Joining Louisiana now are Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan, New York, Colorado, Oregon, New Jersey, North Dakota, Montana, Indiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama and Texas.
Wait a minute! Out of these 22 states, New York, Colorado, New Jersey, and Florida went Obama. Why are they wanting to back out less than a week after the election? Florida I'm willing to forgive cause Disneyworld and Epcot are there. NY and NJ won't get enough people wanting to leave Obama's dictatorship. CO is too interested in free drugs vs drug free.
I sure am glad the state I live in is on that list! I'm going to search for the petition right now and sign it! We just might need a passport after all just to get around what used to be the USA!
Florida did not go to Obama, there has been voter fraud..more voters cast ballots than registered voters in many counties.
and states I'm sure. Was it Oregon, correct me if I'm mistaken on that, but has a population of 3.7 million, but had 5 million votes?
Secede, Or Don’t: The Beginning Of The End Of The Federal Monopoly On Power »
The White House implemented a “We the People” page on its website to give Americans an easier way to engage the Federal government with grievances and complaints. Now, tens of thousands of Americans in at least 20 States are petitioning for the right of peaceable secession from the United States. More »
Secession sounds very good on the surface, and I understand the states wanting out. On the other hand, aren't there a lot of complications that can come with it that might not be good? Can you Michael or others give some input on this. I want to see what is best for the states, but am worried what it could lead to. Can the seceded states functionally rely on each other?
I doubt secession will be granted. Will there be a civil war? And if we did secede, we'd have to probably initiate the draft, even just to secure our borders. Well, maybe it's not a bad idea. The one in the WH and his masters needs to get the message.
have to make a quick run to the store. I don't want to be like Pelosi expects, and say I'm all in, I don't need to know what's in it. I want to feel confident of their being much more pros than cons, and what the cons are. Making us all divided, not so good, or better? Safer or less safe? Etc. It's probably too bad the rest don't want to secede.
Back in a bit. If we could have a discussion on this, it would be helpful and interesting.
No way this can happen. It's crazy
My guess is not, but there's more states signing on it appears.
What it might do is be enough to make Obama give a bit Nancy. Otherwise you are screwed. If he sees that the nation is truly upset at the march towards socialism he might just slow down.
Otherwise whatever he does is going to piss a lot of people off. The fight has not stopped/

"About 200,000 people in at least 34 states have signed petitions to the White House to allow their states to secede from the United States since last Tuesday’s election. At least one of those petitions has enough signatures that the White House promises to respond."
"Two more petitions have been launched in response, calling on the United States to deport or strip the citizenship of anyone petitioning to secede from the union."
Personally, I do disagree with this. I guess it is a freedom of speech thing to me.
So let's see. 200,000 people with only enough signatures on one state petition. Out of 311,591,917. ( from goggle statistics- current as of July 2011)
I too disagree with states wanting to leave because of an election loss but how is the divide in America going to be overcome Nancy? There does seem to be a red line right down the middle and a country cannot exist this way.
Again, if this is enough to make Obama think about what kind of legacy he wants to leave behind perhaps he will stand up to the socialist left in his party? But I doubt it because he is not a leader.
Why would he do that? He's been raised and mentored with it all his life. He wanted them in the supreme court-he got 'em. Muslims he appointed too, w/radical ties, Jarett, There's one who is on the dem socialist list-can't remember the name right off, but he's fixed pretty good. I do believe West when he said how many were dem socialist. The party has become that, and not just in the last 4 years. Need those out, then the Rino's.
For heavens, he's tight with Soros, friends with Ayers. He means no good.
