We all have a few treasured cd's and albums in our collections that dont seem to fit could even cause us great embarrassment to be seen owning but that we would never part with for sentimental reasons, please share with the group if you have anything like this in your collection
Ok well I am the proud owner of 'Fame' on album...dont even have a player for it anymore but would never part with it...used to watch Fame every week ,every saturday with my sister all of us would gather around the sitting room for Fame...lol even thought we could do the dancing then the next day around the sitting room, so yes bought the album and wont be parting with it either

I see we are leaving it that it IS just my embarrassing moment then?
I think I had a Candy Stanton...Young Hearts Run Free??
on my record records.....vinyl. I did not buy it for myself,
and think I finally got rid of it.
I love the Monkees, and my daughter was totally embarrased
by that, but I still love the Monkees. She would freak if
I put the tape in my car player!!!
The Irish Rovers
In my case, that would be "Two Virgins" by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Not knowing that it was actually an "Art Piece" about sex, I played it for my mother. That was a disaster!.....
Born To Be A Yodeller
This is truly embarassing, since I was an adult when I bought these cds. Now keep in mind that I grew up in the 70s, Led Zeppelin, Chicago, Boston, Deep Purple, etc
You get the idea.
Well, I own the greatest hits of................................ Air Supply
Also, the Indigo Girls cd that has Closer to Fine, but I'm not sure if I bought it or it was a gift. Oh, I gave the Air Supply cd to my mom (but it's mine).
I happen to like Slim Dusty! Thank you! LOL
A Michael Bolton CD- My Secret Passion- where he sings opera
and A Peter Paul & Mary CD...which isnt too embarrassing, until I tell you the only reason I bought it was to hear "Puff the Magic Dragon"!!! lol
The Seekers, Peter Paul & Mary, the Beatles & Cat Stevens inspired my music passions from the 60's.
