Hi! My name is Terri. I'm not quite a senior yet but I am very involved with them.I am a caregiver that sends two weeks a month caring for five seniors in a private home (millbrook homes in colorado) with dementia or alzheimers. I have always had a connection with the elderly...even as a very young grade school girl, and I remember many a sunday going to visit my "friends" at the rest homes. Hi Terri, I too work with many dementia patients as a Social Services Director in a long term care facility. Friday, after working 10 hours--then staying up all night until 5 am working on a Chrismtmas program for the folks, then returning for another 16 hour day, I was a WEEEEE bit cranky!.....it was one little lady with dementia that put a smile back on my face.
