Signed all the latest. So many sad animal stories. That's one of the reasons we really need Care2. x
CAROLE: Yes I agree. I wish that Care2 was as popular as it use to be. There was much more participation. I guess people are too busy. I feel guilty if I don't get caught up, at least on the petitions. I always feel like the time I don't spend helping, animals are suffering.
I am am a bit upset this morning and there is nothing we can do about it. One of our members has left because of Care2. They seem to care about the content of the posts but won't correct the issues that we have with the site.

Here is the message she sent me:
This may be the end of me in care2...I have submitted this comment about Bill C SHAC 7 article twice, where there's been discussion and personal ordeals, where they have deviated from the article, and said abusive things to eachother, and I think there´s some new support person in care2, has deleted this next comment of mine twice, so I have modified some of it...Also, a news post of mine and comments were deleted. If this one gets deleted, what´s the point of this website. There are many others where you can speak out. In fact, I have the feeling there really is some new person to watch and control that is going overboard:
Justice is not such. Everyday people get away with harming other creatures (humans included) and the justice system fails. Fails due to stupidity, personal interests, money,...so do we have to shut up, sit and watch the decisionmakers and justice loopholes let things continue to happen, in spite of it being right or wrong? Let their mistakes and opinions rule? There are a lot of idiots out there that do stupidities, like the tuna lady, that won´t change a thing...but here´s an example...right wing spanish SOB Jaime Ferrero tortured and killed over 10 cats and then posted his bloody trophy pictures on the internet in March 2008. He was expelled from the right wing party he belonged to, and pleaded guilty. In September 2009 he went to court, and in spite of the evidence, he got absolved an the case was closed, either the judge was a friend of the family, got paid or whatever, but overruled the animal cruelty laws, overruled the laws of hunting, as she said the cats weren´t tortured ( there are actually pics that show him torturing them with a huge smile, they were hunted when cats are by law not an animal to be hunted...bent them all!! Now the SOB is at home with mommy eating cake...well if I see that SOB, I willprevent him from doing this again, and from having any offsprings...at the least...and I hope I do see him, so that justice actually happens, in spite of the dirty law and decisionmakers
