Just a place to say hi, good day or whatever & chat about the music & bands you like, have seen or would like to see. So kick off those shoes and relax.

Music has been part of my since I was born. My older sisters and brother were part of the '50s and early 60's music. I have been into Country Western music for awile then went on to listen to the music that my teenagers were blaring and dancing to. I love to dance. Now I listen to current easy rock mostly unless I am playing some of my old CD's.
Hi David as you have probably guessed I love all music except classical although there are some of them i like also. But my fav are all the groups from the 60/70's. I will try to put some video's on if I can, I never have any luck doing that, but I'm a tryer.
hey ladies thanx for dropping in, as you can see we like a varied selection in here. make up your own topic if you have a favorite and Pauline wot am I gonna do wi you?? if you struggle posting videos just ask I'm sure somebody will help ye thru it and if you mess up we'll delte and try again.
Debra glad you enjoyed make sure you post keep this going lass,Isis thanx for the new threads keep it up
I must admit that I was not too much impressed by this site when I first saw it. I thought it to be all rock and roll and that did not at all interest me. But today my mind has been changed by the St. Patricks Day presentation. That was a fine set to be sure and I'd like to see more of the same.
Me- I'm a Heinz 57 and enjoy all types of music depending on my mood. I am partial to Connie Dover, Van Morrison and the Proclaimers...however, also love Joey Ramone and Andrea Boccelli.
David~ how are you, love? I am flying into Edinburgh in late July for a few days. Going to be around?
hi Nelia how you doing sweetie been a while have missed you about the place, thanks for your comment. As to Edinburgh I live in England now but I'll be in Florida in May......lol
To echo Nelia, Seamus the members make the group music not the Group, they post what they wish & it's open to all choices of music, if you don't like somones music you don't have to listen to it,
my reply > Jeffrey I struggled a bit on these guys but gimme some tunes they sing it may help me in a search, if you want anything else finding and posting lemme know please
to anyone in the group if you need help finding music ask I'll try to find if I can
This is a fine presentation to be sure. AYE, the spirit of it brought tears of sheer joy to my eyes. With this spirit I can tell the Devil himself to "POG MO THOIN". All the cares of the world cannot take me now and it's truly blessed I am to be Irish.
If you would like to continue in this spirit I might suggest that you listen to the music of the Master Harpist Patrick Ball on the Celtic Harp. Master Patrick is a magician indeed with the way he weaves his notes and his music has the power to transport you to the greatest realms of the spirit in such a way that you will feel no desire to return to the world as it is. It will change you and you will become all of that you truly wish to be.
I'd like to contribute but.. February 27, 2009 10:15 AM
I have some CDs but I don't know if the particular artists involved would approve of me posting their works without their permission. That having been said,it's my own thinking that if I give them each proper recognition they'll not object.
I do have difficulty with how to upload a CD so that it can be presented to you. If you can tell me how to process a CD so that it registers with you I shall be glad to share with you.
well Seamus that would confound me too as most of the music here tends to come from a site called 'youtube.com' but if you have any particular in mind I'd do a search for you
I do have a few thoughts in mind for you. As I mentioned before I would like to present to you the Master Harpist Patrick Ball and his works on the Celtic harp. He has a web sight on the internet so he should not be too difficult for you to find. Some other works that I would like to share with you: The artistry of Mistress Kim Robertson on the Celtic harp and the Lady Virginia Kron on the cello. These two are an excellent duo whos music is guaranteed to lift you spirits. As well, there is a group called "Smiling Dog Production" that produced a work called "Melusine", an anthology of French country dances from about the twelfth century. Also I must include The Lady Georgia Kelly and Master Dusan Bogdanovic, Celtic harp and classical guitar. These are some of my favorite artists
