If you really don't have time to cook,
this recipe is a great idea! You will eat something healthy, easy and home-made. Don't buy ready made sauce. You can prepare your own in just aout 15 minutes!
3 serves with 500g of pasta.
1-2 tbsp rape-seed oil/sunflower oil
1 small onion , finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp dried basil
75g tomato puree/paste
1 tbsp sugar
400ml milk
salt and pepper
Put the onion and crushed garlic into a frying pan with 1-2 tbsps of oil. Let it soften. Don't let garlic turn brown, it gets bitter then. When all have nicely softened add tomato puree/paste and dried basil, stir and fry for a minute. Then pour the milk, add sugar and wait until it boils. The sauce is going to thicken. Let it simmer for a while. If it gets too thick add some more milk or water. If it's too thin add more tomato puree. Spice it all up with salt and pepper.
