MAY 6TH DEADLINE TO PROTECT WOLVERINES

Take action!
Wolverine in snow by Steve Kroschel via USWFS

There are only about 300 wolverines left in the lower 48. And those that do remain are at serious risk from our rapidly warming climate.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFW has finally proposed to list wolverines as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act to hopefully provide the protection they need to survive.

Add your name to our petition below supporting this protective listing by the May 6th deadline for public comments.

I'd signed this before it was posted here.  Saw a program on PBS about wolverines and just fell in love with them, they are awesome creatures.  Thanks for putting up the link to the petition.
