If you were an intelligent species, capable of faster than light travel and having moved past simple tribal conflicts and religious afflictions, would you stop by for a chat?  I don't think so; although you might "tag and sample" us now and then, perhaps a study in primitive species?

...I think you'd make a great co-host, Rachel.  You could give the flip side of the issue.  We can see where you come from and vice versa, each respecting the other's opinions, even if we disagree, but it would even things out.

Yes. Have they been here, 99% of me says no. It would be like a person in Siberia saying there is no one in the United States because it is so far away, and I've never been and never will go there to explore. 

I think space is just too vast for us to be the only one planet with any kind of life. I think there is life that is far behind us, barely in the single cell stage, and I think there is life far, far advanced from us, that have ways, technologies and forms that we cannot begin to imagine.  They just haven't found us, neither have we found them.

I just don't think that we've been 'visited' because we are so remote.

I'm with Stephen Hawking on this one.  He once said that if they ever did come here, they wouldn't be friendly little creatures, but probably would destroy us.  Not just us as a race, but the entire planet.  I think when they got done with us, we'd be a dead planet from the core up.

I would like to know what life is out there, both the less advanced and the more advanced.  I just don't think we'll be able to have 'contact' in the next few centuries or even ten centuries...although by then, I think we'll have more concrete ideas what's out there.

LOL Hazel, co-host? me????  You already have2 co-hosts that believe and you would like one that doesn't?  (laughing) what are you putting in your beans besides beans Hazel?  You would have the co-hosts going up against each other and care2 would be asking what kind of room you are running.  LOL, Hazel, I have far too much information to believe all the crap the gov't agencies are pushing out.  You have another room about conspiracies and what is hidden from the people and in this room you have the biggest pile of crap they are handing out.  They are actually destroying peoples lives you know.

Actually Hazel, I really wish ETs would come to this planet, take a look around and then start kicking some ass, starting with our gov't officials.  Blow up a few of the big corporations that are so concerned about making money they con't give a damn what happens to this planet, the people on it or even their own children and grandchildren.  This wouldn't necessarily be 'good' ETs Hazel, because they would mean business and be just nasty enough to mean what they say.

Should little people like you, Hazel,  and me be afraid of them? No I don't think so.  I ask you Hazel, what could ETs do to humans that humans haven't already done to each other? But unfortunately, there aren't any ETs here,  only big, bad secret gov't agencies led by a group of nasty psychologists that all need some behavioural changes in thier personalities.  They live off of the grants given by the gov'ts who are supported by the people. And using these grants they are 'experimenting' with the very people who are supporting them through the gov't.  How's that for irony?
