We should also remember to take a look at Prof. E. Emens's work "Monogamy's Law" (http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=506242), which quite nicely demolishes any sort of claim for a "rational" basis for priviliged legal status for monogamy in our society.
In the US and Abroad this issue is not often media friendly. So keep these ideas and any information flowing.

This post refers to my post on announcements, and the website http://www.hrc.org/ source. Hopefully a majority of candidates will show support for not only same sex marriage but needed services like Anti-Discrimination Laws, stiffer penalty for Hate Crimes, Health Care Equallity, expansion of Next of Kin Status and Powers of Attourney to include those of same sex or those like us in Alternative Lifestyles and Relationships.
These and many more issues are important for all mankind to consider, and benefit not just those who are Gay, Lesbian Bisexual, Trangender, or Polyamoris, and Straight; but their neighbors; and their neighbors neighbors and so on and the quality of life provided by others like doctors lawyers and employers.

A governed people is a peaceful people, not because they Have to Be, but because they Should Be.
Many of us are interested in who will be our next President, Congressmen, and Justices after the election. This is an important decision, since it will affect how our freedoms will be interpreted for the next 4 years at least; so I want to encourage all of you voting to be informed of the possible candidates.
Do look outside the mainstream media blitz of Dem vs Rep; and consider the other valid candidates in our diverse political environment. Do not be intimidated to vote your conscience or to speak out against those who would deny your right to protest. There are No wasted votes, and No personal or civic freedoms that can be justifiably sacrificed. Be Informed and Vote.
I personally support the Green Party of the United States [http://gp.org] choice for President, and am currently researching the Pacific Green Party [http://www.pacificgreens.org/] candidates for my state electors. I find the Green Party values closely match my own more than other political parties I have researched.
I will try to gather some other party websites, and post them here before the election.
