Thanks, Beloved, for the encouragement...and for reminding me that I should give an update on how we are progressing in our mission to get rid of five things per day that we don't need. In short, it's going great! Via freecycling and donation, so far we've gotten rid of two HUGE bags of clothes, several VHS tapes, and a stack of books, in addition to trashing or recycling random clutter and odds and ends that pile up on tables, shelves and our fireplace hearth. I plan on continuing until I'm satisfied that we've gotten things down small enough. I know that's vague...I just feel like when we're small and light enough, I'll know. Are you on board? How is your downsizing going?
Yeppers I'm with you. I'm gonna try this for one week starting from today. In addition to my usual going through 2 shelves/cupboards etc. per month. There won't be much stuff left when I'm finished I've never had much stuff anyway, but it's kind of scary to see that a person like me who owns little compared to many others still can get rid of a lot and it may hardly be visible.
Today will be a big day for my 5-Less effort. I believe it will be quite easy for me to be 50-Less today since I am cleaning the garage. I cannot wait for the day when it is all behind me, never to return.
Rock on, Gail!
This is fun!! I may prolong it one more week
