7.) Jesus treated us much better than we deserve.

EPHESIANS 2:1-10 GOOD NEWS FOR MODERN MAN
1.) IN THE PAST you were spiritually dead because of your disobediance and sins. At that time you followed the world's evil way; you obeyed the ruler of the spiritual powers in space. the spirit who now controls the people who disobey God. 3.) Actually, all of us were like them, and lived according to our natural desires, and did whatever suited the wishes of own bodies and minds. Like everyone else, we too were naturally bound to suffer God's wrath.
4.) But God's mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great, 5.) that while we were spiritually dead in our disobediance, he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God's grace that you have been saved. 6.) In our union with Christ
Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world. 7.) He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of his grace, in the love he showed us in Christ Jesus. 8.) For it is by God's grace that you have been saved, through faith. It is not your own doing, but God's gift. 9.) There is nothing to boast of here, since it is not the result of your own efforts. 10.) God is our maker, and in our union with Christ Jesus, he has created us for a life of good works, which he has already prepared for us to do.

JOHN 4:1-14
1.] THE Pharisees heard that Jesus was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John, 2.] although in fact, it was not Jesus who baptized but His disciples. 3.] When the Lord learned of this, he left Judea and went once more to Galilee.
4.] Now he had to go through Samaria. 5.] So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given his son Joseph. 6.] Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7.] When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" 8.] (His disciples had gone into town to buy food.)
9.] The Samaritan women said to Him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
10.] Jesus answered her,"If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would of given you living water."
11.] "Sir," The women said, "You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?" 12.] Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and flocks and herds?"
13.] Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks from this water will be thirsty again, 14.] but whoever drinks the water I give him, will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

WHAT IS A SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIAN?
A Spirit filled Christian is a person who has taken these steps.
1
.] They know that they are sinners, everyone has sinned, no one is perfect like God.
2.] They acknowledge and believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
3.] They ask Jesus to forgive them for their sins.
4.] They ask Jesus to come into their lives and hearts, and to wash them clean.
5.] They decide to follow Jesus and turn their lives completely over to Jesus.
The final step is that they ask the Holy Spirit to enter into their lives and ask that they be baptized by the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES! BY JAMES FIELD
The word tongues means languages. The Holy Spirit allows a person to speak in languages he or she has never learned.
James Field says that:
1.] "Speaking in tongues is an act of the human spirit, apart from the human mind." 1st Corinthians 14:13,14,15
2.]"Speaking in tongues lets us address God from our spirits when our minds don't know what to say.
The Holy Spirit makes His unlimited vocabulary available to our spirits, and we speak forth adoration."
3.] "Tongues is a cooperative language." He says,  "The Holy Spirit never forces us to speak in languages our minds don't know. On the other hand, He makes His unlimited vocabulary available for born-again believers willing to speak from the human spirit."
Finally, "Jesus promised that the Heavenly Father willingly gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask for Him. [See Luke 11:13] After asking the Father for the Holy Spirit baptism, respond by choosing to speak. The God of miracles will act out in your behalf and enable you to praise Him in a language supplied by Him."
MY OPINION:
[You do not have anything to lose.]
First, have you experienced Salvation and Eternal Life through Grace? It is a simple act of extreme importance. A decision we all must make, one way or the other. Simple because of the few simple steps that must be taken to gain salvation and eternal life.
#1.] Find a place where you can be alone. [Well, you don't have to be alone, but it helps.]
#2.] Confess to the Lord Jesus that you have sinned, for we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
#3.] Ask for forgiveness.
4.] Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life.
5.] Make a commitment to follow Jesus and to live for Jesus, and ask Jesus to help you.
After you have taken these five steps you are ready to ask God the Father to send you the Holy Spirit and to baptize you with the Holy Spirit. That is all there is to it. I pray that each of you will have this amazing experience and fulfillment in the Holy Spirit. I pray that whether the Holy Spirit comes to you as a burning flame, or a quiet whisper that you will know the peaceful Spirit that dwells within you.
What have you got to lose?

ROMANS 5: 12-20
12.) Adam sinned, and that sin brought death unto the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die. 13.) Sin was in the world before the law came. But no record of sin was kept, because there was no law. 14.) Yet death still had power over all who lived from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. This happened although not everyone disobeyed a direct command of God, the way Adam did.
In some ways Adam is like Christ who came later. 15.) But the gift that God was kind enough to give was very different from Adam's sin. That one sin gave death to many others. Yet in an even greater way, Jesus Christ alone brought God's gift of kindness to many other people.
16.) There is a big difference between Adam's sin and God's gift. That one sin led to punishment. But God's gift made it possible for us to be acceptable to him, even though we have sinned many times. 17.) Death ruled like a King because Adam sinned. But that can not compare to what Jesus Christ had done. God has been kind to us, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like Kings.
18.) Everyone was going to be punished because  Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19.) Adam disobeyed God, and caused many others to be sinners., But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.
20.) The law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God's kindness was even more powerful. 21.) Sin ruled by means of death. But God's kindness now rules, and God has accepted us because of Jesus Christ our Lord. This means that we will have eternal life.

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS
At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to the death penalty.
At the time crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus, unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixtion Jesus was to be nailed to the cross by His hands and feet.
Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long.
The nails were driven into His wrist.  Not into His palms as is commonly portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder.  The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the wrist that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support himself so that He could breath.
Both of His feet were nailed together.  Thus He was forced to support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross.  Jesus could not support himself with His legs because of the pain so He was forced to alternate between arching His back then using his legs just to continue to breath.  Imagine the struggle, the pain, the suffering, the courage.
Jesus endured this reality for over 3 hours.
Yes, over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of suffering?  A few minutes before He died, Jesus stopped bleeding.
He was simply pouring water from his wounds.
From common images we see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound to His side.  But do we realize His wounds were actually made in his body.  A hammer driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped and an even large nail hammered through the arches, then a Roman guard piercing His side with a spear.   But before the nails and the spear Jesus was whipped and beaten.  The whipping was so severe that it tore the flesh from His body.  The beating so horrific that His face was torn and his beard wripped from His face.  The crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp.  Most men would not have survived this torture.
He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured from His wounds.
The human adult body contains about 3.5 litres (just less than a gallon) of blood.
Jesus poured all 3.5 litres of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of  thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into his chest.
All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometres, while the crowd spat in his face and threw
stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).
Jesus had to endure this experience, so that you can have free access to God.
So that your sins could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception! Don't ignore this situation. JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU! For you, who now read this. Do not believe that He only died for others (those who go to church or for pastors, bishops, etc).
He died for you!
Accept the reality, the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD.
God has plans for you, show all your friends what He experienced to save you. Now think about this! May God bless your life!
