prayer and cadle from also
I pray for the thousands of American and British Troops that are due to be sent to Afghanistan, also for the families they will be leaving behind.
I pray too for those already there, for the innocent on both sides of this War.
I pray for peace, everywhere, all over the World and for the whole World to love and respect each other, whatever their skin colour, culture, religion.
Hello, everyone. I have not visited this group in a long time and I hang my head in shame. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and yours and I am thankful that Little Humming Bird is doing well.
Today, I ask that we bow our heads in prayers for those in need. Those struggeling durring this most difficult time in our economy. Those who barely have enought food to eat. The loss of jobs, finances and homes.
Those who feel hopeless and in despair. Let us reach out to them through the wind and lift their spirits and let them know that The Great Spirit has not forgotten them, that He is guiding them down their journey to the next path.
Let our spirit of hope and love lift up in the winds to them all.
Walk in peace and light my friends.
Kim aka LadyMysticWolf
Thank you, Dandelion, for your kind words and your prayers! They are so very much appreciated!
My heart reaches out to you Carola...I hear your pain. I will make prayer tie for you and your husband Edward.
I am pleased that Walelu recovered so well.
wonderful news, wado!
adding my smoke to the others!!!
I add my candles and prayers for all in need.
At this moment, I am in need of help: I need healing prayers for my beloved husband to be, Edward, who is seriously ill and in great danger, esp. as he is incarecerated and does not have much choice of treatment. He is a wonderful person, and there's no evil in his heart. Being Native American, his struggle for justice and freedom is not an easy one. Please join me in my prayers to the Creator for healing and help.
Blessings and love,

Thank you, Stephen, for sharing the good news!
Please give my best wishes to the Chief and his beloved wife.
The power of positive energy:
Osiyo my brothers and sister in this wonderful group!
I am not sure how much you know about Walelu, the Chief's beloved, and her recent diagnosis of colon cancer. This was discovered when they returned from their trip this past summer. Fortunately they caught it in an early stage. This following is a summary of how this challenged has been met:
I should first provide you some background on my personal meeting with our Chief and Walelu, aka "little Humming bird". It was about two weeks ago when I visited these two wonderful people in Hemet California.
I cannot put in words what a spiritual experience I had visiting these two beautiful and spiritual people! We all know from their contributions to care2 how beautiful they are. But, there is nothing like being in the presence of the people you so respect! I also bonded with "Tikka" who is the Chief's dog. As I was sitting there, absorbing all the great energy in the room I felt a unity as though we were close family. We talked about the up coming surgery for Little Humming Bird and how we have all evolved into this great family! Then came the most wonderful experience I have had in many years. Our Chief brought out the Prayer Pipe and all three of us smoked it, sharing an incredible bond. Our chief cited a prayer as I could feel the tears caressing my face as my soul was surely touched by this experience.
This morning, very early, I met with our Little Humming Bird, her daughter and our Chief at the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte California. All of us were together in the preparation room before the surgery and I cited an ancient Greek prayer, first in Greek and then in English. I felt the power of positive energy as I once did when I was a priest. I knew that everything was going to be alright!
Only about two hours ago I received a call from our Chief and heard the great news that all went very well in the surgery and recovery is expected to be quick and complete!
It is experiences like these that cause us to have faith, hope and appreciate what really is important in our life. This coming Thursday I and my beloved Regina will be visiting Little Humming Bird at the hospital. She is expected to be released either on Friday or Saturday.
I want to take this opportunity on behalf of the Moss family to thank all of you for your prayers and sending positive energy! You are all dear to me personally and I am honored you are sharing with us your involvement in this group! As we say in Greek, "O Theos Mazi Sou" which in English means, God be with you!
Osiyo my brothers and sisters in this group!
As you may or may not know, our Chief Runningfox and his new bride, Walelu, have taken a trip to variouis states to re-unite with Mother Nature, camping and appreciating what Mother Earth has given to us. Perhaps also visiting with tribes. I am looking forward to seeing them in August and want them back in good health and peace of mind!
I ask you to join with me a prayer for their safe return, that we may continue to be blessed by their wisdom, love and inspiration!
I am praying for you all here. Always.
Please pray for the families of the boy scouts who were killed in the tornado last night.

Pray for their peaceful crossings and for the healing of the families broken hearts. Also pray for those who were badly hurt, some fractured skulls, fractured pelvis's, dislocated hips and spinal injuries.
Also please pray for the scouts who survived this horrific tragedy and for their traumatic mental states, and the grief counselors that they may bring some comfort to the families and all who were involved.

Sorry, the photo I was referring to about the memories of Zephyr and the daffodil is in this thread http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=2116&pst=839815
Thank you Louise for lighting a candle and Dian, I am so sorry you have lost also your loved one and I send you big hugs. Thank you also Chief for posting that note from Pam.
On many occassions since Zephyr passed over I have been aware of his presence through 'signs', especially just 2 days after he was put to sleep. Even this morning I smiled to myself for where I sit every morning before I go to work on my doorstep drinking my tea, opposite is a field of daffodils. All these daffodils are the small headed species but straight ahead of me in line of where I sat there was a little bunch all on there own (the large headed species) and they shone really bright with the sun on them. I smiled because it reminded me of that photo of Zephyr and the daffodils that I posted in this thread. It's like those bigger daffodils just grew there in that field to show me that Zephyr's spirit continues and that he knows that I love and miss him dearly.
Yes Jenna it is sad when a dog dies..It is sad when any loved one dies including our pets. Animal, fish, plants or any living thing we share our lives with are special gifts given to us by our Creator..When they cross from this world into the one which follows and the one we shall also one day cross into it makes us sad but their time here was determined to be over by the maker..We must remember the blessings they gave us when they were here with us..They are very similar to tattoos but instead of leaving a lasting mark upon our bodies they leave one on our spirits..Remember the love and blessings they gave you and part of their spirit will be with you forever..I believe we shall one day see all our loved ones,no matter what species of life they were when we cross over and there will be a grand reunion when that happens..
It is so terribly sad to loose a dog, I hope my candle helps, when I had to put my best friend down I felt I had to free her spirit her time had come. My heart is with you, all animals pass freely I am sure of it.

My precious Mo Mo, whose real name is Moriah BUT....when she started destoying everything as a kitten, I remembered a ride at Six Flags called MO MO the Monster. She's eight and when I got home from work today, she wasn't right. Then I noticed a pus discharge and blood. Took her to the vets and sure enough, she has a pyrometria. Her white count is through the roof and she has a fever. She gave off a lot of heat while I held her in my arms at the vets. Having VERY expensive surgery tomorrow a.m. I'm praying for a complete recovery, for the price to go DOWN, that she won't need as much as the estimate and that she can come home sooner. I hate leaving her at the hospital. I can't stop crying. A few years ago, I had a favorite dog who had a ruptured pyro and never came back after surgery. She ended up with a esophageal granuloma, a tumor in her throat that blocked food from getting into her stomach. By the time we found out what was wrong with her, it was too late.

Please pray for Theo V, who has found out he has cancer on the tongue, I don't know if he is in this group or not.
Amazing story Jan. I am so glad noone was hurt. that is incredible the way everyone acted. I was lost on a subway in NYC once with my daughter and a complete stranger came up to me, took me to the map and showed me how to get back to my hotel. My daughter had and still has no memory of the stranger I talk about seeing at all. That was only a couple of years ago, she was on college break. I am glad you are ok. I think my stranger was an angel.
