I signed, Cynthia. Hope it helps, but I don't think it will. We have close to a thousand names on our two petitions. Folks do what they want. Laws protecting civil rights don't seem to work adequately any longer, if they ever did. I wrote:
Cynthia, you are preaching to the choir. You don't even want to know what I endure for trying to get accountability regarding the 2003 secret arrest and wrongful death of Larry Neal, my mentally and physically handicapped brother. I am literally under self-imposed house arrest because people follow and accost me when I leave home for asking "WHAT HAPPENED TO LARRY NEAL?" And the censorship and cyberstalking are really awful! I am so sorry for your abuse and denial of recourse. I must warn you that if you continue to demand justice online, folks might be assigned to censor you. If that doesn't work, they may follow and accost you or worse. It's a zoo. We had no one to warn my family that's the way things are. You ask should your records of your call to police be denied admissability in court. At least you have access to records, even if they don't allow the jury to hear the call. They won't give us diddly squat about Larry's secret arrest and jail death. Cynthia, if your phone records pertaining directly to the case you are pursuing cannot even be admitted in court, I'd say you're headed for a TKO. When we sued The Cochran Firm for defrauding us as Larry's wrongful death attorneys (holding the case inactive for 10.5 mo. of the 12-mo statute of lim) the firm claimed not to have an office in Atlanta where we served suit. Guess what? The case was dismissed on that basis, and they never closed shop on Peachtree St. or stopped advertising for a single day. Can you beat that?
This is not a CIVIL trial but a criminal one. The local government is giving problems just admitting crucial evidence such as police phone records and videotapes for the dates in question.
Mary and all Care2 Friends, would you please support me by reading, signing, and forwarding to as many friends, family, colleagues, and organizations that will simply post the petition on the websites or will get further involved.
Mary, will you ask Davida or anyone else directly involved with Amnesty International if they will post the petition on their website as well. I sent a message to them and got a reply to nature of we cannot reply to all messages???? Also, will you please forward my petition and your endorsement to the more than 2,000 signers and supporters that you had on your petitions. And, maybe mention my situation on one of your radio broadcasts so that others can hear about it and possibly respond.
Within the petition, I also asked for donations so that I may continue to pay my defense attorney for services. But what I mainly need is support and advocacy.
AM I REALLY EXPENDABLE AS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT IS MAKING ME? BECAUSE I AM SERIOUSLY STARTING TO THINK SO.

Mary, I've had another stroke and my speech is impaired once more. The petitions are live and I wrote them to help gain support to have the local government see that others see that my constitutional rights are being violated once more. For some reason, when people see the word police, you are automatically guilty. The first petition had the details outlined and didn't gain much support.
I've asked continuously for support and advocacy, which includes how to write the petitions to make more of an impact, to have someone put my information on one of their websites, and etc. to no avail. I would just like to be treated like a human being. I advertised your Atlanta March everywhere. Notified all of my friends via e-mail, by word of mouth, and copying and pasting your information from AIMI and placed it on any website that I owned, including the domain I own.
I appreciate the fact that you sent me proof that you sent out the petition link and I thank you for all of your help but I do want to let you know how disappointed I was when I read your message on the petition itself.
I am so sorry that things turned out the way they did with your family's situation and I wish that I could have helped you much more than I did but I was involved after the fact and publicized all I could because we are Care2 Family.
Again, I state that this is not a civil trial, but a criminal one, and I am being destroyed so that a crooked cop can continue to hurt civilians.
I've also noticed that my news story is right next to the story about the officer who acted quickly. At no point have I ever stated that all cops were bad but when they are dirty, they are filthy and the good ones support the filthy ones quite often. Again, that code of silence.
Society is so judgemental in that if cops say you're guilty, then you are guilty. If the local government gets their way to silence me and to keep me from suing them, then I just might end up incarcerated and mentally ill. I wonder if I will get more support then.
I thank GOD that I have 250 signatures within a span of less than 5 days. I thank all who have signed and will sign because i have an unyielding faith in my human counterparts that this petition and the other activists on this site and others will promote this situation into the world's eyes and stop this travesty of justice.
All I've just asked for Assistance While I Am Un-Incarcerated and Going Insane! (AUIGI) so that I don't end up Incarcerated and Mentally Ill!
