DUCK IS ABOUT A DUCK THAT IS ORPHANED WHEN HIS FAMILY IS RAN OVER BY A CAR, AND AN ELDERLY MAN WHO RESCUED THE DUCK. ABOUT THIS TIME HE IS EVICTED FROM HIS APARTMENT AND GOES HOMELESS!
THIS IS NOT SPECIFICALLY A CHRISTIAN MOVIE BUT COULD BE, IT PORTRAYS WHAT THE HOMELESS DEAL WITH AND HOW A  HOMELESS PERSON COULD HAVE PETS THAT THEY CARE FOR VERY DEEPLY.  I SAW THIS MANY TIMES WHEN I LIVED IN HASTINGS.
I BELIEVE YOU WILL LOVE THIS MOVIE! IT IS VERY HEARTWARMING!

"What Happens When We Pray For Our Families" by Evelyn Christian Published in 1992 by Victor Books, 1825 College Avenue, Wheaten, Illinois 60187
I have only read part of this book, but so far it is really good. It is about what happens when we pray for our family, but it can be used for any individual or group of people.  It is encouraging, knowledgeable and inspiring. I highly recommend it.

ROMANS 10:14-15
14.) How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

50 STATES IN 50 DAYS!

This book is about a minister who traveled to 50 states in 50 days to tell people about Jesus! It's an interesting book and what I like best about is that some of the places he visited were colleges. Stepping into this mission on faith alone, and a calling from Jesus he describes all of the barriers, the successes and the unexpected surprises. It is inspiring!
I only have one question:
WHY ARE WE NOT DOING THIS FOR THE HOMELESS?

Book Review:
FROM ONE SINGLE MOTHER TO ANOTHER
BY SANDRA ALDRICH
A BOOK FOR WIDOWS AND OTHER SINGLE PARENTS Published by Regal Books/ a division of  Gospel Light Publications.
I didn't have the time to read the whole book because I am busy with school but what I did read really sounded wonderful, Godly, and sensible!
If you can locate this book I encourage you to read it. She has experience, suggestions, encouragement, which is Godly and from the Bible, and wisdom. You will greatly benefit from this book!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Book review: Bees Howells Intercessor
by Norman Grubb
Published by Christian Literature Crusade/1952/191967/1983
This is a really good book and I recommend it to anyone. It's about a Welsh man who was on a mission for God. I haven't read the whole book but so far it is very inspiring. Check the library for this book, because it is a little older.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

This is a book for caretakers and though I have never read this book, I believe it could be a very important book for those who have elderly parents with Alzheimer' and other forms of dementia. If you have a parent with Alzheimer's and feel alone, I recommend this book!
