issues many of you have written about to date. Whatever you do, please don't stop offering your stories, as well the valid understandings of alternative medical supports that have and continue to address various types of cancer.

For the most part I 'try' to follow through on the threads, but many times I just don't have enough strength. But I want you to know what you offer is wonderful and inspiring. I wish you all every goodness and blessing to come your way.

Thank you again for the invitation.

Hello August 27, 2008 3:22 PM

not feeling quite that bouncy, on my second encounter with caner of my own. My Father was a British Royal Navy Nuclear Teast Vet and I was conceived just after he got home. At Poly, taking my 1st degree one of my tutors had a bet on with my personal tutot that I wouldn't make it to graduation. I graduated in 1983!

Damn the person who came up with radio therapy, drug therapy and damn the development of opiates as a 'cure ' for the pain of cancer. I faught agaist going onto opiates for ages but my pian specialist promised it would be for 4 weeks until my bilateral mastectomies were done. So now , 4 years on I am a weird half thing with one hell of a legal opiate habit and I am angry but perhaps oneday I will find my femininity again when I can get reconstruction.

I don't blame my Father, bless him , he died of leukeamia, thanks to the government nuke testing programme and damn the drug companies.

There must be a more natural GENTLE cure to this outrage that overtakes our bodies.

I'm good at  , and . Though I love my , , ,,,(fostered) without the water as mine can't swim. I also have lots of  who live in my heart forever. I can't decide if I am a or, wot no bikers! ?

Glad to be with you all, , , ,
