So good to see you, Pulse! Happy New Year!
Vallee, great family pic!
Anyone who hasn't checked out my New Years' wishes for you in this ecard yet, please do so! ![]()
They sure so look pretty though Val. They must give off a very nice light when the sun shine through them.
Well, have to go and try to do some work. It's been a bit of a struggle. I have not been well and I just can't figure out why. I am feeling like a whinner again.
Ok, so everyone here have a great day and we'll see what tomorrow brinds. Hopefully I will chat with you all then!

Thanks Val. I am having quite the struggle as I said. Wish I could fix or at least figure out what is going on with me. I am getting extremely frustrated! It is getting to the point that I am just breaking down and crying throughout the day.
LOL! Just looked at my last post! I can't spell or what? I just said we'll see what tomorrow "brinds". How silly...........Good thing everyone knows what I mean.
Well, must lay down for a bit. with a little luck I will be able to head out and do some shopping.
Perhaps I will find some pretty bottle and try that neat little trick of colored water in them. So very pretty looking. Yet such a simple idea. I thank you for sharing that idea Val. Hey maybe I should have put that under the I am thankful thread.
I did leave a posting under that thread but I think it got lost in cyber spaace. Don't know what happened. Think I might have hit a wrong button or ??? who knows. Maybe it will show up. If not I will just return later today and let you know again.
Have a good one people! ![]()
Patricia, how about writing down all of your symptoms & then researching what can cause those symptoms?
Here's a couple of websites that might help:
http://www.medicinenet.com/symptoms_and_signs/article.htm
Then maybe you could find some natural remedies to help... ![]()
Vallee,
for your decorative bottles, inexpensive & creative!
Thank God for my Chiropractor who I saw today! My heart has been beating hard periodically, so I had him check my pulse & blood pressure, which he said was fine. He told me to drink some Gatorade for the electrolytes, which I did, & with the treatment he gave me, I'm feeling pretty good!
Sandra - What an interesting idea. I do think though that I will fill up several journals with just my symptoms alone! LOL! Just kidding of course. Perhaps it is worth a try. I am seriously looking into getting off all medication and trying to go the more natural path. I have already dropped a couple of the medications I was on and I am only taking 4 on a daily basis now. I found that in the long run most of the medications have really messed me up.
Need to find out a lot more information about several types natural remedies. Is it just me, or do a lot of doctors just want to push pills on you? Maybe it is different in other countries or maybe it is just my experience. If anyone else has an opinion here let's hear it.
Hey there Val! Thanks, I am feeling better today! I am taking things one day at time. Never made it out yesterday. Never even so much as got dressed. this is starting to be the usual for me and it really has to stop. Blah blah blah. I am tired of hearing myself complain.
Nice full moon picture! Haven't look outside at night for a while. I used to do that often and watch the stars. Perhaps I will start checking them out again. Maybe I will get lucky and see another "falling star".
Sandra - Glad to hear that you too are felling better! Had a little chuckle to myself when I read your comment on drinking Gatorade because it has electrolytes. You see, there is this move called Idiocracy (a comedy) and in it the people in the year 2205 drink a Gatorade like drink (rip off brand) because it has electrolytes and they think it works miracles. No offense to you, but this movies is so dumb it's worth the laugh. If you get a chance check it out guys.
Enough from me. Hope everyone has a good day, as I am hoping I am. Later then!

Patricia, it's good to hear so much from you!
I think doctors tend to push pills too. Good for you for getting off 2 of your medications!
Here's some sites for natural remedies:

Vallee, nice moon pic! Sorry to hear about your latency issues. ![]()
Patricia - I know what movie you are talking about - is that the one that the guy tries to tell them about using water to grow plants? Is funny.
And yes - doctors are partially paid by the pharmaceutical companies so they need to push pills - my husband has also taken himself off some due to the side effects - we have a cool MD and she is aware of that - I really need the ones I am on - allergy and anxiety but right now it's also ibuprofen and muscle relaxants until the tension in this house goes down -
Sandra - thanks for the links - want to go to gym and hubby not feeling well and am behind today helping him. All have a great day!
Sounds as if you both are doing OK - and Patricia - don't beat yourself up - do one thing a day - that's progress.
Sandra - Thanks for the sites! Will definitely check them out later. I need all the help I can get.
Val - That's the movie alright. Seen it a couple of times and laugh at it each time. Odd thin is I can really see a world that is "dumbing down".
Did a lot of work today. Feel good about it mentally but boy oh boy, am I ever paying for it now physically. Is there no happy medium?? Is it an all or nothing way with me and why can't I change it??? Just wondering. Perhaps I am too old to change. At least I am willing to try though.
Later tonight I am going to watch the movie "The Help". Sounds like it should be a good one. Will let you know how well it goes tomorrow.
Thanks for all the advice!!

make a list of things you want to get done - then highlight or star the ones you feel you must do - when you finish those see how tired you are - may be they can wait until the following day - I used to feel that I would then be behind - but rather I discovered that somethings just weren't all that important and will get done eventually. Just a thought. SOunds as if you are trying to play catch-up on certain days and that tires you out - balance - just like your avatar is the key to a healthy life. Would love to see what you think about the movie - regarding "dumbing us down" - yes they are.
Sandra - we only got a dusting of snow but they predicted that - today cold but worse the corner of the street where I walk Baby was like a skating rink but she was nice and waited until we got to asphalt to run.
Perhaps we need a new thread for this topic of life Sandra. What do you think? It can be a very long discussion. I have several thoughts on life. Unfortunately, like Val, I have a ton of things to do this morning and I have fallen way, way behind. As per usual!!
I will say this though, I do believe that we are here to learn and in a sense to grow by the learning that we do. I am not sure if what I believe is really reincarnation but I think that perhaps we can come back again to learn again/more. Learning is knowledge and knowledge is power. Power brings us closer to the Creator.
Short form.
Val - You are right! I am always playing catch up. That is why I like the yin yang so much. It seems all my life I have been striving to reach a balance in my life. The ever elusive balance!! lol More on that later.
As for the movie - Idiocracy - I think it is very funny. Kids made me buy it a while ago and I thought it was going to be just another stupid movie , (which in a way it is) but it does make me laugh. Very important. I like the way the people progressively became dumber implying that "trailer trash" multiply like bunnies while educated people don't. Hilarious stereotyping!!
