Perhaps if schools and the police took cyber bullying more seriously then there would be less of it about. I know lots of people would be against this - in fact the same sort of people who thought police should not get involved if a man was beating his wife because it was only a "domestic dispute" - but if threatening behaviour is illegal, and it certainly is in the UK, then being threatening can happen just as much over the Internet as it can face to face and the cowards that indulge in this sort of bullying hide behind a cloak of anonymity, which certainly should not be allowed.
Linda, thank you for postinf that article. I have been away and just now reading it. It is staggering to know 40% of our children are bullied. I believe it has to start at home for this problem to stop.
