why, if there are, for example, 50 dogs found starving & living in deplorable conditions there is only 1 count of animals cruelty charged? any ideas?
I was googling for a kennel in Oklahoma and came across stories about puppy mills there and it was horrific. Hundreds of sick starving dogs. The worst was that one owner of a puppy mill was also the president of an animal rights group. The article also said some puppy mill dogs end up being sold for medical experimentation. SICK-it makes me want to throw up. We need way tougher laws.
Evidently animal rights groups are not working effectivly to dispel this vile and cruel treatment. And it's a crying shame that animals are left to die and suffered because of lack of care and concern. We are the voices of the voiceless and we failed them.
What a tragic situation.
Deep down, I don't know why more cannot be done or is not done to stop the animal abuse in this country.
Puppy mill dogs are then sold for experimentation? I can't even fathom this.
