My lovely daughter

I wish that I knew how to post a picture on here. They say that a picture paints a thousand words and if you could see my lovely daughter and her lovely daughter I would not have ANY explaining to do. But what I can say without breaking down and crying is that I have the bravest, most loving and courageous daughter anyone could wish for. She has endured so much (her arm amputated in a terrible car accident) and now her husband of only 1 year has a brain tumour. She bears it all with dignity and courage - such as I can only hope I would display given her circumstances. She has an 8 month old daughter and just keeps going and being brave for her little family.

So, to me, she is the most special person in the world and an example for others!

Well, I'm proud of both of my Son's for different reasons. EJ for being a sensitive, caring person, who tries to help homeless youth or anyone that he sees needs help, young or older. He has a love of animals, but when he looses a pet, he is devastated for quite awhile. He feels for everyone, his compassion almost weighing him down sometimes. He hurts for everyone. My younger Son, Austyn is a honor student over and over during public school, with unique talents in athletics, especially hockey and is aiming to be a pro goalie. He tends to be academic and exsells in school. EJ is very gifted in an artistic way, having a book that he illustrated in grade one, A day on the farm, placed in the school library. Also in grade 6, a drawing he did of an old building here in our city was placed in the Board of Education building for weeks. So, I'm equally proud of my Son's as I watch them growing into young men. Karin, sorry about your familiy's tradgedes. Sue, congradulations on all those grand children. I'm still waiting
