CHRISTIAN COFFEE HOUSES!  [report anonymous abuse]  [ accepted]

Christian Coffee Houses have opened up across the United States.
Coffee houses which serve the community, help the homeless, and serve the word of the Lord to their customers!
Some of these coffee houses are the 'Heart Rock Cafe.', in Sonora, California, the 'Timberline Old Town Church' in Fort Collins, Colorado, and 'Ebenezer's Coffee House' in Washington, D.C.

Dear Lord,
Be with us this morning and every morning! Guide us on our way and help us to follow you in all truth and with great faith! Put in our path the teachings and life you want us to learn and to follow and to reach out to others, in your name!
In Jesus name,
Amen

WE ARE ONE IN THE SPIRIT!
When I was 15 and a member of a Christian Coffee House, I remember a song that we used to sing that stays with me to this day. It was called, "We are One In the Spirit!"
These are the words,
"We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord. We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord. And we pray that all unity will one day be restored! And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love, they will know we are Christians by our love."
Have you ever noticed that there is a difference between a true believer, and a worldly person. People of the world are often so angry, and so full of hatred and bitterness, sorrow, and confusion, but although as Christians we may experience these emotions;when you come upon a Christian, there is a Spirit of overcoming these worldly attributes, which are also replaced by a peace and spiritual love that envelopes that person. That is what that song is about. There is nothing so sweet and wonderful, as meeting a brother or sister in the Lord, and even though you might be strangers you are not strangers. There is a sense of oneness between the two of you, or however many there are.

The ten best cities to move to for families from Family Circle, August 2009!
1.] Rockwell, Texas
2.] Evans, Georgia
3.] Sherwood, Oregon
4.] Indian Trail, North Carolina
5.] Perrysburg, Ohio
6.] Henderson, Tennessee
7.] Edina, Minnesota
8.] Noblesville, Indiana
9.] Kennmore, Washington
10.] Sunprairie, Wisconsin

I liked what Family Circle did so much that I am going to do this with villages in Nebraska. It might take me awhile but I plan to do this! My criteria will be, are there grocery stores, churches, schools, parks, and I will try to find villages with no bars or liquor establishments. Since villages are so small I might have to be flexible but one thing I will be strict and consistent with is the criteria that there be no bars!  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Villages that have a grocery store and no bar!

[Here are some villages that have a grocery store and no bar!]
1.] Stratten, Ne
2.] Hendly, Ne
3.] Lisco, Ne
4.] Palisade, Ne
5.] Wauneta, Ne
I found this information by using a road map and a phone book. If you are wanting to move to a village, than you should obtain a road map for the state you want to live in and look through the phone book using the yellow pages. You will find which villages have, churches, grocery stores and do not have a bar. You also can do a google search by listing the village and state you want to research.

4 VILLAGES AND 2 HAMLETS 1:15 PM

Please understand that I am doing a computer search and my information is limited. So while I believe there is no bar I could be mistaken.
1.] Adams, Nebraska was the best one so far, with no bar, a school, a grocery store, 4 churches, a village park, a restaurant, and a walking trail!
<><  +
2.] Alexandria, Nebraska has no bar, one cafe and one church!
3.] Allen, Nebraska has no bar, a grocery store, schools, 2 churches, and 2 restaurants.
4.] Taylor, Nebraska has no bar, schools, a church, a park, and a restaurant.
5.] Ameria,Nebraska is a Hamlet and has no businesses at this time but this allows you the freedom to have a great say in how the community develops. No bars and the freedom to start bible studies, and prayer meetings, create your own park, open your own businesses without fear of harming someone's business, and create trails, etc.  You have the option of homeschooling or driving a ways to take your children to school.
6.] Alvo is also a Hamlet with no businesses.

I was talking to a friend and sister in the Lord, and she said that a preacher that she listened to said this, "That now is a very good time to for Christians to move to from the mega cities, super cities, large cities and medium cities to small villages."  He actually prophesied this, and this confirms what I believe. That Christians need to move out of the large, huge, mega, and super cities to small villages. Of course, some people are meant to stay in the larger cities to do mission work, but it's better to raise your children in small villages and in the country than in mega cities. People do better in small villages, and it's better all the way around for everyone. You need to pray and meditate about this. What does the Lord want you to do?  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

WHY SHOULD CHRISTIANS MOVE FROM THE CITY TO A VERY SMALL HAMLET OR VILLAGE?
Cities are crowded, noisy, polluted and full of crime. The schools are crowded, the classrooms large, because of the danger of gangs and shootings, violence and alcohol and drugs, the schools have had to develop strict rules, security guards, security cameras, etc, etc, etc. The stores themselves are like small cities, crowded, noisy and confusing. The large churches are impersonal and the people you pass on the street are strangers whom you can not trust.
Hamlets and villages are small and personal, where you have alot of say in the matter. While there may be a lack of services you have many choices to correct that situation and if you have enough Christians in a Hamlet or Village you can start a small private school.
Another reason to leave the cities is the corruption that politicians have developed in this day and age, the anti-Christian attitudes and the immoral activities and belief systems. If you have had enough of the big cities, consider moving to a village or a hamlet, and make sure there are no bars or liquor establishments!
