Here is an update on an Iranian couple many of you prayed for earlier.
Arezo Teymouri and her husband Arash Kermanjani were arrested in 2010 at the home of Vahik Abrahamian. The couple was released from prison in April 2011 and left soon afterward for Turkey. There they received medical treatment.
A VOM contact reports, "The major problem with Arezo's leg - which would have required major surgery - is now gone! She was jumping up and down, to the initial consternation of her husband. It appears that the leg is healed!"
Arezo has been able to pick up Turkish easily, and they were well received there. Arash and Arezo are not in the UN asylum system and are recovering well.
North Korean Christian Gives Thanks in the Midst of Trauma
Having fled from to China, Moon fell into dark times. But now, she gives thanks. "Now I know God, a world has opened up to me. And I know that my baby is with Him."
It is a sad story to let you know that some Muslims radicals attacked us at our residence in early hours of yesterday morning. They attacked us because of the Cartons of Bibles they saw us carrying into our house the day before yesterday. The rational behind this, they claimed were due to the fact that we have taking over their Youth and some aged Muslims over to Christ Jesus; Praise be to God.
I was beaten seriously by this Muslim radicals and later descended on my wife. While she was trying to resist abuse, they shot her on the chest. She was rushed down to the Hospital by some neighboring Friends around us after the Muslim radicals left few minutes.
Presently, she is at the Hospital. According to the doctor's report, she lost a large volume of blood. As I am writing you, she is still unconscious. Most importantly now, the doctor recommend surgery and transfusion to save her life.
My brothers and sisters, at the moment, I am totally confused on what to do as these Muslim radicals are trying to stop us from propagating the Gospel
of Christ. Can you imagine Bibles that were purchased with huge amount of money we collected from our tithe and offering for six months now was completely destroyed by Muslims. And at the same time putting my wife life in danger. All efforts made yesterday to raise funds for the surgery and transfusion to save her life was not successful. Can I lose my wife after losing two of our team members last year when we went to spread the Gospel of Christ? Please, help save the life of my dear wife. She has been my strength all through our Outreach ministry as she has been greatly supportive to me, since I answered this great call of the Lord. Please I am sincerely in need of prayers at this time as I can not afford to lose her just like that. This is a great tragedy, I will not forget in a hurry.
My brothers and sisters, I prefer to suffer much persecution for the Gospel sake, I pray God will give ear to my prayers and hide not thyself from my supplication, attend unto me and hear me, I mourn in my complaint and make a noise, because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For they cast iniquity upon me and in wrath they persecute me.
God Almighty, be not far from me as I write my brethren, make haste for my help as I will hope continually and will yet praise thee more and more......Amen. I hope to hear from you soon. Pastor Jackson
Please pray for Pastor Jackson, his wife and his congregation.
