If all of us keep writing to our President and others about Youth Outreach Day, it will surely be a holiday by this time next year!!!
Well then Aj and others...lets put that on our list of goals and not let it fall to the wayside.
Would also mailing our Mayors, Governors..etc be of benefit?
That's the route that I'm going: mayor, governor, senators, business people, and celebrities--for starters. Before that, some everyday people, and after that, too. Don't forget greeting card places as well so as to have them preparing a line of cards, calendars, etc. featuring this holiday! Let's make it happen!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get on here. Today I spent 5 hours in town Selling the crafts for IYN. It went well! I was able to raise $20.00 in 5 hours, People were a little reluctant to donate, due to most had hardships and wasn't able to, some didn't because the money didn't go directly to the Cadiz community, other donated what they felt they could. I will try to set up, next time there is an event happening some wheres close by like Benton, Hardin, or Cadiz.

Hello Friends, I am starting to get the word out on facebook. I have already posted the link and short description on the Care2 on facebook which has close to 50,000 members. I sent requests to all my friends that around 60 or so to join Care2 on facebook. I am not really trying yet to make more friends but I will be soon so I can also have a bigger network to ask for help. I will be posting on each person's profile about the Youth Outreach Day and I will also put the video on their profiles along with the link for the petition. Quite a few of my old friends and newer friends have hundreds of friends so that is a good way to get more people. They are all good people so say a prayer that this will work. Dear Friends, Just a quick note to tell you all that the person that is the creator of the Care2 on Facebook sent me a message and a friend request. He invited me to put the petition and the goodsearch toolbar, etc. on his personal profile as well. He has over 400 friends so there are hopefully some signatures and downloading of the toolbar to come of those. I have already posted on some profiles but it will take me a while to get this all done. I dare say I might be a little pushy even though I worded it politely by putting it on people's profiles but if they have an objection they can delete it. I surely can't see anyone actually complaining but if they do I will simply say I am sorry I didn't think they would mind. Now I know for a fact family and old friends are not going to mind. Well anyway it is to help the homeless and at risk youths so if a few people admonish me for it I will take that chance to do what I can for them. All the people are nice so I think the worst that will happen is to ask me not to do that on their profile. No worries I will do it and say a prayer for us to get more signatures and toolbar, etc downloaders. Things to do people to see as they say. lol
I am on full speed ahead mode now so they better watch out or I might run them over with my drive to coax, plead, beg and encourage whatever it takes. lol I am just kidding I have a well written short note, believe it or not I can make short posts ha ha, to go with each that I am promoting. I'm preparing some things that should promote getting signatures, but it's frustrating that there are so few compared to what there should be.

I have just been to check our petition for youth outreach day & it only has 113 signatures .....
Is it just me OR does anyone else think that is pathetic!! especially when I have sent it out as a Private Msg... to all Members here & in other IYN Groups.
Don't be thinking it is just a USA petition .... if WE can not make this work, we most likely can do nothing ... SO WHY ARE WE HERE .... COME ON people this matters!!!
