I would say that I am definitly on Obies Enemies list. I have a watchdog here. Her/His name is Maggie. Everytime - no matter what time - night and day that I start posting stories she starts posting stories ..... Every single time these last few months and we are on opposite ends of the spectrum.
Now I like Maggie. Seems like a good person and has only been rude to me a few times. I am sure over these past few years I have taken shots at her for which I do so now publically apologize but I feel like I am being 'watched'. Followed ...... being spied on.
Could be my imagination and feelings like that never hurt me. But Maggie ..... REALLY???? I mean really!!!!!
.... and we start with a shout out to my stalker here at Care 2 MAGGIE!!!! Great new beginnings folks so lets party on down. I have the music here so what is your contribution to this party at FSM?????
YOU ARE ALL WELCOMED TO COME ON IN AND GET DOWN WITH US TONIGHT!!!!!

Who knew Sandra sang one of my favorite songs of all time!!!!
Have not 'seen' her for awhile but never far from my heart is a friend here I made by the name of Donna. Hope she is well and happy .....
This is for my bro here, Michael who carries his love for his family and his country on his sleeve .... NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER .....
For my buddy David who I agree with rarely but found we are both HUGE Bob Marley Fans .......
Have to dedicate this song to Linda, my wife. She was named after this song. Not a day goes by ....
I love this Cam....looks like we are all here....I will be back soon to party with you all.
A CANADIAN song about an AMERICAN WOMAN ..... one of the most popular songs in AMERICA of all time .....

If I recall right Ancil is a fan of these here older songs ..... Remember thise?

HAAAHAHAHAHAAA ..... Dunno what your drinking but I want some Maui!!! Suppertime ....
Drinkin Rum and coca cola ....
This was great guys!!! Just got home from a wedding. Time to hit the sack, I'm exhausted. Good night!
I was on a date with Maui here but got sidetracked and by the time I got back she had fallen asleep! Good night Nancy and thanks for stopping by!
Thank you Cam. Memories. We saw Toby Keith at San Antonio rodeo days concert. The Eagles & Kenny Chesney up in WA state. Always fabulous. Jim Croce I took hard when he died-loved his music a whole lot. Lynard Skynard is a top fave of mine. If I get to see Lynard Skynard, Tom Petty, and John Fogerty now, I will feel as if I've got to see all the people on the top of my list of people I wanted to see live. ZZ Top is coming next month & we're going to that.
Telling my age- I saw Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin live in WA state, Rolling Stones, Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Diamond and the Platters played at Everett High school auditorium when I lived there, went and saw Elton John, Johnny Rivers, who after all those years I couldn't believe he sounded as good if not better, stampeded back out on stage 3 times. I saw Moody Blues at the Gorge in George, WA., they said it was one of the most beautiful places they had ever played. We've seen America, went and saw Cyndi Lauper in Houston at House of Blues, and she was absolutely fabulous. We've seen Journey now, Styx, Van Halen and Little River Band. Did I leave somebody out? LOL Some were top of my list, not all, but I have 3 main priority ones to see.
I was outside the stadium when the Beatles came to Vancouver wayyy back now! I remember a few groups that came and I was on the ouside listening. Could never afford a ticket to actually go in!
I was having a date with Maui but true to form she fell asleep on me and and to home to her husband. The time differences between us are a real pain in the ass!
Awe....I'm sorry Cam....I didn't mean to end our date so soon....the music put me to sleep with some great dreams with great memories from some of those songs.....but it sure was a fun date as it lasted.
I wanted to see the Beatles more than anything in the world....but I did get to see Elvis when I lived in Hawaii....along with Sonny and Cher, Sammy Davis, Al Green, Bill Withers, Bill Cosby, Roy Orbinson and many others that my mind can't remember. My best friend and I were planning to go to Woodstock, gosh how I wish we would have made it....that would have been a trip....pun intended....LOL
Thank your husband for lending me your arm for the dance or two we had last night .... I really appreciated it Maui! Getting back from the lake and trying to get back to routine has me befuddled more than usual this fall. Dunno why. I know I have to get here about five my time and be able to stay if I want to party with you folks so I have to get my clock adjusted.
I will do just that Cam.....although as upset I was this morning at the TV set, he probably would have gladly given you both arms this morning....LOL
Oh Man I wish I could listen to ALL of these songs! Those were the days!!!!!!!I loved all of them!! That was back when you could actually hear the and understand the words of the singers and musicians!! Yesterday we had to stay off the puter because Bob had downloaded a great big piece of something that used all of our bandwidth so by the time I was able to get on last night I was so tired I coul;d not focus on harldy anything so I went to bed about midnight!
Don't forget that Obama 2016 is on FOX tonight!!!!!
I thought of you Carol as Cam and I were singing and dancing away. Cam had a great plan opening up two windows at one time so you could listen and post at the same time....worked great!!!
I have my doubts that this is going to be on FOX tonight Carol....I think there is some special Hannity is doing though about obama....but I am keeping tuned.
Well this is what I heard several times..so who knows!? I was really surprised when I read it the first time..I think it ws on facebook..and I thought WOW..I have to see this!!
Fox News Channel will air the documentary Obama 2016 tonight (Sunday) at 9:00 PM, it is a vary informative documentary on Obama's past and his visions of the future for America.
This one says it is suppose to be on at 9:00 Eastern time but then someone else said that Hannity is having a specail on and another gal from Canada said it's going to be on at 7:00 her time. Almost sounds like Obama is trying to get this stopped from airing!?
Another link a woman said it's still in the theaters so it won't be on Fox tonight...will have to check later.
Wow, look at all these great tunes! Awesome! Looks like some fun doing this!
Thanks Cam for my tune!! So sweet!! Thank you for thinking of me! I am hanging in there, Cam..had a busy weekend. Had a couple with their little ones here since Friday night..a 2 and 4 yr old. Lots of cooking and stuff going on here. Went to the beach for a bit this afternoon and had to come home and cook again! I'm pooped! I just finally sat down after finishing up dishes and putting lunches together for hubby and granddaughter for tomorrow. But the beach was wonderful...warm, mid 80's, the air is dry and was sunny. Water temp is at 81 so it was really nice to sit and relax for a bit.
Now I have to go back into the kitchen and wash the floor..split pineapple and all it's juice allllll over the floor when I was cleaning up after dinner and just spot cleaned it but can still feel the stickiness, down the cabinet, too. Wanted to kick myself in the behind for doing that!!! ugh! God, I'm so tired...LOL
Kids will do that to you Donna! Great to talk with you here!
The weather here in BC is unreal! Hot hot hot here as well. Its like summer has moved up a month but I remember this happening once before. Taking good advantage of it.
Hi Donna! It's good seeing you again too!! Sounds like you must have been pretty busy lately! It's nice to get away to a beach and enjoy warm weather and warm water!! I did it once back about 4 winters ago!! And it was only a swimming pool for me!! I just hate that when something sticky gets spilled on the floor or down a cupboard!! It is such a MESS!!!!!! Glad you stopped in to say hi and I hope you are doing well! Stop in again soon!!
Cam...Dang! Your weather sounds really warm there! We've been pretty chilly here now for a couple weeks and then you get the rain on top of it and cold winds and it makes it worse! But today we did have the sun so that was a plus!!
Donna....you need to sit down...prop up your feet and have a nice glass of chilled white wine.....it will work wonders!!!! But the beach sounded wonderful. We had a beautiful day here and it was a beautiful walk this morning...the trees are just starting to turn and so many great colors to enjoy.....it changed my mood quite fast after the political talk shows...lol
Wow, didn't last long after washing the floor last night! I fell out pretty quickly after that!
Thanks Carol and Maui!! I read some of the posts here, never that far away... I don't want to turn this great thread political but I hear what you said Maui, about the talk shows. I am so upset about this election and what is happening around the world, I find it hard to talk about it anymore. Carol, we have a community pool here and I never once made it to the pool this year... Four years ago! Yikes! Have to get into the water more Carol...lol! Cam, glad your weather is so wonderful and you are enjoying it. Finally getting some drier air and cooler temps here. It is down to 57 this morning and dry...just last week it was almost 80 and things were dripping wet outside at 7am. Huge change! I will now be able to start enjoying the outside more and beach...I do not do hot and muggy well! LOL We are less than 10 minutes to the beach, so I'll be able to get there more. And the tourist went home, so no real traffic to speak of. Hubby will be getting home from work earlier with things slowing down after the season and I like to pack some dinner and enjoy that on the beach while it still warm enough. And fishing is getting good also, maybe try a bit of surf fishing. Well, that's the plan anyways, now to make some time to do it!!
Now THAT sounds like the way to go Donna! To sit on the beach and fish and picnic!!! What life...bring the wine!! Well for us this morning Bob didn't see one bear in the river and he said we had some frost.......so maybe the bear glut is over and they are heading for the hills! But if they are that can be a sign that wibnter is coming in faster than we want too!
Right Carol, the wine! Can't forget that!
Bears heading for the hills...well, hope you aren't in for a real long winter, Carol. I don't know if I could ever go back to the snow...I thought I would really miss it. I love seeing pictures of it and remember if fondly but I'd like to stay down here for the rest of my days and enjoy my memories of it, I guess. Like the kids and dogs playing in it, grandchildren too. Heck, even me playing it...LOL But I've been spoiled here over the last few years and if I need to see snow or need real cold for a change, we have the mountains. I've come to love SC, very much. Just praying hubby's job holds out because finding a good paying job down here is not an easy thing to do. We have been very very lucky and we know it! God heard our prayers, I am sure, I thank him every day and pray he continues to bless us. Just never know what tomorrow will bring. Who knows, I could be sitting on a snowbank someday! That could be God's next plan for us...he has a sense of humor ya know. LOL
