Introducing Me November 23, 2004 4:45 PM

Hi. I am called Daniel in this current incarnation. I was born in the land called Texas back in 1958. I remember as a child I played with the other boys at games of war, then one day I awoke to the conclusion that sending someone into battle to obtain a materialistic goal was not such a great thing. I began to see that soilders were being used as pawns to obtain someone elses goals. I could for some odd reason see the soilders on the other side were really not so differant from the ones on this side. Their dream and goals were almost the same. The wars and battles were fought not against good and evil but brother against brother. Maybe I am crazy to think that Christ and Buddha were onto something when they taught us to live simply and seek not to molest our fellow humans, but thats how I chose to beleive.

Now days I am called a light worker, some even call me whitelighter or white paladin. I try as I can to bring light to the trouble spots around the globe and I try to teach those near at hand to live simply. I have been a praticing reiki master for 8 years. I have had visions and dreams all my life and have seldom stopped remembering to keep the sacred alive in my life. Well that enough about me I suppose, lets get to work.

  Love Light and Laughter

   Daniel

Me too November 25, 2004 5:39 AM

I'm also in TX, but only recently I'm Jill, a massage therapist still in school getting further education. I'm a doula and a student of lay midwifery in Jeannine Parvati Baker's Hygieia College. I am also extremely interested in crystals (I have a crystal healing group here @ care2, very quiet tho). I hope to spend my "retirement" as an international aid worker for some NGO or another, that's a long time away, prolly not as long as I think! Reiki is what I hope to learn next, and I hope to be able to combine massage with Reiki and crystals. So far I've made a wonderful massage oil with pink and green tourmaline and rose quartz, it's very healing to both the heart and body. That's all for me! Love Jill  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I am so grateful to have the oppurtunity to meet up with other Lightworkers, and I thank you all for sharing your Light in this community!

anonymous Intro November 28, 2004 5:49 PM

Greetings everyone,

my name is Sylvrena, i live in southern california and its nice to be here. I'm not a lightworker, but i do enjoy the feeling that i get when i help others or create for others. right now i'm sort of unemployed, i quit my jobs two months ago due to so much stress and i ahted all the tension and how it made the people around me so angry all the time. i realized that ive  always been empathatic and thats part of the problem that made me stressed and unhappy all the time. right now i'm working on my own business, making candles and soaps.. its hard when you don't have enough $$ to really get going, and i'm not a shrewd business woman either..

but the point is it makes me happy, it makes me feel good when i give or sell my candles and see the joy iy brings to other people when they like the look of it or the scent. in a way this heals me as it may help others.

i also  realized that people , even complete strangers always feel they can present their life story to me.. i think maybe i should be a counselor or some type of healer..  people tell me how i can relate to them well or always make them laugh or feel better..

i am trying to figure out what my path still is, what can i do that will make me happy and be able to make others happy...

i guess i was drawn to this lightworker group and hope to learn more about others and myself.. and how to be happy and exude happiness

just turned 30 and dont want to get into another meaningless job.. looking to find out how i can support myself and do something that makes sense to me

well enough blabbing

thanks for listening

BB, Sylvrena

Shine a light together February 11, 2005 11:37 AM

Hi,

I already posted something to another topic, but why not doing a "proper" presentation here... I'm a lightworker, yes, with all my heart... I'm a daydreamer too, dreaming of the world where the light is gonna shine bright in the hearts on everyone, where fear and hatred no longer have power over anyone's mind or soul... and you know what: once I've started this dreaming, I'M NEVER GONNA STOP!!! Never stop loving, never stop keeping my candle burning, never stop spreading the light!

True love prevails.

Hello February 13, 2005 8:45 AM

Hello my name is Oren Heart Powers.

I was praying the other night and felt guided to honor the 8 sacred virtues for each direction like a medicine wheel. The energies of each virtue was very strong.

During this ceremony I could only move in a circle either one way or the other, staying in each virtue until it felt healed and balanced until I returned around to center. The virtues were:

W--Devotion
SW--Perseverance
S--Expansiveness
SE--Balance
E--Introspection
NE--Ascension
N--Nothingness
NW--Birth
W--Devotion

One of the prayers was: "May the 8 virtues be like 8 doorways through which all good things in the universe enter the world through my life."

I am mindful of these virtues wherever I go. I think of them as energy more than values. Energy that needs attention and balancing in order to operate.

I am also the host of the DreamWeavers' Guild group on dreaming.

Peace b with u,

Oren Heart Powers

Hello to all you Lightworkers!

My name is Tamara, age 34 and from the Netherlands. I,ve been involved with a group of lightworkers in Holland and Belgium for almost a year now. Got Reiki 1 and 2 initiations a couple of years ago and next week I,m starting a course to become a colour therapist aswell. I also know quit a lot about chrystals and herbs. After years of working on and with myself (hihi)  and trying to help a lot of friends and family, I think that I'll be ready to help more people once a get my degree as a colour therapist. I,ve always found it difficult to have a "normal" dayjob and fit into this society and the regular rules and regulations, and especially other peoples expectetions. Because I live on welfare here the social services think they can decide what I should do and for a long time I felt a lot of pressure from them. It made me really depressed until I decided that I had to go my own way and do my own things. I don't know what the future will bring me but one thing I know for shore. It's my path to help others help themselves! And isn't that what Lightworkers do? Help yourself first and then help others help themselves. I think thats about enough for an introduction don't you?  lots of Love and Light to you all and keep up the good work!

As a child, i have seen things, encountered by unusual spirits all my life, and those progressed the older i got. I am friends with many old souls and mainly a shaman as well. He is one the most wonderful people i know. My practices are usually of healing, curse removal, communing with spirits of this plane and the dream plane as well. I see futuristic happenings at times. I do what I do.

I really don't know how to introduce myself, but I thought it would be nice to write something. So here I am telling you I don't know what to tell. I just try to help the people in my surroundings and try to be friendly to everyone, sometimes serious, sometimes with humor. Even when I don't agree with someone I try to tell it in a gentle way.

I'm not telling you I never get angry. I sometimes do, specially when I'm tyred, but I try to become a stable person with inner peace and strenght who can be a help for others.

Well ... this was my introduction...

These things are always so difficult to write. I am 48, mother to five children (three still at home and one who lives next door as a member of our forward-looking intentional community of Havenhold.

My mother passed on to me healing arts she's learned as a child, and I took that gift with me when I travelled to live in Hawaii, in Kenya, and now to my home in the N.E. mountains of Arizona. My father's gift was the ability to "see" what others cannot always ... to sense the body, the mind, and the heart. This came much in handy as a counselor, and even more as a writer.

I am the "house mom" for our experimental living environment, and am working with the Whitewind Foundation as well, to teach others to see from within themselves, to prepare themselves (internally and externally) for the changes we all sense ... and in preparation to learn to be ready without being afraid.

How's that for a starter intro?

Hi all!

I am Charlotte, Carlow, Ireland. I´d like to learn how to control/use my light powers!?

I can`t afford expensive courses as I only teach singing part time. I am 36 years old and emmigrated from Denmark to Ireland 2 years ago. My parents are astrologers so my childhood was filled with " strange " people and yet it was also lonely, but I suppose it is only natural for spirits, who are special like in this group!

I am very pleased to meet you all!

Hugs, Charlotte.

Hi everyone!  Its not easy to find the words to introduce myself, since I've gotten used to finding explanations that are easy for most people to understand. However, I think you all can understand and I'm not sure I have the words!

Well, I'm a lightworker too.  A person who works with healing energy.  I've been connected to the inner, divine world since I can remember, and have grown.  I am guided by inner guides, Christ, and angels and God. Lately I'm intentionally connecting to my (our) Mother, seeking to understand what it means to be a woman in the world.  I was so close to the earth as a kid, I could feel her.  I remember and lately, some of my drawings, songs and just spiritual life generally has been bringing me back to her.

In my life I have had a lot of health problems, and it has been my journey to learn what they have to teach me, and how to heal myself, within. A healer who can heal amost anything once backed off and told me he couldn't help me.  Just this month, I found out he was inwardly led to tell me that.  It's been good that he did.

I work mostly on  myself, these days, working with the chakras and various parts of the body, which have their own energies, memories, visions, and through all kinds of inner work - visualization, meditation, working with my guides - I have been able to find/receive healing.

I am faithful on the path, but fearful.  I'm supposed to be an artist, and I'm almost at the point where I can receive that gift. (I do have a degree in Drawing, and a studio that I get to once in awhile...)  I have so many fears, some brought over from one or two past lives.  Much of what I'm doing now is to become more aware and let that fear go, so I can go on.

Now and then, I treat other people, animals or plants.  It's so humbling when this happens because they get better and I really feel I'm a channel of love into other people's lives!

I should say I've had 1st level Reiki training in the Usui system, and was fortunate to learn the traditions and hand positions and to join that community.  We had a Reiki ministry at my church for a year and a half.  The minister found out there were 8 practitioners in the church and got us together!  we treated 8 people in a night, once a week.

That said, I don't feel I do "Reiki" per se, so I'm going to say, "healing." And I feel these abilities were given to me by God, long before that.

That's probably more than enough  for an introduction!

Oh! I'm 30 and I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Love and peace, Rachel.

Hi,

I'm Caer and I live in FL with my daughter and parents.  I'm an empath and seems I have the ability to rid people of pain with the proper touch of my hands - that is fairly new and I'm still working on it - my nurse-practitioner suggested reading and learning more about Reiki as when I do a session I still have problems with my own body's reaction to the pain coming into me LOL!  I'm better at getting rid of it or at least "boxing it up" then releasing in (no more getting sick) but I have alot to learn I can tell!  I feel very blessed to have inherited these gifts from my grandfather and his family and that I can use them to help people.  I have been using crystals and herbs for quite awhile - now it's time to use my own natural "elements".  Thanks for accepting me into the group and I look forward to learning and sharing and getting to know y'all!

Caer February 02, 2006 8:03 PM

Hi Caer!  That's been my  problem too, taking in the energy others give off when I'm giving them healing.  I guess you have to say a prayer and ask from an open heart, that you not receive the person's ailments and that they not receive yours.  That's how you can keep from getting it.  That's what my Reiki teacher and another healer, and my own practice tells me.

Sometimes it doesn't work though, for me, and I think it's because I don't always pray with an open heart... sometimes I don't really expect to receive that protection.  Then it's inner work again to relieve what's blocking me from opening my heart to Love's protection....

What is an Empath?  You feel what's wrong?  Or something else?

Peace, Rachel.

I can feel other peoples emotions/feelings.  Gets overwhelming when I'm out in public sometimes - especially in crowds.  Luckily I've learned how to put up a shield fairly well - learning how to do a couple other ones too... my daughter is an empath also so I'm teaching her how to put up shields early so she can have it a bit easier in life - much better to learn at 16 then at 36 I believe!  Luckily I have a nurse-practitioner who believes in the whole mind-body-spiritual connection so we (my daughter and I) get alot of information from him.

Thanks for the tips on what to do with the energy!  I'm getting better at it - but every bit of advice helps!!!

Blessings Everyone February 05, 2006 12:09 PM

Its nice to meet you all...Im sure some of you know me from my poetry.....

I have been a light worker all my life...My mother was a reader...So I studied many things in my younger years....

And I have done what ive been called to do at different stages...I worked with animals even as a small child..I seemed to have a natural healing ability....I too have worked with children and in special education..I also worked with the elderly.

.I have also done readings at different times in my life..The ones I was drawn to most were those in pain...Especially emotionally...Areas of the heart...I have a calming, soothing way about me and people felt better after talking to me..Ive never quite understood it...But after years of it happening, you stop denying it..

..I have always wrote but never shared my writing...Until the last couple of years..First with friends...But this last year I have been pushed to share even with strangers..Which was scary for me to do..

I keep expecting people to say oh no not another of jaz's poems...

I really dont know what else to say but, I hope you all have a wonderful week and Its nice to meet you all........hugzz..jaz.

I just wanna comment - Caer, you wrote Laughter and light at the end of your letter.  Laughter is so important! I didn't know that until recently.  My friend Stephanie came to me as an angel, to teach me to play, and I've received various messages about playing and remembering the joy of living, and not taking everything so seriously, or only working.  It's so important!

I even went to Laughter yoga classes! It sure makes you feel good!  You start to see things more postiviely becaue you are making yourself physically happy!!!!  You laugh for no reason, and your being finds the reasons why you are laughing, so then you are laughing together and everyone is happy! even when they weren't before.  And sometimes, it makes you cry, because it touches you deeply when you laugh deeply, and the pain can come up, but then you are healed by those around you who have allowed themselves to be vulnerable enough to look silly with you, by laughing as if they were little children, and, we all are, beautiful and innocent as little children!

So, thank you for wishing us laughter and love!

Joy to you!  Rachel   Singer.

Hi Fay!  Good to meet you!  what are the Kryon Writings?  Peace, Rachel.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi Rachel February 14, 2006 4:25 PM

Good to meet you as well. I grew up in Minnesota which borders Canada. And you speak French. How cool is that! Kryon writings can be found at http://www.kryon.com You could call Kryon an Angel, Entity, Part of Spirit, Universal Energy with Consciousness, Master of the Magnetic Grid, as she/he is responsible for the adjusting of our magnetic grid presently and partly for the change of the Earth's energy. I find those writings fascinating and exciting. I had a lot of theories for years which I never saw in print until I started reading Kryon. So much of it just rang true for me. Others might like a lot of the other channels who are out there being represented. There are 10 books and hundreds of channelings on the web site. I would just pick the topics of interest on occasion of the Q & A section. The one about dolphins being other wordly is great. Kryon's messages are always of love and positive and uplifting. And he tells us we are always dearly loved from the rest of the Entourage beyond the veil who are here to help and support us. Cheers, Fay  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Well! Thanks, Fay! That sounds great.  Kryon seems to say things that make sense to me, too!  Did you see my post in about 8 different discussion groups? It was called Healing the Earth, and in it, I told of a site called "fire the grid," you might be interested in.  It's asking everyone to meditate at a certain time on July 17th, 2007 to re energize the earth's grid, or perhaps, the grid of energy that unites humanity as a species, so that Spirit can more easily help us and so we can do things collectively more easily.  I think it's just at www.firethegrid.com... something like that.  I'll have to see if I can read up on Kryon.  I'm aware of channelling and of angels and Love with me, so that doesn't seem strange to me or anything

Yes, I speak French!  I'm not a francophone, just a francophile, as they call us.  I took French Immersion in school, and now I teach in French Immersion Catholic schools in my city.  I'm not Catholic, but I am Christian - and I say I 'm in school*s* because I'm substitute teaching, so I'm all over the city, wherever they call me to.

Why? Do YOU speak French?  Si c'est le cas on peut se parler de temps en temps en francais!  Heaven knows I need to practice up.  I also tutor in French, and, since the time I gave my student a wrong answer, a couple of months ago, I always am checking my dictionary to make sure I'm right!!!  They're paying me good money, so I would feel bad if I misinformed her!  I haven't given her a wrong answer, since!  Actually, my French is very good, from all reports.

Minnesota doesn't border my province, but I think you guys border our neighbour, Manitoba, right?  I'm going to check the atlas.  -- found the globe -- Yeah, you're pretty far East of us, into Manitoba.  It's Montana and North Dakota that border Saskatchewan.  I always get them mixed up: you have so many "M--a" states, it seems!  Lots of states!  How do you keep them all straight?!   We only have 13 provinces and territories and some people get mixed up even at that!   (The geographically-challenged I guess

Well, cool.  Anyway, the land flows despite the borders and national differences.  The land is one, and we are all humans on this land.  So, our hearts and energy and love and gratitude  remind us of this unity.  And that's the important thing.

Thanks for writing!  Take care, Rachel.

Hi Fay again - I looked at your profile: you're in Arizona now!  That's a long way from home.  How did you get there?

What you list as your top causes are wonderful: positive manifesting and loving-energy-sending-out are things I would love to hear more about, as I've been doing work with that in my life, and would like to know how it's going for you, and how you got THERE.

Blessings all, Rachel.

Hi Rachel ! I have been away from the site here for a while ... so I haven't seen your posts yet, will look for them, as I become refamiliarize myself with everything. I have been involved in some world joint meditation "experiments" -- will check that out., too Thanks for the URL as well. I started reading that site and am looking forward to going back to it in a short while. I adore French, took it in h.s. and college, but had to study 5 hours to every other 1 hour on other subject. I enjoy watching foreign art films to hear different languages and see different places which I can't travel to just yet. I think you said something along the lines of "I happen to get the opportunity to speak a little French from time to time." Did I get that right? North Dakota is a very close neighbor to Minnesota. Those of us in the "rura"l rough Midwest parts of the US are used to jumping in our car to run to Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis without a second thought. When I moved out East folks didn't want to drive 10-15 MINUTES from home. I found that a different culture. I don't keep all the states straight. I learn them as I travel there and not a minute before, LOL. I moved from Minnesota because of my now husband. He wanted to move back East. Didn't take him long to regret that decision. We both are water babies and love fishing and being on and in the water. He does scuba and we both snorkel. He whined so much I said "Ok you moved here, I always want to see NY so we went out and looked around through several states, Maine included, and we moved to the Albany area for 3 years. Then to CT where it was even more polluted. 9-11 really was hard on everyone in that area. We were just about 1.7 hours from NYC. So 7 years later went around the country looking for a place like Minnesota without the humid summers. Flagstaff has huge Ponderosa Pines and is rustic. Phoenix is only 1.75 hours away, so I picked this area. I love shopping in Scottsdale. My husband would like to live in Santa Barbara but he loves it here too. CA too expensive for us. It was a long and interesting journey through my life to where I am now. At one point I realized that we are *ALL* LightWorkers, altho some people are afraid or un-interested to accept that. My husband and I are natural healers and that was discovered by necessity, trial and error, reading and the aha experience. I discovered Kryon a number of years ago, and 2 years ago got to go to a live channeling. I find that I prefer reading, but it was all interesting. Have you heard of the Japanese water experiments? http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/nov1/cwater.htm They did the same thing with rice, too, and these experiments have been duplicated by LightWorker type groups. Did you know that Lee Carroll who now channels Kryon was an Engineer and resisted his role as channel for years? He even refused to write what Kryon said in his first book. You can tell when you read it. Parts seem to be missing. Before the live channeling I asked him if something was left out. He said yes. His wife knew for years that he was going to be a channel. My husband has that doubting Chemistry major sort of mind, and until he read Kryon he thought everything I valued was Voo Doo and Woo Woo. Sort of like acupuncture. He had stomach gas until he had acupuncture for 3-4 months and never had it ever again. He came to believe that acupuncture was not Voo Doo. Those Kryon books totally changed the way we communicate on an intellectual level about Spirituality. I patiently wait for him to discover the very great powers that he has. In the meanwhile I am working to master my emotions and my thoughts. Good to meet you Rachel. cheers, Fay  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Fay, hello!  And hi to everybody!

I like how you ended off, saying you're working on mastering your motions and thoughts.  Sounds like it's frustrating that your husband doesn't see all that's possible!  I know how it is.  I don't have a husband, but for a long time my Mom disapproved and was afraid of my father and I exploring these different things.  Now she's gotten used to it all and is interested in learning some stuff.  I guess you can't do others' discovering for them!  Anyway, her religious upbringing didn't prepare her for meditation, awareness of the spirit world or some toher stuff both my dad and I do.  So you can see where she's coming from.

Yes! I'm familiar with the water experiments!  In fact, I took Masaru Emoto's book into a few high school classes with me when I went to substitute teach, and told the kids about it: with the point that what we say to each other makes a huge difference to how we feel and become.  Most of the class thought it was very interesting.  There was one in every class who thought it was balogna!  [Mmmm... bologne! I used to love that until I became a vegetarian! ]  That's pretty neat!  I loved the crystals.  THey are so beautiful.

Well, you weren't so far off with the French... I wrote something like, Si c'est le cas, on peut se parler en francais de temps en temps.  It means, If that's the case, we can talk to each other in French from time to time.

I'm feeling ... unbalanced right now.  Been doing a lot of energy shifting - unloading myself of a lot of unhealthy patterns and feelings of expectation and obligation and fear of lack.  So, it's good!  But I just feel under the weather and not so focussed... maybe the obligations gave me focus before - well, that would be ok, that means now I am free to determine my own focus in life.

Anyone had that experience before after a big change?

Peace. I am going to play music and then call my friend.  Rachel.

Hi Rachel, February 22, 2006 8:38 PM

So sorry being so long to get back to you. Yes, I think a lot of LightWorkers are going through tiredness and illness. I don't know what we would do without the internet to keep track of what is going on in the Universe, eh? Hope you are feeling more perky! My horse was injured in the Fall and I rode him for the first time today. He did great. Short trail ride. More tomorrow! Take care - Fay  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Hi, I'm Joanne. I am a lightworker.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Mom and etc. March 03, 2006 9:34 PM

Hi Stephanie!  Hi Fay and Joanne!  How are you all and everybody else?  I hope you are well!

Could you send peace, prayers and comfort toward my mom tonight?  She is at the hospital because she had chest pains.  Dad took her in around 5pm and it is 11 right now.  They said we might as well go home because they would have to take more tests around midnight and not have results till 1 am or 2am.  She was feeling a lot better when I went to see her around 8:30pm.  I think she'll be OK, but it is worrying because I only have my one Mommy and 5 of her brothers and sisters and both parents passed away due to heart problems. We pray for a full recovery and a long healthy life for her!!

Fay, I'm feeling a lot better myself now, thanks.  Nice to know that was normal though.  I just had two weeks of full time teaching at a local highschool.  The teacher was off sick, so I got to teach for her.  It was good experience.  Lots of good learning - I planned it all for the 2 weeks, using her resources.  It is soo much easier - or at least less work - to teach highschool, rather than elementary school.  HS is only 4 classes a day, whereas elementary is about 8 to 10 classes a day.  And more kids.  One of my hs classes had 19 kids only!  The elementary ones rarely have less than 25 and usually around 30.

But we're talking about lightworkers. Well, I hope 've worked some light around these kids.  They've done that for me.  Despite needing to get after them, we have a good relationship, making jokes and stuff, and getting things done.  When I said I didn't know if I was coming back Monday, they said I should just do it, since I'd been there so long they figured it was my class now!  It's nice when kids say things like that to you.  (Sorry for their teacher though *sheepish grin*) I do enjoy them.  But it's taking away from my art time.  I feel so much more alive when I'm creating.  I wish I could get so that I feel as alive and real when I teach as I do when I am drawing.  Or just take a leap of faith and be a full-time artist, and be a resource artist in the schools and get my kid-fix that way.

Fay, how is your horse? did it fall?  It's nice they don't just shoot horses anymore when they get injured, like they did in the old days -- in the movies   Do you give it healing?  You are the one who said she was always helping the sheep and calves as a child, when they got hurt, right?  That's so good.  You must have a ranch then, with a lot of horses, do you?

Hmm... I always loved the prairie and felt close to Mother Earth.  But I was brought up a city-girl.

Better go get some sleep.  Hope you all do too.  Blessings, Rachel.

Hi.  I thought I better updateyou all on how my mother is doing.  I mentioned she had chest pains Friday.  Well, she had some tests adn they determined she should have bypass surgery, planned for today.  But then she had pains on Monday after having visitors or walking a little, so they arranged the surgery for Tuesday morning, first thing.  The doctors are excellent, and the surgeon is amazing.  He fixed her up, and she is out of intensive care in a mid-way ward.  She was eating a little today, and walking a small bit in the room.  Mostly sleeping though.  Thank you to Joanne and others who were praying for us during this time.  Dad and I have been doing some healing on her to help her get better.

As for me, I'm getting all these tingly bits all over my body - arm, legs, lips, neck.  I wonder if I 'm picking up stuff from her or from the other patients.  Or if I'm blocking energy by being so stressed out.  There have been few times in my life I have felt so stressed and upset.  Better go have supper.  Light and peace, Rachel.

Glad to hear your mom is recovering.  She is in my thoughts, and I'm still sending healing her way.

The tingling you are getting could be the energy moving through you.  It's an amazing force, and when we have set intent to help someone, Energy surely does it's work.

Keep smiling... and keep the faith,

 March 09, 2006 8:07 PM

Hi Stephanie!  Thanks for your encouragement.  And thanks for sending healing to my Mom!  I'm sure it's really helping her.

About the energy making the tingling... actually, I haven't been all that focussed on my Mom's healing to have lots of energy flow.  Sad to say, more energy has been focussed on being mad at my aunt and cousin for ...something I won't go into.  Anyway, I prayed about that for awhile and was so angry and frustrated and feeling disrespected and worried -- more about the thing with them than about my Mom -- and eventually, today, after a few days of that, God showed me compassion ie. showed me how to be compassionate to them and forgive and love them and understand.  And my body's still having unusual feelings (sparks, tingling, quick pains and aches) but I feel much more relaxed and released now.  and feel some better.

I don't know.  It could be energy flowing, but it feels more like blocked energy pooling up and trying to get out, than energy flow - that's usually an open, life-giving flow that makes me jump and move my body in different directions till it aligns, and usually, the chakras would feel like they're being purified, and energy flowing out in all directions.  Not like this, with cold and numbness and tingling.  It's so strange.

...I'm not trying to contradict you, just trying to figure it all out....

Ahhhh....... blessings.

Peace, Rachel.

energy blockages.. March 09, 2006 10:22 PM

Rachel *hugs*

After setting intent on helping someone, our Higher self still sends to that other, without physically thinking " I have to send healing" .  As for the energy blockages, you think you may have.. go hug a tree.. silly if you never have done it.  Another thing.. do some light meditation on releasing.  Don't be afraid to let it go... take care of you.. once you do this.. you can take care of others.  Frustrating being on our end... picking up on so much.. wanting to heal so many..and feeling blocked.  One breath at a time..and take one day at a time.

Keeping Mom and you in my thoughts,

~Stephanie

Tingling ... March 10, 2006 5:05 PM

I am not sure where the tingling is but when my healing channels are open my hands and feet tingle .... to me it means that healing Universal energy to going through me and being channeled to where it is needed. I honestly don't think that you need to spend a lot fo time thinking about it, it really is intent. The energy should gowhere it is needed the instant you think out it/direct it. You might want to check out the Kryon website .... take care ~ Fay  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I agree with what you brought up.  When I am channeling.. I get the tingling and the warm rush as well as I stated to Rachel about her tingling...  When I have talked with other energy workers, they have stated the same things.  Amazing what energy and Light can do

Hey everyone.  Thanks. Didn't know I would generate so much discussion.  Thank you for your healing to Mom and me.

I ran my symptoms by my Dad -b/c I was worried re. my heart -- and he said he's having hte exact same ones right now. and he's learned to live with it because the energy does that to him!  He said he told a doctor once about the sensations in his chest and the doctor looked suspiciously at him and wanted to send him to a psychiatrist.

Anyway, now I am in another weird way -- I hit my hand on the bottom of a cupboard that hangs from the wall - really hard.  Now my body's all panicky and sick feeling. I'm jus trying to rest by I can't think very well...  Trying by meditation to release the fear... patterns that long since stopped to be useful.

Hope you are all well.  How is everyone else?   I am only focussed on our little family unit here these days.  Sending out hope and love to all.  Rachel.

Hello, Im not sure what I'm doing in this group...I'm not even sure what a lightworkers is?  But would love to learn. Sorvena, you mentioned being connected with Stonehenge....I can say I have been there a few times.   For know other reason than to go and visit it. I grow up in the UK.

I believe life is a wonderful gift.....That should be handle with love and kindness to all.....For most of my life I believed there wasn't any such thing as evil....As I have aged I have learned there's good and evil....It's up to us to decide and to teach all that touches our lives....That love will always overcome the evil and sickness in our world.

A hug will heal a weeping heart.....Hitting will break a weeping heart.

Love and kindness will heal......Anger will break a soul that's in pain.

Love will heal that soul.....If one sits quietly, They can feel and hear the whispering of hearts.

Peace/Blessings

Thanks for sharing, that's beautiful!    I think lightworkers are those who seek the light -- the love and goodness that's in all things.  Some do it in an energy or psychic kind of way, others in the way they treat other people and the rest of creation.  You seem to be working with and seeking the light.... anonymous Introduction April 13, 2006 6:30 PM

Merry Meet Lightworkers! I am new to Care2 and to this wonderful group. I have had Lightworker energy for quite some time now, but I haven't (until now) been able to quite find the modality in which to manifest the light and be of service to others. As we move closer and closer to the end of the Mayan Calendar (2012), I am finding it more and more essential that we heal our bodies.

I have been a Human Design Analyst for several years and find it very rewarding as it helps people regenerate areas of our body that have degenerated through non-use, as we struggle to be the non-self. Human Design helps us be our SELF and move through life with less resistence and decondition the conditioning we face from birth. It helps with manifestation according to your own body make-up DNA. But enough about that. If you want more information and photo (as I have not uploaded one here yet), go to http://www.HumanDesignSanDiego.com

So, while I continue to study human design and all its intricacies, I am about to follow a more direct path to healing the body, mind, and spirit. This fall I begin acupuncture school and I am so excited because it just feels "right." It has that ring to it, my sacral says yes! and my spirit soars! It also will enable me to fulfill my pagan role of service to others.

San Diego is beautiful today and rain is coming tomorrow. We LOVE rain here, as it does not bless us enough.

Happy Full Moon Day! Blessed Be,

Mia

Welcome Deb to the Meetingplace!

((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))

One I wanted to point out.. is one may think they are "starting" to be a Lightworker.. but in actuality.. you are.  You are born with this amazing affinity to help others, heal others, teach others.. and so on.  You may think you are starting, for you have just recognised a part of you within.

I welcome you to post as you like, and would love to hear more about you!

GREETINGS ... August 22, 2006 12:01 AM

Greetings Stephanie and ALL BROTHERS & SISTERS of the Light and Light*Working ... I was happy to discover, i.e., bump into it ... and elated and surprised to find several of my friends, that HOST on groups which I initiated, here ... and further surprised that they did not alert me to this group and its honorable intentions. Mostly it seems like people that come here are making an Introduction of themselves and getting nice, beautiful, thoughtful replies by the Group Owner/Host!  So I would like to NETWORK with all Brothers and Sisters of the "Lightworker" persuation, for our mutual edification, support and to simply DO THE WORK ... and also ... let us just PLOT EVOLUTION!

I am an young old man of 68 and anything but retired. I'm a Buddhist Monk, Lama & Rinpoche of the Sakya Order of Tibetan Buddhism; a Past-Master of the Rosicrucian Order (AMORC); a member of the C.U.P. of the Traditional Martinist Order of France; a Bard in the British Druid Order; a Brother and Priest Forever in the Order of MelchizEldech (Google!); a Shamanic holder of the "SiSiWiss Medicine" of the North Coast Salish and the Red Cedar Circle; a proud member, since the age of 14, of the "Order of the Arrow" of the blessed Boy Scouts of America ... and generally just living it all through for the duration!  Could be better, could be worse, and I cherish the struggle to make, sometimes with delightful ease, Spiritual Progress, sometimes with lots of obstructions, due primarily I think to my obscurations. I believe and practice in the Bodhisattva Aspiration to work for the Liberation of All Sentient Beings in the Ten Directions and Four Sacred Times!  E Ma Ho!  How wonderful!  Sarva Mangalam!!  All is auspicious!!  O(m) Mittakuye Oyasin!!!  OM ... Hmmm ... August 26, 2006 2:43 PM

Rachel, do you know some people named "Tashi," a common Tibetan (first) name?  Well, when I first stepped onto the Dharma (Buddhist) Pathway, I received, from His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa [1980] the name "Karma Jangchub Namgyal." Then in 1988, after my Ordination as a Fully-Ordained Gelong or Buddhist Monk, I received the name "Ngawang Kunga Thupten Gyaltsen," so my "Tashi"-type name is "Kunga" which means "Joyful one!"  And I am a happy, joyful person. =sapan r.=

hi Sapan August 27, 2006 2:45 PM

Hi Sapan and everyone!  Yes, I do know someone called Tashi, not very well, but he lives in my city.  He's an artist and he was involved in 1998, when a Tibetan former-monk (now director of a meditation centre), Lobsang Samten, came to make a sand mandala here at our local art gallery.   I got to know Lobsang better, but Tashi was around too.  He was the friend of  one of my art professors.  I saw that you had written Tashi Delek at the end of your letter, and wondered...

So, why did you decide to become a monk?

I meditate too, and have a lot of respect for the Buddhist path.

Peace, Rachel.

Reply to Rachel ... August 27, 2006 3:12 PM

Tashi Delek!  "Tashi Delek," prounounced TA-SHE DE-LAY, is the traditional greeting between Tibetans, and like the Nepali's "Namaste" is used as a greeting to say both "Hello" and "Goodbye" ... so, Tashis Delek, Namaste, and Hello, Rachel!

When I had completed was turning age 50 and had nicely completed my 49th year, 7 cycles of 7 years, I decided that I would do something different with the rest of my life, something that I had wanted to do much earlier in my life. With an opportunity to take the Getsul or Novice Monk Ordination at Sakya Monastery in Seattle, I did so on March 3rd, 1988, from His Holiness Trinly Sakyapa. Then He sat with his teacher, His Eminence Chogye Trichen of Nepal, and I received the Full Gelong Ordination on December 31st, 1988. I have been happy with all of those decsions in my life. I received a "Lama" title in 1991 from my Guru, His Holiness Sakya Trizin, and was recognized as a "Western Emanation of Sakya Pandita" by His Holiness Trinly Sakyapa in February, 1996.  Thus, ALL GOES TOWARD ITS END!  Take care!  Kindest regards,  Sapan Rinpoche

Reiki Masters January 01, 2007 4:11 AM

I am a Reiki master and a channel of light in my workplace.I work with students at a college as a Learner support worker.I use myself as a channel for the reiki/positive energy to radiate out from my inner self.It really does work as i always get positive feedback from most people.I can sense those who are held within there shadows so i try tyo give love but dont interfere as there could be other Karmic reasons for some people to be negative.

I am interested in Remote Veiwing and I am looking for any courses close to where I live.My intention is to be a lightworker close to Governmental/security/Intelligence organisations to be trusting and to help bring about a positive change in Society for the new changes to come on our Planet.

Also have had personal proof of Extra-Terrestrial or other Earthly intelligent Beings to know there is more going on around us.

My buddhist name is Karma Tinseng Tsangpo/My sufi name is Naqshbandi robert shrigley.I see myself as a Teacher to come, but not yet, as there are many changes to happen to Mankind on our Planet.

My wife sandy is a Master Teacher of Reiki and she holds courses to those wishing to become reiki channels etc.We are soulmates and know our purpose in life.I am a starchild as through self hypnosis I saw images of living on another planet and I remember what type of clothes i was wearing and the silvery graphite colour of the civilisation there.

We hope to visit Avebury and Stonehenge in the summer of 07.

Hi Robert, January 04, 2007 11:07 PM

Good to meet you. Interesting. I have a question that maybe you have access to the answer since you are interested in both government intelligence operations and aliens being living here. Is there truth to the stores that there are alien stations under ground in the US where the American government is colluding to allow aliens to kidnap citizens and do experiments upon them? I have read accounts in various places on the internet re these incidents and because there are so many references I am starting to wonder if these reports are true? cheers, Fay  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

anonymous Intro from Thomas Markham January 09, 2007 11:26 AM

About MeI am an Aquarius with Virgo rising, my moon in Libra born in the year of the Snake. I am a "Queer Quaker" Universalist and Constructive Anarchist/Socialist idealist with the heart of a poet and the mind of a pragmatist. I am both fiercely independent and a people person, who is honestly frank, sensual and a romantic. I am a natural empath and healer connected in my soul with the Creator and all humanity and all creatures and the created great and small.

I am a community and social justice activist, poet, writer and editor with professional personnel management, communication, consensus building and fundraising experience and skills.

Dear Friends,

If you are not already aware of these two Quaker ecological and social justice organizations, please check them out and consider supporting their important work. Quaker consensus oriented process in making decisions at the community level and our values and testimonies have much to contribute in informing the organization, decision making processes, outreach and coalition building of the greater environmental, anti-war/peace, human/civil rights and social justice movements, which in my mind should be viewed as a single movement and those connections need to continue to be made by us all.

Peace,

Thomas M.

Hello! January 25, 2007 8:32 PM

Hello!  I was going to write and say "How nice that Victoria found this group!  Love to you, too, Victoria!"  and now I want to say, How amazing to be in in the company of such wonderful human beings, I can't believe the richness of the gifts people are bringing to this group, Wowzers!  I guess I have to come around more often and get to know you all!  Is Dana still there, and Fay, and Healing Bear/Star River?   Hello!  Love to you all!

Hey guess, what?  I started a new job as an ESL Teacher, and one of the other teachers does Reiki too.  We have cockroaches and I was thinking how my friend and I had done reiki on the walls at her cottage to raise the energy and the cockroaches went away!!!  So I asked my colleague if she does Reiki, because I had an idea she did... and she does!  Nice to be in a place where there are people like me....  I was starting to wonder because one of the other teachers made a joke about talking to her plants, and made like that was a silly thought.  I am in touch with my plants a lot.  I was glad to find that this other teacher does Reiki.

Incidentally, you who said you are a lightworker where you work -- that's awesome that you take your gifts to work.  I have been thinking and praying to find ways to use my gifts at work.  I am a healer, by calling, and so I want to find ways to be a healer for my students.  many of them are refugees and have had a really hard time of it.  One of them is 35, but looks 50, I guess because his life has been so tough so far.   We just met, Jan 18th, so I don't want to probe into their personal lives, but I do want to help them express, deal with it and share and see that they are not alone.  Maybe through art and music.  We drew today and they all loved it.  I haven't heard the class laugh so much or seen them talk together so much, before.  It was really heartening to see.

Thank you for organziing this group, where people can talk about work like this, and putting light working into our everyday life where of course it belongs.  I really appreciate it.

Right now seems to be a time for me, for finding new ways to do things:  heal, love, create (I mean these in very concrete ways).   Any ideas, please let me know.

Wishing you light and love, calm and peace.  Rachel.

Developed gift when 30, but always always drawn to help people cary their load.  I work as psychic medium, spiritual healer, astrologer, writer, reflexologist.  I was born in Manchester UK on 7/8/56 and am of Irish descent (Dublin grandad, Galway gran, and dad lived in Cavan)..

I believe Laughter is the best medicine, and find it comes thru in readings for people and helps them to heal.. I love to wake people up to their true selves and the light inside of them. I have run meditation circles in the past and may do again.
Have had much upheaval in my life the last few months (was living in Eire now back in UK), and am recovering from broken relationship.
Am happy to find this place and join with fellow lightworkers to bring as much light as possible to the earth and the people here (and animals too - i love esp cats and dolphins)..

greetings July 29, 2007 10:14 AM

Greetings to everyone in here. My name is Lawrence and I'm a lightworker of the elemental realm, as is my mate (girlfriend). We do a lot of stuff out in the wilderness and are both trying to heal the plant and animal kingdoms, and the Earth in general. We do a lot of work with crystals and everytime we're out somewhere we make something to give thanks to the Earth and to help heal it.
I can't really think of anything else to say here, except I hope to talk more, and maybe start and contribute to some topics here.

Salutations lightworkers!  My name is Dana and I am 32 from California...I am not a "lightworker" per se, however, I am travelling along a path that will bring me to this in the future...I a vocational nurse by day and aspire to be a healer using touch therapy, energy, and meditation in the future.  I would like to open up a few shops that cater to the poor or underserved populations as well as have a part time gig as a hospice nurse...  I would like to take a class in Reiki (Usui tradition) as well as complete massage therapy school in the future (right now, I am starting coursework for my BSN- nursing)...

I look forward to mingling!

In love and light,

Dana

I'm 'new' to Care2 December 13, 2007 6:42 PM

Hi, my name is Susan Ann,

I live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. I emigrated from England 11 years ago. I became a Reiki/Seichim Master in 2000. I no longer channel Reiki, but am a Master of energy healing. I have been an active Lightworker since 2002. I have a good ear if you have a problem, and an active mind if you need a suggestion. I am an artist, a writer and a singer/songwriter. I have been actively working with Jesus Christ the Redeemer for several years, but am not a member of the Christian Religion. I believe religion to be just another form of control.

I was joined into Care2 early last year by a friend, but for various reasons, I didn’t participate then. I just discovered the site again and want to meet people.

In Love and Light,

Susan Ann

Hi Jessica, I have been going through this ascension stuff pretty violently for the last year, I understand where you are coming from. I read 'what's up on planet earth' and about everything else about it out there, they all seem to say about the same thing. It is my belief that some people are just more sensitive, I am an empath, and extremely sensitive, that makes it more difficult IMO. Hang in there, it will calm down they say after January, ya think?

Hi there!  what do you mean that you are 7 of 12?   Have you found the other 6?   Or does it mean something else?  Do the cars work if you talk to them?  Are you like a car whisperer?  Well, my friend talked to her photocopier and it worked for her but not for the others who are mean to it.   I guess it's like that.   What is 7 out of 12 please?   Take care, Rachel

anonymous Introduction October 16, 2008 4:13 PM

Photobucket Hello light workers, my name is Rolinda although at times I have been called Aliana by my Spirit Guides. I have been "strange" most of my life. Believe I saw the spirits as a child while now, I receive messages in dreams or through channeling by writing/typing the messages my Angel Guides ask me to pass on. This hasn't been easy and I came here looking for like souls who realize it isn't always easy to pass on messages or receive them for that matter. My grandmother told me I was like her, it was a gift from God and meant to be used for good. I've been blessed with children and grandchildren and believe I came here for the children. Recently I received an email that described a light worker that came from "Blue Ray" and the description fit me perfectly. Which is where I also learned I probably came here to bring my DNA. Considering my incredibly insightful grandchildren, I believe that to be true! Right now I'm just trying to figure out how and where to use these gifts to make a difference on Earth! I also believe laughter to be the best  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]
